Ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ δαιμονιζομένους πολλούς· καὶ ἐξέβαλεν τὰ πνεύματα λόγῳ, καὶ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ἐθεράπευσεν·
Venuta la sera, gli portarono molti indemoniati; ed egli scacciò gli spiriti con una parola e guarì tutti i malati,
When evening cameⓘ, they brought to himⓘ many who were demon-possessedⓘ; and he drove out the spirits with a wordⓘ and healedⓘ all the sickⓘ,

ὅπως πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ Ἠσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος· Αὐτὸς τὰς ἀσθενείας ἡμῶν ἔλαβεν καὶ τὰς νόσους ἐβάστασεν.
perché si adempisse ciò che era stato detto per mezzo del profeta Isaia: «Egli prese le nostre infermità e portò le nostre malattie».
so that it might be fulfilledⓘ what had been spokenⓘ through the prophet Isaiahⓘ: «He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases»ⓘ — «took up» and «bore»ⓘ.
