Καὶ ἔρχονται εἰς Ἰεριχώ. καὶ ἐκπορευομένου αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ Ἰεριχὼ καὶ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ὄχλου ἱκανοῦ ⸀ὁ υἱὸς Τιμαίου Βαρτιμαῖος ⸀τυφλὸς ⸂προσαίτης ἐκάθητο παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν⸃.
Giunsero a Gerico. Mentre partiva da Gerico insieme ai suoi discepoli e a molta folla, il figlio di Timeo, Bartimeo, cieco, sedeva lungo la strada a mendicare.
They came to Jerichoⓘ. As he was leaving Jericho with his disciplesⓘ and with a large crowdⓘ, Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeusⓘ, blind and a beggarⓘ, was sitting beside the road.

καὶ ἀκούσας ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ὁ ⸀Ναζαρηνός ἐστιν ἤρξατο κράζειν καὶ λέγειν· ⸀Υἱὲ Δαυὶδ Ἰησοῦ, ἐλέησόν με.
Sentendo che era Gesù Nazareno, cominciò a gridare e a dire: «Figlio di Davide, Gesù, abbi pietà di me!».
And hearing that it was Jesus the Nazareneⓘ, he began to cry out and to say: «Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on meⓘ!».

καὶ ἐπετίμων αὐτῷ πολλοὶ ἵνα σιωπήσῃ· ὁ δὲ πολλῷ μᾶλλον ἔκραζεν· Υἱὲ Δαυίδ, ἐλέησόν με.
Molti lo rimproveravano perché tacesse, ma egli gridava più forte: «Figlio di Davide, abbi pietà di me!».
Many rebuked him to make him be silent, but he cried out all the moreⓘ: «Son of David, have mercy on me!».

καὶ στὰς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν· ⸂Φωνήσατε αὐτόν⸃. καὶ φωνοῦσι τὸν τυφλὸν λέγοντες αὐτῷ· Θάρσει, ⸀ἔγειρε, φωνεῖ σε.
Gesù si fermò e disse: «Chiamatelo!».
And Jesus stoppedⓘ and said: «Call himⓘ!». And they called the blind man, saying to him: «Take heart, get up, he is calling youⓘ».

ὁ δὲ ἀποβαλὼν τὸ ἱμάτιον αὐτοῦ ⸀ἀναπηδήσας ἦλθεν πρὸς τὸν Ἰησοῦν.
Egli, gettato via il mantello, balzò in piedi e venne da Gesù.
And he, throwing off his cloakⓘ, sprang to his feet and came to Jesus.

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ⸂αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν⸃· Τί ⸂σοι θέλεις ποιήσω⸃; ὁ δὲ τυφλὸς εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Ραββουνι, ἵνα ἀναβλέψω.
Gesù gli disse: «Che cosa vuoi che io faccia per te?». E il cieco gli rispose: «Rabbunì, che io veda di nuovo!».
And Jesus answered him, saying: «What do you want me to do for you?». And the blind man said to him: «Rabbuni, that I may see againⓘ!».

⸂καὶ ὁ⸃ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Ὕπαγε, ἡ πίστις σου σέσωκέν σε. καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς ἀνέβλεψεν, καὶ ἠκολούθει ⸀αὐτῷ ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ.
E Gesù gli disse: «Va', la tua fede ti ha salvato». E subito vide di nuovo e lo seguiva lungo la strada.
And Jesus said to him: «Goⓘ, your faith has saved youⓘ». And immediately he saw again and was following him along the roadⓘ.
