Greekκαὶ ἀφέντες τὸν ὄχλον παραλαμβάνουσιν αὐτὸν ὡς ἦν ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ, καὶ ἄλλα ⸀πλοῖα ἦν μετ’ αὐτοῦ.

Greekκαὶ διεγερθεὶς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ ἀνέμῳ καὶ εἶπεν τῇ θαλάσσῃ· Σιώπα, πεφίμωσο. καὶ ἐκόπασεν ὁ ἄνεμος, καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη μεγάλη.
Orthodox ReadingHe awoke, rebuked the windⓘ and said to the seaⓘ: «Be silent, be muzzledⓘ!», subduing the waters of the tehom (תְּהוֹם), the primordial abyss of Gen 1:2. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calmⓘ.
