Καὶ περιῆγεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τὰς πόλεις πάσας καὶ τὰς κώμας, διδάσκων ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς αὐτῶν καὶ κηρύσσων τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς βασιλείας καὶ θεραπεύων πᾶσαν νόσον καὶ πᾶσαν ⸀μαλακίαν.
E Gesù percorreva tutte le città e i villaggi, insegnando nelle loro sinagoghe e proclamando il vangelo del Regno e curando ogni malattia e ogni infermità.
And Jesus went aboutⓘ all the cities and the villages, teachingⓘ in their synagogues synagoguesⓘ and proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdomⓘ and healingⓘ every disease and every sicknessⓘ.

Ἰδὼν δὲ τοὺς ὄχλους ἐσπλαγχνίσθη περὶ αὐτῶν ὅτι ἦσαν ἐσκυλμένοι καὶ ἐρριμμένοι ⸀ὡσεὶ πρόβατα μὴ ἔχοντα ποιμένα.
Vedendo le folle ne ebbe compassione, perché erano stanche e sfinite come pecore che non hanno pastore.
Seeing the great crowd of am ha-aretz (the non-observant common folk, devoid of halakhic guidance) am ha-aretzⓘ he was moved with compassionⓘ, because they were harassed and helplessⓘ like sheep that have no shepherdⓘ.

τότε λέγει τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ· Ὁ μὲν θερισμὸς πολύς, οἱ δὲ ἐργάται ὀλίγοι·
Allora disse ai suoi discepoli: «La messe è molta, ma gli operai sono pochi;
Then he saysⓘ to his disciplesⓘ: «The harvestⓘ is plentiful, but the laborersⓘ are few;

δεήθητε οὖν τοῦ κυρίου τοῦ θερισμοῦ ὅπως ἐκβάλῃ ἐργάτας εἰς τὸν θερισμὸν αὐτοῦ.
