GreekὍταν τὸ ἀκάθαρτον πνεῦμα ἐξέλθῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, διέρχεται δι’ ἀνύδρων τόπων ζητοῦν ἀνάπαυσιν, καὶ μὴ ⸀εὑρίσκον λέγει· Ὑποστρέψω εἰς τὸν οἶκόν μου ὅθεν ἐξῆλθον·
Orthodox Reading«When the unclean spiritⓘ goes out of the manⓘ, it roams through arid placesⓘ seeking restⓘ, and finding none it says: I will return to my house, from which I came outⓘ.

Greekκαὶ ἐλθὸν ⸀εὑρίσκει σεσαρωμένον καὶ κεκοσμημένον.

Greekτότε πορεύεται καὶ παραλαμβάνει ⸂ἕτερα πνεύματα πονηρότερα ἑαυτοῦ ἑπτά⸃, καὶ ⸀εἰσελθόντα κατοικεῖ ἐκεῖ, καὶ γίνεται τὰ ἔσχατα τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκείνου χείρονα τῶν πρώτων.
