Καὶ προσελθὼν εἷς τῶν γραμματέων ἀκούσας αὐτῶν συζητούντων, ⸀ἰδὼν ὅτι καλῶς ⸂ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς⸃, ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτόν· Ποία ἐστὶν ⸂ἐντολὴ πρώτη πάντων⸃;
Allora si avvicinò a lui uno degli scribi che li aveva uditi discutere e, visto come aveva ben risposto a loro, gli domandò: «Qual è il primo di tutti i comandamenti?».
One of the scribes (soferim)ⓘ, having heard them disputingⓘ and seeing how well Jesus had answered themⓘ, askedⓘ him: «Which is the first commandment (mitzvah) of allⓘ?».

⸂ἀπεκρίθη ὁ Ἰησοῦς⸃ ὅτι Πρώτη ⸀ἐστίν· Ἄκουε, Ἰσραήλ, κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν κύριος εἷς ἐστιν,
Gesù rispose: «Il primo è: Ascolta, Israele! Il Signore nostro Dio è l'unico Signore;
Jesus answeredⓘ: «The first is: Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is oneⓘ;

καὶ ἀγαπήσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης ⸀τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς διανοίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ἰσχύος ⸀σου.
amerai il Signore tuo Dio con tutto il tuo cuore e con tutta la tua anima, con tutta la tua mente e con tutta la tua forza.
and you shall loveⓘ the Lord your God with all your heartⓘ, soulⓘ, mindⓘ and strengthⓘ.

⸀δευτέρα αὕτη· Ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν. μείζων τούτων ἄλλη ἐντολὴ οὐκ ἔστιν.
Il secondo è questo: Amerai il tuo prossimo come te stesso. Non c'è altro comandamento più grande di questi».
The second is this: you shall love your neighbor as yourselfⓘ. There is no other commandment greater than these».

⸀καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ γραμματεύς· Καλῶς, διδάσκαλε, ἐπ’ ἀληθείας εἶπες ὅτι εἷς ἐστιν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλος πλὴν αὐτοῦ·
Lo scriba gli disse: «Hai detto bene, Maestro, e secondo verità, che Egli è unico e non vi è altri all'infuori di lui;
The scribe (sofer)ⓘ said to him: «You have spoken well, Teacherⓘ, and according to truth: He is one and there is no other besides him;

καὶ τὸ ἀγαπᾶν αὐτὸν ἐξ ὅλης ⸀τῆς καρδίας καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ⸀συνέσεως καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ἰσχύος καὶ τὸ ἀγαπᾶν τὸν πλησίον ὡς ἑαυτὸν ⸀περισσότερόν ἐστιν πάντων τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ θυσιῶν.
amarlo con tutto il cuore, con tutta l'intelligenza e con tutta la forza e amare il prossimo come se stesso vale più di tutti gli olocausti e i sacrifici».
and to love himⓘ with all the heartⓘ, with all the understandingⓘ and with all the strengthⓘ, and to love the neighbor as oneself, is worth more than all the burnt offerings (olot) and sacrifices (zevachim) of the Temple worshipⓘ».

καὶ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἰδὼν ⸀αὐτὸν ὅτι νουνεχῶς ἀπεκρίθη εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Οὐ μακρὰν εἶ ἀπὸ τῆς βασιλείας τοῦ θεοῦ. καὶ οὐδεὶς οὐκέτι ἐτόλμα αὐτὸν ἐπερωτῆσαι.
Vedendo che egli aveva risposto saggiamente, Gesù gli disse: «Non sei lontano dal regno di Dio». E nessuno aveva più il coraggio di interrogarlo.
Jesusⓘ, seeing that he had answered wiselyⓘ, said to him: «You are not far from the kingdom of Godⓘ». And no one dared question him any longerⓘ.
