Οὐκ ἔστιν μαθητὴς ὑπὲρ τὸν διδάσκαλον οὐδὲ δοῦλος ὑπὲρ τὸν κύριον αὐτοῦ.
Un discepolo non è più del maestro, né un servo più del suo padrone.
A discipleⓘ is not above the teacher (rav)ⓘ, nor a servantⓘ above his masterⓘ.

ἀρκετὸν τῷ μαθητῇ ἵνα γένηται ὡς ὁ διδάσκαλος αὐτοῦ, καὶ ὁ δοῦλος ὡς ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ. εἰ τὸν οἰκοδεσπότην Βεελζεβοὺλ ⸀ἐπεκάλεσαν, πόσῳ μᾶλλον τοὺς οἰκιακοὺς αὐτοῦ.
È sufficiente per il discepolo essere come il suo maestro, e per il servo essere come il suo padrone. Se hanno chiamato Beelzebùl il padrone di casa, quanto più i suoi familiari!
It is enough for the discipleⓘ that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house (ba'al ha-bayit)ⓘ by the epithetⓘ Beelzebulⓘ, how much moreⓘ will they call his household members (bnei ha-bayit)ⓘ!
