Later, while the Elevenⓘ were reclining at tableⓘ, he was made manifestⓘ to them, and he reproached themⓘ for their unbeliefⓘ and hardness of heart, because they had not given faith to those who had seen him risen from the deadⓘ.
15

Whoever will have believed and will have received the tevilah, the Hebrew immersion of purification and entry into the covenant here referred to baptism, will be savedⓘ; but whoever will not have believed will be condemned.
17
These are the otot, the revelatory-signs that authenticate the mission (like the signs of the exodus, Ex 7-12), not prodigies for their own sake ototⓘ, and they will accompany those who believe: in my Name, acting as shaliach, the envoy who operates ba-shem with the authority of the sender and not by his own power, they will cast out demonsⓘ, they will speak new tonguesⓘ,
18
they will take up serpents in their hands, and if they drink anything deadly it will bring them no harm whatsoever; they will lay on hands with the semikhah, the imposition that transmits blessing and healing (cf. Gen 48:14), upon the sick they will lay on handsⓘ and these will be wellⓘ».
