Καὶ ὅτε ἐγγίζουσιν εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα εἰς Βηθφαγὴ καὶ Βηθανίαν πρὸς τὸ Ὄρος τῶν Ἐλαιῶν, ἀποστέλλει δύο τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ
Quando furono vicini a Gerusalemme, verso Bètfage e Betània, presso il monte degli Ulivi, mandò due dei suoi discepoli
And when they drew near to Jerusalemⓘ, toward Bethphageⓘ and Bethanyⓘ, near the Mount of Olivesⓘ, he sent two of his disciplesⓘ

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ὑπάγετε εἰς τὴν κώμην τὴν κατέναντι ὑμῶν, καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς εἰσπορευόμενοι εἰς αὐτὴν εὑρήσετε πῶλον δεδεμένον ἐφ’ ὃν οὐδεὶς ⸀οὔπω ἀνθρώπων ⸀ἐκάθισεν· ⸂λύσατε αὐτὸν καὶ φέρετε⸃.
e disse loro: «Andate nel villaggio di fronte a voi e subito, entrando in esso, troverete un puledro legato, sul quale nessuno è ancora salito. Slegatelo e portatelo qui.
saying to them: «Goⓘ into the village before you, and immediately, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, on which no man has yet satⓘ; untie it and bring itⓘ.

καὶ ἐάν τις ὑμῖν εἴπῃ· Τί ποιεῖτε τοῦτο; εἴπατε ⸀ὅτι Ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ χρείαν ἔχει· καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς αὐτὸν ἀποστέλλει ⸀πάλιν ὧδε.
E se qualcuno vi dirà: Perché fate questo?, rispondete: Il Signore ne ha bisogno...».
And if anyone says to you: Why are you doing this?, sayⓘ: The Lord has need of itⓘ, and immediately he will send it back here againⓘ».

καὶ ⸀φέρουσιν τὸν πῶλον πρὸς τὸν Ἰησοῦν, καὶ ⸀ἐπιβάλλουσιν αὐτῷ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐπ’ ⸀αὐτόν.
Condussero il puledro da Gesù, vi gettarono sopra i loro mantelli ed egli vi salì sopra.
And they bringⓘ the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaksⓘ upon it, and he satⓘ on it.

⸂καὶ πολλοὶ⸃ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν ἔστρωσαν εἰς τὴν ὁδόν, ἄλλοι δὲ στιβάδας ⸂κόψαντες ἐκ τῶν ἀγρῶν⸃.
Molti stendevano i propri mantelli sulla strada, altri invece delle fronde, tagliate nei campi.
And many spreadⓘ their cloaks on the road, while others leafy branchesⓘ cut from the fields.

καὶ οἱ προάγοντες καὶ οἱ ἀκολουθοῦντες ⸀ἔκραζον· Ὡσαννά· Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου·
Quelli che precedevano e quelli che seguivano, gridavano: «Osanna! Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore!
And those who went ahead and those who followed kept crying outⓘ: «Hosannaⓘ! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lordⓘ!

Εὐλογημένη ἡ ἐρχομένη ⸀βασιλεία τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν Δαυίδ· Ὡσαννὰ ἐν τοῖς ὑψίστοις.
Benedetto il Regno che viene, del nostro padre Davide! Osanna nel più alto dei cieli!».
Blessed is the coming Kingdom of our father Davidⓘ! Hosanna in the highestⓘ!».

Καὶ εἰσῆλθεν εἰς ⸀Ἱεροσόλυμα εἰς τὸ ἱερόν· καὶ περιβλεψάμενος πάντα ⸀ὀψὲ ἤδη οὔσης τῆς ὥρας ἐξῆλθεν εἰς Βηθανίαν μετὰ τῶν δώδεκα.
Ed entrò a Gerusalemme, nel tempio.
And he entered Jerusalem, into the Templeⓘ; and having looked around at everythingⓘ, the hour being now lateⓘ, he went out to Bethany with the Twelveⓘ.
