GreekΤαῦτα εἰπὼν ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐταράχθη τῷ πνεύματι καὶ ἐμαρτύρησεν καὶ εἶπεν· Ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι εἷς ἐξ ὑμῶν παραδώσει με.
Gnostic TranslationDette queste cose, Gesù fu profondamente turbato e dichiarò: «In verità, in verità io vi dico: uno di voi mi tradirà».
Orthodox ReadingHaving said these things, Jesus was deeply troubled in spiritⓘ and bore witnessⓘ and said: «Amen, amen, I say to youⓘ that one of you will hand me overⓘ».

Gnostic TranslationRispose Gesù: «È colui per il quale intingerò il boccone e glielo darò». E, intinto il boccone, lo prese e lo diede a Giuda, figlio di Simone Iscariota.
Orthodox ReadingJesus answers: «It is the one to whom I will dip the morsel and give it to himⓘ». Having dipped the morsel, then, he gives it to Yehudah son of Shim'on Iskariotⓘ.

Greekκαὶ μετὰ τὸ ψωμίον τότε εἰσῆλθεν εἰς ἐκεῖνον ὁ Σατανᾶς. λέγει οὖν αὐτῷ ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ὃ ποιεῖς ποίησον τάχιον.
Gnostic TranslationAllora, dopo il boccone, Satana entrò in lui. Gli disse dunque Gesù: «Quello che vuoi fare, fallo presto».

Greekτινὲς γὰρ ἐδόκουν, ἐπεὶ τὸ γλωσσόκομον ⸀εἶχεν Ἰούδας, ὅτι λέγει αὐτῷ ⸀ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἀγόρασον ὧν χρείαν ἔχομεν εἰς τὴν ἑορτήν, ἢ τοῖς πτωχοῖς ἵνα τι δῷ.
Gnostic Translationalcuni infatti pensavano che, tenendo Giuda la cassa, Gesù gli avesse detto: «Compra quello che ci occorre per la festa», oppure che dovesse dare qualche cosa ai poveri.
Orthodox ReadingFor some thought, since Yehudah held the money boxⓘ, that Jesus was telling him: «Buy the things we need for the feastⓘ», or to give something to the poorⓘ.
