Gnostic TranslationGesù allora si voltò e, osservando che essi lo seguivano, disse loro: «Che cosa cercate?». Gli risposero: «Rabbì (che significa Maestro), dove dimori?».
Orthodox ReadingJesus then turned around and, seeing them following him, says to them: «What are you seeking?». They said to him: «Rabbiⓘ (which, translated, means Teacherⓘ), where are you staying?».

Orthodox ReadingJesus answered and said to him: «Because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these».

Gnostic TranslationPoi gli disse: «In verità, in verità io vi dico: vedrete il cielo aperto e gli angeli di Dio salire e scendere sopra il Figlio dell'uomo».
