Καὶ ⸀ἐμβὰς ⸀εἰς πλοῖον διεπέρασεν καὶ ἦλθεν εἰς τὴν ἰδίαν πόλιν.
Salito su una barca, passò all'altra riva e venne nella sua città.
Getting into a boatⓘ, he crossed over to the other sideⓘ and came to his own townⓘ.

Καὶ ἰδοὺ προσέφερον αὐτῷ παραλυτικὸν ἐπὶ κλίνης βεβλημένον. καὶ ἰδὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τὴν πίστιν αὐτῶν εἶπεν τῷ παραλυτικῷ· Θάρσει, τέκνον· ⸀ἀφίενταί ⸂σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι⸃.
Ed ecco, gli portavano un paralitico steso su un letto. Gesù, vista la loro fede, disse al paralitico: «Coraggio, figlio, ti sono perdonati i peccati».
And behold, they brought to him a paralyticⓘ lying on a bedⓘ. Jesus, seeing their faithⓘ, said to the paralytic: «Take heart, sonⓘ, your sins are forgivenⓘ».

καὶ ἰδού τινες τῶν γραμματέων εἶπαν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς· Οὗτος βλασφημεῖ.
Allora alcuni scribi dissero fra sé: «Costui bestemmia».
And behold, some scribes (soferim), the scholars of the Torahⓘ said within themselvesⓘ: «This man blasphemesⓘ».

καὶ ⸀εἰδὼς ὁ Ἰησοῦς τὰς ἐνθυμήσεις αὐτῶν εἶπεν· ⸀Ἱνατί ἐνθυμεῖσθε πονηρὰ ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν;
Ma Gesù, conoscendo i loro pensieri, disse: «Perché pensate cose malvagie nel vostro cuore?
Jesus, knowing their thoughtsⓘ, said: «Why do you think evil thingsⓘ in your heartsⓘ?

τί γάρ ἐστιν εὐκοπώτερον, εἰπεῖν· ⸀Ἀφίενταί σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι, ἢ εἰπεῖν· ⸀Ἔγειρε καὶ περιπάτει;
Che cosa è più facile, dire: Ti sono perdonati i peccati, oppure dire: Àlzati e cammina?
Which is easierⓘ, to say «your sins are forgiven» or «rise and walkⓘ»?

ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας— τότε λέγει τῷ παραλυτικῷ· ⸀Ἐγερθεὶς ἆρόν σου τὴν κλίνην καὶ ὕπαγε εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου.
Ma perché sappiate che il Figlio dell'uomo ha il potere sulla terra di perdonare i peccati: àlzati — disse allora al paralitico —, prendi il tuo letto e va' a casa tua».
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sinsⓘ: rise, take up your bedⓘ and go homeⓘ».

καὶ ἐγερθεὶς ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ.
Ed egli si alzò e andò a casa sua.
And he roseⓘ and went home.

ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ ὄχλοι ⸀ἐφοβήθησαν καὶ ἐδόξασαν τὸν θεὸν τὸν δόντα ἐξουσίαν τοιαύτην τοῖς ἀνθρώποις.
Le folle, vedendo questo, furono prese da timore e resero gloria a Dio che aveva dato un tale potere agli uomini.
The crowdsⓘ, seized with fearⓘ, gave glory to Godⓘ who had given such power to menⓘ.
