Μὴ νομίσητε ὅτι ἦλθον καταλῦσαι τὸν νόμον ἢ τοὺς προφήτας· οὐκ ἦλθον καταλῦσαι ἀλλὰ πληρῶσαι·
Non crediate che io sia venuto ad abolire la Legge o i Profeti; non sono venuto ad abolire, ma a dare pieno compimento.
Do not think that I have come to abolishⓘ the Torah (the instructionⓘ) or the Prophets (the Nevi'imⓘ); I have not come to abolish, but to bring to fulfillmentⓘ.

ἀμὴν γὰρ λέγω ὑμῖν, ἕως ἂν παρέλθῃ ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ, ἰῶτα ἓν ἢ μία κεραία οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ νόμου, ἕως ἂν πάντα γένηται.
In verità io vi dico: finché non siano passati il cielo e la terra, non passerà un solo iota o un solo trattino della Legge, senza che tutto sia avvenuto.
Truly I say to youⓘ: until heaven and earthⓘ pass away, not one iota or one strokeⓘ will pass from the Torahⓘ, until all is accomplishedⓘ.

ὃς ἐὰν οὖν λύσῃ μίαν τῶν ἐντολῶν τούτων τῶν ἐλαχίστων καὶ διδάξῃ οὕτως τοὺς ἀνθρώπους, ἐλάχιστος κληθήσεται ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν· ὃς δ’ ἂν ποιήσῃ καὶ διδάξῃ, οὗτος μέγας κληθήσεται ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν.
Chi dunque trasgredirà uno solo di questi minimi precetti e insegnerà agli altri a fare altrettanto, sarà considerato minimo nel regno dei cieli. Chi invece li osserverà e li insegnerà, sarà considerato grande nel regno dei cieli.
Whoever therefore looses one of these least preceptsⓘ and so teaches othersⓘ will be called leastⓘ in the kingdom of heavenⓘ; but whoever does and teaches themⓘ will be called greatⓘ.

λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐὰν μὴ περισσεύσῃ ⸂ὑμῶν ἡ δικαιοσύνη⸃ πλεῖον τῶν γραμματέων καὶ Φαρισαίων, οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν.
Io vi dico infatti: se la vostra giustizia non supererà quella degli scribi e dei farisei, non entrerete nel regno dei cieli.
For I say to you: if your righteousness (tzedaqah)ⓘ does not surpassⓘ that of the soferim (the scribes, the masters of the written Torahⓘ) and of the perushim (the Pharisees, the observantⓘ), you will not enter the kingdom of heavenⓘ.
