Ἀναχωρησάντων δὲ αὐτῶν ἰδοὺ ἄγγελος κυρίου ⸂φαίνεται κατ’ ὄναρ⸃ τῷ Ἰωσὴφ λέγων· Ἐγερθεὶς παράλαβε τὸ παιδίον καὶ τὴν μητέρα αὐτοῦ καὶ φεῦγε εἰς Αἴγυπτον, καὶ ἴσθι ἐκεῖ ἕως ἂν εἴπω σοι· μέλλει γὰρ Ἡρῴδης ζητεῖν τὸ παιδίον τοῦ ἀπολέσαι αὐτό.
Dopo che furono partiti, ecco un angelo del Signore apparve in sogno a Giuseppe dicendo: «Àlzati, prendi il bambino e sua madre, fuggi in Egitto e rimani là finché non te lo dirò; poiché Erode sta per cercare il bambino per farlo morire».
After they had departedⓘ, behold, an angel of the Tetragrammatonⓘ appeared in a dreamⓘ to Josephⓘ saying: «Ariseⓘ, take the child and his motherⓘ, flee into Egyptⓘ and remain there until I tell youⓘ; for Herodⓘ is about to seek the child to destroy himⓘ».

ὁ δὲ ἐγερθεὶς παρέλαβε τὸ παιδίον καὶ τὴν μητέρα αὐτοῦ νυκτὸς καὶ ἀνεχώρησεν εἰς Αἴγυπτον,
Egli, alzatosi, prese di notte il bambino e sua madre e si ritirò in Egitto,
He, having arisen, took by nightⓘ the child and his mother and withdrew into Egyptⓘ,

καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ ἕως τῆς τελευτῆς Ἡρῴδου· ἵνα πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν ⸀ὑπὸ κυρίου διὰ τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος· Ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἐκάλεσα τὸν υἱόν μου.
e rimase là fino alla morte di Erode, affinché si adempisse ciò che era stato detto dal Signore per mezzo del profeta: «Dall'Egitto ho chiamato il mio figlio».
and remained there until the death of Herodⓘ, so that what had been spoken by the Tetragrammatonⓘ through the prophet might be fulfilled: «Out of Egypt I called my son»ⓘ.
