Greekοὐδέν ἐστιν ἔξωθεν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰσπορευόμενον εἰς αὐτὸν ὃ δύναται ⸂κοινῶσαι αὐτόν⸃· ἀλλὰ τὰ ⸂ἐκ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκπορευόμενά⸃ ἐστιν τὰ κοινοῦντα τὸν ⸀ἄνθρωπον.
Orthodox Readingnothing, from outside the man, entering into him can render him impure (tame)ⓘ; but the things that come out of the man, those render him impure».

Orthodox ReadingAnd Jesus says to them: «So are you also without understandingⓘ? Do you not perceive that everything which from outside enters into the man cannot render him impure,

Greekὅτι οὐκ εἰσπορεύεται αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν καρδίαν ἀλλ’ εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν, καὶ εἰς τὸν ἀφεδρῶνα ἐκπορεύεται; —⸀καθαρίζων πάντα τὰ βρώματα.
