Gnostic TranslationPadre, è venuta l'ora: glorifica il Figlio tuo, perché il Figlio glorifichi te.
Orthodox Reading«Father, the hourⓘ has come: glorify your Son, that the Son may glorify you.

Greekκαθὼς ἔδωκας αὐτῷ ἐξουσίαν πάσης σαρκός, ἵνα πᾶν ὃ δέδωκας αὐτῷ ⸀δώσῃ αὐτοῖς ζωὴν αἰώνιον.
Gnostic TranslationTu gli hai dato potere su ogni essere umano, perché egli dia la vita eterna a tutti coloro che gli hai dato.

Greekαὕτη δέ ἐστιν ἡ αἰώνιος ζωὴ ἵνα γινώσκωσι σὲ τὸν μόνον ἀληθινὸν θεὸν καὶ ὃν ἀπέστειλας Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν.
Gnostic TranslationQuesta è la vita eterna: che conoscano te, l'unico vero Dio, e colui che hai mandato, Gesù Cristo.

Greekκαὶ νῦν δόξασόν με σύ, πάτερ, παρὰ σεαυτῷ τῇ δόξῃ ᾗ εἶχον πρὸ τοῦ τὸν κόσμον εἶναι παρὰ σοί.
Gnostic TranslationE ora, Padre, glorificami davanti a te con quella gloria che io avevo presso di te prima che il mondo fosse.

Greekκαὶ οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ, καὶ ⸀αὐτοὶ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ εἰσίν, κἀγὼ πρὸς σὲ ἔρχομαι. πάτερ ἅγιε, τήρησον αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ᾧ δέδωκάς μοι, ἵνα ὦσιν ἓν ⸀καθὼς ἡμεῖς.
Gnostic TranslationPadre santo, custodiscili nel tuo nome, quello che mi hai dato, perché siano una cosa sola, come noi.
Orthodox ReadingHoly Father, keep them in your nameⓘ, that they may be one, as we areⓘ.

Greekοὐκ ἐρωτῶ ἵνα ἄρῃς αὐτοὺς ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου ἀλλ’ ἵνα τηρήσῃς αὐτοὺς ἐκ τοῦ πονηροῦ.
Gnostic TranslationNon prego che tu li tolga dal mondo, ma che tu li custodisca dal Maligno.
Orthodox ReadingI do not pray that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the Evil Oneⓘ.

Greek⸀πάτερ, ⸀ὃ δέδωκάς μοι, θέλω ἵνα ὅπου εἰμὶ ἐγὼ κἀκεῖνοι ὦσιν μετ’ ἐμοῦ, ἵνα θεωρῶσιν τὴν δόξαν τὴν ἐμὴν ἣν ⸀δέδωκάς μοι, ὅτι ἠγάπησάς με πρὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου.
Gnostic TranslationPadre, voglio che quelli che mi hai dato siano anch'essi con me dove sono io, perché contemplino la mia gloria, quella che tu mi hai dato, poiché mi hai amato prima della creazione del mondo.
Orthodox ReadingFather, I want that they may be with me where I am, that they may contemplate my glory, which you have given me because you have loved me before the foundation of the worldⓘ.

Gnostic TranslationE ho fatto conoscere loro il tuo nome e lo farò conoscere, perché l'amore con il quale mi hai amato sia in essi e io in loro.
