Καὶ προσελθόντες οἱ Φαρισαῖοι καὶ Σαδδουκαῖοι πειράζοντες ἐπηρώτησαν αὐτὸν σημεῖον ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτοῖς.
Si avvicinarono i farisei e i sadducei e, per metterlo alla prova, gli chiesero di mostrare loro un segno dal cielo.
Andⓘ the perushim perushimⓘ and the Saddoukaioi Saddoukaioiⓘ approached and, testing himⓘ, asked him for a signⓘ.

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ⸂Ὀψίας γενομένης λέγετε· Εὐδία, πυρράζει γὰρ ὁ οὐρανός·
Ma egli rispose loro: «Quando si fa sera, voi dite: Bel tempo, perché il cielo rosseggia;
Butⓘ he answered: «At evening you say: Fair weather, for the sky is redⓘ;

καὶ πρωΐ· Σήμερον χειμών, πυρράζει γὰρ στυγνάζων ὁ οὐρανός. ⸀τὸ μὲν πρόσωπον τοῦ οὐρανοῦ γινώσκετε διακρίνειν, τὰ δὲ σημεῖα τῶν καιρῶν οὐ δύνασθε.⸃
e al mattino: Oggi burrasca, perché il cielo è rosso e cupo. Sapete dunque interpretare l'aspetto del cielo e non sapete distinguere i segni dei tempi?
in the morning: Today a storm, for the sky is overcast. The face of the sky you discern, yet the signs of the timesⓘ you cannot?

Γενεὰ πονηρὰ καὶ μοιχαλὶς σημεῖον ἐπιζητεῖ, καὶ σημεῖον οὐ δοθήσεται αὐτῇ εἰ μὴ τὸ σημεῖον ⸀Ἰωνᾶ. καὶ καταλιπὼν αὐτοὺς ἀπῆλθεν.
Una generazione malvagia e adultera cerca un segno, ma non le sarà dato alcun segno, se non il segno di Giona». E, lasciatili, se ne andò.
A generationⓘ evil and adulterousⓘ seeks a sign, and none will be givenⓘ to it except the sign of Jonahⓘ». And he left themⓘ.

Καὶ ἐλθόντες οἱ ⸀μαθηταὶ εἰς τὸ πέραν ἐπελάθοντο ἄρτους λαβεῖν.
Nel passare all'altra riva, i discepoli avevano dimenticato di prendere il pane.
And when the disciples disciplesⓘ came to the other shoreⓘ, they had forgotten the loavesⓘ.

ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Ὁρᾶτε καὶ προσέχετε ἀπὸ τῆς ζύμης τῶν Φαρισαίων καὶ Σαδδουκαίων.
Gesù disse loro: «Fate attenzione e guardatevi dal lievito dei farisei e dei sadducei».
And Jesus said to them: «Beware of the leavenⓘ of the perushim and of the Saddoukaioi».

οἱ δὲ διελογίζοντο ἐν ἑαυτοῖς λέγοντες ὅτι Ἄρτους οὐκ ἐλάβομεν.
Ma essi discutevano fra loro dicendo: «Non abbiamo preso il pane».
And they reasoned among themselves: «It is because we took no loaves».

γνοὺς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ⸀εἶπεν· Τί διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ἑαυτοῖς, ὀλιγόπιστοι, ὅτι ἄρτους οὐκ ⸀ἐλάβετε;
Accortosene, Gesù disse: «Gente di poca fede, perché andate dicendo fra voi che non avete pane?
And Jesus, perceiving itⓘ, said: «you of little faithⓘ, why do you reason that you have no loaves?

οὔπω νοεῖτε, οὐδὲ μνημονεύετε τοὺς πέντε ἄρτους τῶν πεντακισχιλίων καὶ πόσους κοφίνους ἐλάβετε;
Non capite ancora e non ricordate i cinque pani dei cinquemila e quante ceste avete portato via?
Do you not yet understandⓘ, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many basketsⓘ you gathered?

οὐδὲ τοὺς ἑπτὰ ἄρτους τῶν τετρακισχιλίων καὶ πόσας σπυρίδας ἐλάβετε;
E i sette pani dei quattromila e quante sporte avete raccolto?
Nor the seven of the four thousand and how many basketsⓘ you gathered?

πῶς οὐ νοεῖτε ὅτι οὐ περὶ ⸀ἄρτων εἶπον ὑμῖν; ⸂προσέχετε δὲ⸃ ἀπὸ τῆς ζύμης τῶν Φαρισαίων καὶ Σαδδουκαίων.
Come mai non capite che non parlavo di pane? Guardatevi dal lievito dei farisei e dei sadducei».
How do you not understand that I was not speaking of loaves? Beware of the leaven of the perushim and of the Saddoukaioi».

τότε συνῆκαν ὅτι οὐκ εἶπεν προσέχειν ἀπὸ τῆς ζύμης ⸂τῶν ἄρτων⸃ ἀλλὰ ἀπὸ τῆς διδαχῆς τῶν Φαρισαίων καὶ Σαδδουκαίων.
Allora compresero che aveva detto loro di guardarsi non dal lievito del pane, ma dall'insegnamento dei farisei e dei sadducei.
Then they understood that he was not telling them to beware of the leaven of loaves, but of the teachingⓘ of the perushim and of the Saddoukaioi.
