Καὶ ἐξελθὼν ἐκεῖθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀνεχώρησεν εἰς τὰ μέρη Τύρου καὶ Σιδῶνος.
Partito di là, Gesù si ritirò verso la zona di Tiro e di Sidone.
And having gone out from thereⓘ, Jesus withdrewⓘ toward the regions of Tyre and Sidonⓘ.

καὶ ἰδοὺ γυνὴ Χαναναία ἀπὸ τῶν ὁρίων ἐκείνων ἐξελθοῦσα ⸀ἔκραζεν λέγουσα· Ἐλέησόν με, κύριε ⸀υἱὸς Δαυίδ· ἡ θυγάτηρ μου κακῶς δαιμονίζεται.
Ed ecco, una donna cananea, che veniva da quella regione, si mise a gridare: «Pietà di me, Signore, figlio di Davide! Mia figlia è tormentata da un demonio».
And behold, a Canaanite womanⓘ, having come outⓘ from that region, kept crying outⓘ: «Have mercyⓘ on me, Lord, son of Davidⓘ! My daughter is grievously tormented by a demonⓘ».

ὁ δὲ οὐκ ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῇ λόγον. καὶ προσελθόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ⸀ἠρώτουν αὐτὸν λέγοντες· Ἀπόλυσον αὐτήν, ὅτι κράζει ὄπισθεν ἡμῶν.
Ma egli non le rivolse neppure una parola. Allora i suoi discepoli gli si avvicinarono e lo implorarono: «Mandala via, perché ci viene dietro gridando».
But he answered her not a wordⓘ. And his disciplesⓘ, coming to him, kept entreating himⓘ, saying: «Send her awayⓘ, for she cries out behind us».

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν· Οὐκ ἀπεστάλην εἰ μὴ εἰς τὰ πρόβατα τὰ ἀπολωλότα οἴκου Ἰσραήλ.
Egli rispose: «Non sono stato mandato se non alle pecore perdute della casa d'Israele».
He answering saidⓘ: «I was not sentⓘ except to the lost sheep of the house of Israelⓘ».

ἡ δὲ ἐλθοῦσα ⸀προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγουσα· Κύριε, βοήθει μοι.
Ma quella si avvicinò e si prostrò dinanzi a lui, dicendo: «Signore, aiutami!».
But she, having come, kept prostrating herselfⓘ before him, saying: «Lord, help meⓘ!».

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν· Οὐκ ἔστιν καλὸν λαβεῖν τὸν ἄρτον τῶν τέκνων καὶ βαλεῖν τοῖς κυναρίοις.
Ed egli rispose: «Non è bene prendere il pane dei figli e gettarlo ai cagnolini».
And he answering saidⓘ: «It is not goodⓘ to take the bread of the childrenⓘ and throw it to the little dogsⓘ».

ἡ δὲ εἶπεν· Ναί, κύριε, καὶ γὰρ τὰ κυνάρια ἐσθίει ἀπὸ τῶν ψιχίων τῶν πιπτόντων ἀπὸ τῆς τραπέζης τῶν κυρίων αὐτῶν.
«È vero, Signore, disse la donna, eppure i cagnolini mangiano le briciole che cadono dalla tavola dei loro padroni».
And she said: «Yes, Lord, yet evenⓘ the little dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the table of their mastersⓘ».

τότε ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῇ· Ὦ γύναι, μεγάλη σου ἡ πίστις· γενηθήτω σοι ὡς θέλεις. καὶ ἰάθη ἡ θυγάτηρ αὐτῆς ἀπὸ τῆς ὥρας ἐκείνης.
Allora Gesù le rispose: «Donna, grande è la tua fede! Avvenga per te come desideri». E da quell'istante sua figlia fu guarita.
Then Jesus, answering, said to herⓘ: «O woman, great is your faithⓘ! Let it be done to youⓘ as you wish». And her daughter was healedⓘ from that hourⓘ.
