Καὶ ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος ἰδοὺ Ἰούδας εἷς τῶν δώδεκα ἦλθεν καὶ μετ’ αὐτοῦ ὄχλος πολὺς μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων ἀπὸ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ πρεσβυτέρων τοῦ λαοῦ.
Mentre ancora parlava, ecco arrivare Giuda, uno dei Dodici, e con lui una grande folla con spade e bastoni, mandata dai capi dei sacerdoti e dagli anziani del popolo.
While he was still speaking, beholdⓘ Judas came, one of the Twelve, and with him a large crowd of am ha-aretz the non-observant common folkⓘ, armed with ḥeravotⓘ and wooden clubs, sent by the chief priests (archiereîsⓘ) and the elders (zeqenimⓘ) of the people — the sanhedrial-temple leadershipⓘ.

ὁ δὲ παραδιδοὺς αὐτὸν ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς σημεῖον λέγων· Ὃν ἂν φιλήσω αὐτός ἐστιν· κρατήσατε αὐτόν.
Il traditore aveva dato loro un segno, dicendo: «Quello che bacerò, è lui; arrestatelo!».
The one who was handing him overⓘ had given them a sēmeionⓘ, saying: «The one I shall kissⓘ, he is the one; seize himⓘ!».

καὶ εὐθέως προσελθὼν τῷ Ἰησοῦ εἶπεν· Χαῖρε, ῥαββί· καὶ κατεφίλησεν αὐτόν.
Subito si avvicinò a Gesù e disse: «Salve, rabbì!». E lo baciò.
At once he approached Jesus and said: «Shalom, Ravⓘ!». And he kissed him repeatedlyⓘ.

ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Ἑταῖρε, ἐφ’ ⸀ὃ πάρει. τότε προσελθόντες ἐπέβαλον τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰησοῦν καὶ ἐκράτησαν αὐτόν.
E Gesù gli disse: «Amico, per questo sei qui!». Allora si fecero avanti, misero le mani su Gesù e lo arrestarono.
Jesus said to him: «Ḥaverⓘ, for this you are hereⓘ!». Then they came forward, laid their handsⓘ on Jesus and took him into custody.

καὶ ἰδοὺ εἷς τῶν μετὰ Ἰησοῦ ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ἀπέσπασεν τὴν μάχαιραν αὐτοῦ καὶ πατάξας τὸν δοῦλον τοῦ ἀρχιερέως ἀφεῖλεν αὐτοῦ τὸ ὠτίον.
Ed ecco, uno di quelli che erano con Gesù stese la mano, estrasse la spada e percosse il servo del sommo sacerdote, staccandogli un orecchio.
And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, drew his ḥerevⓘ and struck the servant of the high priest (kohen gadolⓘ), severing his earlobeⓘ.

τότε λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἀπόστρεψον ⸂τὴν μάχαιράν σου⸃ εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς, πάντες γὰρ οἱ λαβόντες μάχαιραν ἐν μαχαίρῃ ⸀ἀπολοῦνται·
Allora Gesù gli disse: «Rimetti la tua spada al suo posto, perché tutti quelli che prendono la spada, di spada periranno.
Then Jesus said to him: «Put your ḥerev back in its place, for all who take the ḥerev shall perish by the ḥerevⓘ.

ἢ δοκεῖς ὅτι οὐ ⸀δύναμαι παρακαλέσαι τὸν πατέρα μου, καὶ παραστήσει μοι ⸂ἄρτι πλείω⸃ δώδεκα λεγιῶνας ἀγγέλων;
O credi che io non possa pregare il Padre mio, che metterebbe subito a mia disposizione più di dodici legioni di angeli?
Or do you think that I cannot beseech Abbà-Fatherⓘ, and he would at once set beside me more than twelve legions of angelsⓘ?

πῶς οὖν πληρωθῶσιν αἱ γραφαὶ ὅτι οὕτως δεῖ γενέσθαι;
Ma allora come si compirebbero le Scritture, secondo le quali così deve avvenire?».
But then how would the Scriptures be brought to fulfillmentⓘ, according to which thus it must come to passⓘ?».

ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ὥρᾳ εἶπεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοῖς ὄχλοις· Ὡς ἐπὶ λῃστὴν ἐξήλθατε μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων συλλαβεῖν με; καθ’ ⸀ἡμέραν ⸂ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ ἐκαθεζόμην διδάσκων⸃ καὶ οὐκ ἐκρατήσατέ με.
In quel momento Gesù disse alla folla: «Come se fossi un brigante siete venuti a prendermi con spade e bastoni! Ogni giorno sedevo nel tempio a insegnare, e non mi avete arrestato».
In that hourⓘ Jesus said to the crowds: «As against a biryōnⓘ have you come out, with ḥeravot and clubs, to take me? Every day I sat in the Temple teaching the Torah I sat teachingⓘ, and you did not take me into custody.

τοῦτο δὲ ὅλον γέγονεν ἵνα πληρωθῶσιν αἱ γραφαὶ τῶν προφητῶν. τότε οἱ μαθηταὶ πάντες ἀφέντες αὐτὸν ἔφυγον.
Ma tutto questo è avvenuto perché si compissero le Scritture dei profeti. Allora tutti i discepoli lo abbandonarono e fuggirono.
But all this has come to pass so that the Scriptures of the prophets be brought to fulfillmentⓘ. Jesus hands himself over freelyⓘ». Then all the disciplesⓘ, forsaking him, fled — exact fulfillment of Zech 13,7 («I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered»), already cited in Mt 26,31.
