Καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος ⸀πάλιν τὸν ὄχλον ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· ⸀Ἀκούσατέ μου πάντες καὶ ⸀σύνετε.
Chiamata di nuovo la folla, diceva loro: «Ascoltatemi tutti e comprendete bene!
And, having again called the crowd of am ha-aretz to himself (the non-observant common folk, not ḥaverim) the crowdⓘ, Jesus said to them: «Hearⓘ all of you, and understand:

οὐδέν ἐστιν ἔξωθεν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰσπορευόμενον εἰς αὐτὸν ὃ δύναται ⸂κοινῶσαι αὐτόν⸃· ἀλλὰ τὰ ⸂ἐκ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκπορευόμενά⸃ ἐστιν τὰ κοινοῦντα τὸν ⸀ἄνθρωπον.
Non c'è nulla fuori dell'uomo che, entrando in lui, possa renderlo impuro; ma sono le cose che escono dall'uomo a renderlo impuro».
nothing, from outside the man, entering into him can render him impure (tame)ⓘ; but the things that come out of the man, those render him impure».

Καὶ ὅτε εἰσῆλθεν ⸀εἰς οἶκον ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄχλου, ἐπηρώτων αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ⸂τὴν παραβολήν⸃.
Quando entrò in una casa, lontano dalla folla, i suoi discepoli lo interrogavano sulla parabola.
And when he entered the house, away from the crowd, his disciplesⓘ questioned him about the parableⓘ.

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀσύνετοί ἐστε; οὐ νοεῖτε ὅτι πᾶν τὸ ἔξωθεν εἰσπορευόμενον εἰς τὸν ἄνθρωπον οὐ δύναται αὐτὸν κοινῶσαι,
E disse loro: «Così neanche voi siete capaci di comprendere? Non capite che tutto ciò che entra nell'uomo dal di fuori non può renderlo impuro,
And Jesus says to them: «So are you also without understandingⓘ? Do you not perceive that everything which from outside enters into the man cannot render him impure,

ὅτι οὐκ εἰσπορεύεται αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν καρδίαν ἀλλ’ εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν, καὶ εἰς τὸν ἀφεδρῶνα ἐκπορεύεται; —⸀καθαρίζων πάντα τὰ βρώματα.
perché non gli entra nel cuore ma nel ventre e va a finire nella fogna?». Così rendeva puri tutti gli alimenti.
because it does not enter into his heart but into his belly, and goes out into the latrineⓘ?». Thus rendering pure all foods (kosher)ⓘ.

ἔλεγεν δὲ ὅτι Τὸ ἐκ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκεῖνο κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον·
E diceva: «Ciò che esce dall'uomo è quello che rende impuro l'uomo.
And Jesus said: «What comes out of the man, that renders the man impure.

ἔσωθεν γὰρ ἐκ τῆς καρδίας τῶν ἀνθρώπων οἱ διαλογισμοὶ οἱ κακοὶ ἐκπορεύονται, ⸂πορνεῖαι, κλοπαί, φόνοι,
Dal di dentro infatti, cioè dal cuore degli uomini, escono i propositi di male: impurità, furti, omicidi,
For from within, from the heartⓘ of men come the evil intentionsⓘ: impurity, thefts, murdersⓘ,

μοιχεῖαι⸃, πλεονεξίαι, πονηρίαι, δόλος, ἀσέλγεια, ὀφθαλμὸς πονηρός, βλασφημία, ὑπερηφανία, ἀφροσύνη·
adultèri, cupidigie, malvagità, inganno, dissolutezza, invidia, calunnia, superbia, stoltezza.
adulteries, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, evil eyeⓘ, slander, pride, follyⓘ.

πάντα ταῦτα τὰ πονηρὰ ἔσωθεν ἐκπορεύεται καὶ κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον.
Tutte queste cose cattive vengono fuori dall'interno e rendono impuro l'uomo».
All these evil things come from within and render the man impure».
