Ταῦτα ⸀ἐλάλησεν Ἰησοῦς, καὶ ⸂ἐπάρας τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν εἶπεν⸃· Πάτερ, ἐλήλυθεν ἡ ὥρα· δόξασόν σου τὸν υἱόν, ⸀ἵνα ὁ ⸀υἱὸς δοξάσῃ σέ,
Padre, è venuta l'ora: glorifica il Figlio tuo, perché il Figlio glorifichi te.
«Father, the hourⓘ has come: glorify your Son, that the Son may glorify you.

καθὼς ἔδωκας αὐτῷ ἐξουσίαν πάσης σαρκός, ἵνα πᾶν ὃ δέδωκας αὐτῷ ⸀δώσῃ αὐτοῖς ζωὴν αἰώνιον.
Tu gli hai dato potere su ogni essere umano, perché egli dia la vita eterna a tutti coloro che gli hai dato.
You have given him authority over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

αὕτη δέ ἐστιν ἡ αἰώνιος ζωὴ ἵνα γινώσκωσι σὲ τὸν μόνον ἀληθινὸν θεὸν καὶ ὃν ἀπέστειλας Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν.
Questa è la vita eterna: che conoscano te, l'unico vero Dio, e colui che hai mandato, Gesù Cristo.
This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one whom you have sent, Jesus Christⓘ.

ἐγώ σε ἐδόξασα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, τὸ ἔργον ⸀τελειώσας ὃ δέδωκάς μοι ἵνα ποιήσω·
Io ti ho glorificato sulla terra, compiendo l'opera che mi hai dato da fare.
I have glorified you on earth, accomplishing the work that you gave meⓘ.

καὶ νῦν δόξασόν με σύ, πάτερ, παρὰ σεαυτῷ τῇ δόξῃ ᾗ εἶχον πρὸ τοῦ τὸν κόσμον εἶναι παρὰ σοί.
E ora, Padre, glorificami davanti a te con quella gloria che io avevo presso di te prima che il mondo fosse.
Glorify me with the glory that I had with you before the world wasⓘ.

Ἐφανέρωσά σου τὸ ὄνομα τοῖς ἀνθρώποις οὓς ⸀ἔδωκάς μοι ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου. σοὶ ἦσαν κἀμοὶ αὐτοὺς ⸁ἔδωκας, καὶ τὸν λόγον σου τετήρηκαν.
Ho manifestato il tuo nome agli uomini che mi hai dato dal mondo.
I have manifested your name to the peopleⓘ whom you gave me, and they have kept your wordⓘ.

καὶ οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ, καὶ ⸀αὐτοὶ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ εἰσίν, κἀγὼ πρὸς σὲ ἔρχομαι. πάτερ ἅγιε, τήρησον αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ᾧ δέδωκάς μοι, ἵνα ὦσιν ἓν ⸀καθὼς ἡμεῖς.
Padre santo, custodiscili nel tuo nome, quello che mi hai dato, perché siano una cosa sola, come noi.
Holy Father, keep them in your nameⓘ, that they may be one, as we areⓘ.

οὐκ ἐρωτῶ ἵνα ἄρῃς αὐτοὺς ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου ἀλλ’ ἵνα τηρήσῃς αὐτοὺς ἐκ τοῦ πονηροῦ.
Non prego che tu li tolga dal mondo, ma che tu li custodisca dal Maligno.
I do not pray that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the Evil Oneⓘ.

ἁγίασον αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ ⸀ἀληθείᾳ· ὁ λόγος ὁ σὸς ἀλήθειά ἐστιν.
Consacrali nella verità. La tua parola è verità.
Consecrate them in the truth: your word is truthⓘ.

Οὐ περὶ τούτων δὲ ἐρωτῶ μόνον, ἀλλὰ καὶ περὶ τῶν πιστευόντων διὰ τοῦ λόγου αὐτῶν εἰς ἐμέ,
Non prego solo per questi, ma anche per quelli che crederanno in me mediante la loro parola:
I pray not only for these, but for all who will believe through their word:

ἵνα πάντες ἓν ὦσιν, καθὼς σύ, ⸀πάτερ, ἐν ἐμοὶ κἀγὼ ἐν σοί, ἵνα καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐν ⸀ἡμῖν ὦσιν, ἵνα ὁ κόσμος ⸀πιστεύῃ ὅτι σύ με ἀπέστειλας.
perché tutti siano una sola cosa; come tu, Padre, sei in me e io in te, siano anch'essi in noi.
that they all may be oneⓘ; as you, Father, are in me and I in you.

⸀πάτερ, ⸀ὃ δέδωκάς μοι, θέλω ἵνα ὅπου εἰμὶ ἐγὼ κἀκεῖνοι ὦσιν μετ’ ἐμοῦ, ἵνα θεωρῶσιν τὴν δόξαν τὴν ἐμὴν ἣν ⸀δέδωκάς μοι, ὅτι ἠγάπησάς με πρὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου.
Padre, voglio che quelli che mi hai dato siano anch'essi con me dove sono io, perché contemplino la mia gloria, quella che tu mi hai dato, poiché mi hai amato prima della creazione del mondo.
Father, I want that they may be with me where I am, that they may contemplate my glory, which you have given me because you have loved me before the foundation of the worldⓘ.

καὶ ἐγνώρισα αὐτοῖς τὸ ὄνομά σου καὶ γνωρίσω, ἵνα ἡ ἀγάπη ἣν ἠγάπησάς με ἐν αὐτοῖς ᾖ κἀγὼ ἐν αὐτοῖς.
E ho fatto conoscere loro il tuo nome e lo farò conoscere, perché l'amore con il quale mi hai amato sia in essi e io in loro.
I have made your name known to themⓘ, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them».
