Recipients of NT Commands
13 legal-theological categories — each group receives specific commands
Hermeneutical principle: the shaliach (שליח)
The rabbinic schema of the shaliach (Berakhot 34b — shlucho shel adam k'moto) grounds Christian apostleship: the emissary acts with the authority of the sender (Mt 10:40; Jn 13:20).
Hagiosyne (baptismal sanctification) qualifies the saints as a consecrated lineage (1Pet 2:9). Cheirotonia (1Tim 4:14) transmits the shaliach principle through the laying on of hands.
