GreekΤότε ⸀ἤρξατο ὀνειδίζειν τὰς πόλεις ἐν αἷς ἐγένοντο αἱ πλεῖσται δυνάμεις αὐτοῦ, ὅτι οὐ μετενόησαν·
Gnostic TranslationAllora si mise a rimproverare le città nelle quali era avvenuta la maggior parte dei suoi prodigi, perché non si erano convertite:

GreekΟὐαί σοι, Χοραζίν· οὐαί σοι, Βηθσαϊδά· ὅτι εἰ ἐν Τύρῳ καὶ Σιδῶνι ἐγένοντο αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν ὑμῖν, πάλαι ἂν ἐν σάκκῳ καὶ σποδῷ μετενόησαν.
Gnostic Translation«Guai a te, Corazìn! Guai a te, Betsàida! Perché, se a Tiro e a Sidone fossero avvenuti i prodigi che ci sono stati in mezzo a voi, già da tempo si sarebbero convertite, vestite di sacco e coperte di cenere.
Orthodox Reading«Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaidaⓘ! If in Tyre and Sidonⓘ the mighty worksⓘ had taken place that have taken place in you, long ago they would have repentedⓘ, in sackcloth and ashesⓘ.

Greekπλὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, Τύρῳ καὶ Σιδῶνι ἀνεκτότερον ἔσται ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κρίσεως ἢ ὑμῖν.
Gnostic TranslationEbbene, io vi dico: nel giorno del giudizio Tiro e Sidone saranno trattate meno duramente di voi.
Orthodox ReadingBut I tell youⓘ: on the day of judgmentⓘ it will be more bearableⓘ for Tyre and Sidon than for you.

Greekκαὶ σύ, Καφαρναούμ, ⸂μὴ ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήσῃ⸃; ἕως ᾅδου ⸀καταβήσῃ· ὅτι εἰ ἐν Σοδόμοις ⸀ἐγενήθησαν αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν σοί, ⸀ἔμεινεν ἂν μέχρι τῆς σήμερον.
Gnostic TranslationE tu, Cafàrnao, sarai forse innalzata fino al cielo? Fino agli inferi precipiterai! Perché, se a Sòdoma fossero avvenuti i prodigi che ci sono stati in te, oggi essa esisterebbe ancora.
Orthodox ReadingAnd you, Capernaumⓘ, will you be exalted to heavenⓘ? You shall go down to the depthsⓘ! If in Sodomⓘ the mighty worksⓘ had taken place that have taken place in you, it would have remainedⓘ to this day.
