GreekΚαὶ ἤρξατο διδάσκειν αὐτοὺς ὅτι δεῖ τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου πολλὰ παθεῖν καὶ ἀποδοκιμασθῆναι ⸀ὑπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων καὶ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ τῶν γραμματέων καὶ ἀποκτανθῆναι καὶ μετὰ τρεῖς ἡμέρας ἀναστῆναι·
Orthodox ReadingAnd he began to teach them that the Son of Manⓘ mustⓘ suffer many things and be rejectedⓘ by the elders (the zeqenimⓘ), by the chief priests (the kohanimⓘ) and by the scribes (the soferimⓘ), and then be killed and, after three days, rise from deathⓘ.

Greekκαὶ παρρησίᾳ τὸν λόγον ἐλάλει. καὶ προσλαβόμενος ⸂ὁ Πέτρος αὐτὸν⸃ ἤρξατο ἐπιτιμᾶν αὐτῷ.

Greekὁ δὲ ἐπιστραφεὶς καὶ ἰδὼν τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ ἐπετίμησεν ⸀Πέτρῳ ⸂καὶ λέγει⸃· Ὕπαγε ὀπίσω μου, Σατανᾶ, ὅτι οὐ φρονεῖς τὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ἀλλὰ τὰ τῶν ἀνθρώπων.
Orthodox ReadingBut he, turning and seeing his disciplesⓘ, rebuked Peter and says to him: «Get behind me, Satanⓘ, because you do not think according to God but according to menⓘ».
