Καὶ κατῆλθεν εἰς Καφαρναοὺμ πόλιν τῆς Γαλιλαίας. καὶ ἦν διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ἐν τοῖς σάββασιν·
Poi scese a Cafàrnao, città della Galilea, e di sabato insegnava alla gente.
Then he went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Shabbatⓘ he was teaching in the synagogue (bet ha-knesset).

καὶ ἐξεπλήσσοντο ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐν ἐξουσίᾳ ἦν ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ.
Erano stupiti del suo insegnamento, perché la sua parola aveva autorità.
They were astonished at his teaching, because his word had authority of its ownⓘ, unlike that of the soferim (the scribes).

καὶ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ ἦν ἄνθρωπος ἔχων πνεῦμα δαιμονίου ἀκαθάρτου, καὶ ἀνέκραξεν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ·
Nella sinagoga c'era un uomo posseduto da uno spirito di demonio impuro e cominciò a gridare a gran voce:
In the synagogue (bet ha-knesset) there was a man possessed by a spirit of an unclean demonⓘ, and he began to cry out with a loud voice:

⸀Ἔα, τί ἡμῖν καὶ σοί, Ἰησοῦ Ναζαρηνέ; ἦλθες ἀπολέσαι ἡμᾶς; οἶδά σε τίς εἶ, ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ θεοῦ.
«Basta! Che vuoi da noi, Gesù Nazareno? Sei venuto a rovinarci? Io so chi tu sei: il santo di Dio!».
«Let us be! What have you to do with usⓘ, Jesus the Nazarene? Have you come to destroy usⓘ? I know who you are: the Holy One of Godⓘ!».

καὶ ἐπετίμησεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγων· Φιμώθητι καὶ ἔξελθε ⸀ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ. καὶ ῥίψαν αὐτὸν τὸ δαιμόνιον εἰς ⸀τὸ μέσον ἐξῆλθεν ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ μηδὲν βλάψαν αὐτόν.
Gesù gli ordinò severamente: «Taci! Esci da lui!». E il demonio lo gettò a terra in mezzo alla gente e uscì da lui, senza fargli alcun male.
Jesus rebuked him sternly: «Be silentⓘ! Come out of him!». And the demon threw him down in the midst of the people and came out of him, without doing him any harmⓘ.

καὶ ἐγένετο θάμβος ἐπὶ πάντας, καὶ συνελάλουν πρὸς ἀλλήλους λέγοντες· Τίς ὁ λόγος οὗτος ὅτι ἐν ἐξουσίᾳ καὶ δυνάμει ἐπιτάσσει τοῖς ἀκαθάρτοις πνεύμασιν, καὶ ἐξέρχονται;
Tutti furono presi da spavento e si dicevano l'un l'altro: «Che parola è mai questa, che comanda con autorità e potenza agli spiriti impuri ed essi escono?».
They were all seized with fear and said to one another: «What word is thisⓘ, that with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits and they come out?».

καὶ ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς πάντα τόπον τῆς περιχώρου.
E la sua fama si diffondeva in ogni luogo della regione circostante.
And his fame spread to every place in the surrounding region.

Ἀναστὰς δὲ ⸀ἀπὸ τῆς συναγωγῆς εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Σίμωνος. πενθερὰ δὲ τοῦ Σίμωνος ἦν συνεχομένη πυρετῷ μεγάλῳ, καὶ ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν περὶ αὐτῆς.
Uscito dalla sinagoga, entrò nella casa di Simone. La suocera di Simone era in preda a una grande febbre e lo pregarono per lei.
Leaving the synagogue (bet ha-knesset), he entered the house of Simonⓘ. Simon's mother-in-law was in the grip of a high feverⓘ, and they pleaded with him on her behalf.

καὶ ἐπιστὰς ἐπάνω αὐτῆς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ πυρετῷ, καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτήν· παραχρῆμα δὲ ἀναστᾶσα διηκόνει αὐτοῖς.
Si chinò su di lei, comandò alla febbre e la febbre la lasciò. E subito si alzò in piedi e li serviva.
He bent over herⓘ, commanded the feverⓘ, and the fever left her. And at onceⓘ she stood up and servedⓘ them.

Δύνοντος δὲ τοῦ ἡλίου ⸀ἅπαντες ὅσοι εἶχον ἀσθενοῦντας νόσοις ποικίλαις ἤγαγον αὐτοὺς πρὸς αὐτόν· ὁ δὲ ἑνὶ ἑκάστῳ αὐτῶν τὰς χεῖρας ⸂ἐπιτιθεὶς ἐθεράπευεν⸃ αὐτούς.
Al calar del sole, tutti quelli che avevano infermi colpiti da varie malattie li condussero a lui. Ed egli, imponendo le mani su ciascuno, li guariva.
At sunsetⓘ, once the Shabbat had set, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him. And he, laying his handsⓘ on each one, healedⓘ them.

ἐξήρχετο δὲ καὶ δαιμόνια ἀπὸ πολλῶν ⸀κραυγάζοντα καὶ λέγοντα ὅτι Σὺ ⸀εἶ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ θεοῦ. καὶ ἐπιτιμῶν οὐκ εἴα αὐτὰ λαλεῖν, ὅτι ᾔδεισαν τὸν χριστὸν αὐτὸν εἶναι.
Da molti uscivano anche demòni, gridando: «Tu sei il Figlio di Dio!». Ma egli li minacciava e non li lasciava parlare, perché sapevano che era il Cristo.
Demons also came out of many, crying: «You are the Son of Godⓘ!». But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christⓘ.

Γενομένης δὲ ἡμέρας ἐξελθὼν ἐπορεύθη εἰς ἔρημον τόπον· καὶ οἱ ὄχλοι ἐπεζήτουν αὐτόν, καὶ ἦλθον ἕως αὐτοῦ, καὶ κατεῖχον αὐτὸν τοῦ μὴ πορεύεσθαι ἀπ’ αὐτῶν.
Sul far del giorno uscì e si recò in un luogo deserto. Ma le folle lo cercavano, lo raggiunsero e cercavano di trattenerlo perché non se ne andasse.
At daybreak he went out and withdrew to a deserted place. But the crowds of am ha-aretz (the common people, not bound to the rabbinic schools) soughtⓘ him, reached him, and tried to keep him from leaving them.

ὁ δὲ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὅτι Καὶ ταῖς ἑτέραις πόλεσιν εὐαγγελίσασθαί με δεῖ τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ, ὅτι ⸀ἐπὶ τοῦτο ⸀ἀπεστάλην.
Egli però disse loro: «È necessario che io annunci la buona notizia del regno di Dio anche alle altre città; per questo sono stato mandato».
But he said to them: «I must announce the good news of the Kingdom of Godⓘ to the other towns as well; for this I was sentⓘ».

καὶ ἦν κηρύσσων ⸂εἰς τὰς συναγωγὰς⸃ τῆς ⸀Ἰουδαίας.
E andava predicando nelle sinagoghe della Giudea.
And he went on preaching in the synagogues (bet ha-knesset, the houses of assembly and of study) of Judeaⓘ.
