פתח לבנון דלתיך ותאכל אש בארזיך
Διάνοιξον, ὁ Λίβανος, τὰς θύρας σου, καὶ καταφαγέτω πῦρ τὰς κέδρους σου·
Open, O ⓘ, your gates: may fire devour your cedars!

הילל ברוש כי נפל ארז אשר אדרים שדדו הילילו אלוני בשן כי ירד יער הבצור הבציר
ὀλολυξάτω πίτυς, διότι πέπτωκεν κέδρος, ὅτι μεγάλως μεγιστᾶνες ἐταλαιπώρησαν· ὀλολύξατε, δρύες τῆς Βασανίτιδος, ὅτι κατεσπάσθη ὁ δρυμὸς ὁ σύμφυτος.
Wail, ⓘ, because the cedar has fallen, because the majestic ones are laid waste; wail, oaks of ⓘ, because the impenetrable forest is cut down.

קול יללת הרעים כי שדדה אדרתם קול שאגת כפירים כי שדד גאון הירדן
φωνὴ θρηνούντων ποιμένων, ὅτι τεταλαιπώρηκεν ἡ μεγαλωσύνη αὐτῶν· φωνὴ ὠρυομένων λεόντων, ὅτι τεταλαιπώρηκεν τὸ φρύαγμα τοῦ Ιορδάνου.
The sound of the wailing of the shepherds, because their glory is laid waste; the sound of the roaring of the young lions, because the ⓘ is laid waste.

כה אמר יהוה אלהי רעה את צאן ההרגה
τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ Ποιμαίνετε τὰ πρόβατα τῆς σφαγῆς,
Thus says the ⓘ: Shepherd the ⓘ,

אשר קניהן יהרגן ולא יאשמו ומכריהן יאמר ברוך יהוה ואעשר ורעיהם לא יחמול עליהן
ἃ οἱ κτησάμενοι κατέσφαζον καὶ οὐ μετεμέλοντο, καὶ οἱ πωλοῦντες αὐτὰ ἔλεγον Εὐλογητὸς κύριος καὶ πεπλουτήκαμεν, καὶ οἱ ποιμένες αὐτῶν οὐκ ἔπασχον οὐδὲν ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς.
those whose buyers slaughter them with no guilt, and whose sellers say: "Blessed be the Tetragrammaton, for I have grown rich!", and their shepherds have no compassion for them.

כי לא אחמול עוד על ישבי הארץ נאם יהוה והנה אנכי ממציא את האדם איש ביד רעהו וביד מלכו וכתתו את הארץ ולא אציל מידם
διὰ τοῦτο οὐ φείσομαι οὐκέτι ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν, λέγει κύριος, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραδίδωμι τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἕκαστον εἰς χεῖρας τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰς χεῖρας βασιλέως αὐτοῦ, καὶ κατακόψουσιν τὴν γῆν, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξέλωμαι ἐκ χειρὸς αὐτῶν.
Therefore I will no longer have pity on the inhabitants of the land — ⓘ of the Tetragrammaton — for behold, I am delivering the people each into the hand of his neighbor and into the hand of his king: they will lay the land waste and I will not deliver anyone from their hand.

וארעה את צאן ההרגה לכן עניי הצאן ואקח לי שני מקלות לאחד קראתי נעם ולאחד קראתי חבלים וארעה את הצאן
καὶ ποιμανῶ τὰ πρόβατα τῆς σφαγῆς εἰς τὴν Χαναανῖτιν· καὶ λήμψομαι ἐμαυτῷ δύο ῥάβδους – τὴν μίαν ἐκάλεσα Κάλλος καὶ τὴν ἑτέραν ἐκάλεσα Σχοίνισμα – καὶ ποιμανῶ τὰ πρόβατα.
And I shepherded the ⓘ, yes, the most wretched and afflicted of the flock. I took for myself two staffs: one I called ⓘ, and the other I called ⓘ, and I shepherded the flock.

ואכחד את שלשת הרעים בירח אחד ותקצר נפשי בהם וגם נפשם בחלה בי
καὶ ἐξαρῶ τοὺς τρεῖς ποιμένας ἐν μηνὶ ἑνί, καὶ βαρυνθήσεται ἡ ψυχή μου ἐπ’ αὐτούς, καὶ γὰρ αἱ ψυχαὶ αὐτῶν ἐπωρύοντο ἐπ’ ἐμέ.
In one month I removed the ⓘ; my soul grew weary of them, and their soul also abhorred me.

ואמר לא ארעה אתכם המתה תמות והנכחדת תכחד והנשארות תאכלנה אשה את בשר רעותה
καὶ εἶπα Οὐ ποιμανῶ ὑμᾶς· τὸ ἀποθνῇσκον ἀποθνῃσκέτω, καὶ τὸ ἐκλεῖπον ἐκλειπέτω, καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα κατεσθιέτωσαν ἕκαστος τὰς σάρκας τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ.
And I said: I will not shepherd you any more: let the dying die, let the perishing perish, and let those who remain devour one another's flesh.

ואקח את מקלי את נעם ואגדע אתו להפיר את בריתי אשר כרתי את כל העמים
καὶ λήμψομαι τὴν ῥάβδον μου τὴν καλὴν καὶ ἀπορρίψω αὐτὴν τοῦ διασκεδάσαι τὴν διαθήκην μου, ἣν διεθέμην πρὸς πάντας τοὺς λαούς·
I took the staff Favor and broke it, to annul my ⓘ that I had made with all the peoples;

ותפר ביום ההוא וידעו כן עניי הצאן השמרים אתי כי דבר יהוה הוא
καὶ διασκεδασθήσεται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ γνώσονται οἱ Χαναναῖοι τὰ πρόβατα τὰ φυλασσόμενα, διότι λόγος κυρίου ἐστίν.
it was broken on that day, and the ⓘ who were watching me recognized that it was the word of the Tetragrammaton.

ואמר אליהם אם טוב בעיניכם הבו שכרי ואם לא חדלו וישקלו את שכרי שלשים כסף
καὶ ἐρῶ πρὸς αὐτούς Εἰ καλὸν ἐνώπιον ὑμῶν ἐστιν, δότε στήσαντες τὸν μισθόν μου ἢ ἀπείπασθε· καὶ ἔστησαν τὸν μισθόν μου τριάκοντα ἀργυροῦς.
And I said to them: If it seems good to you, give me my ⓘ; if not, keep them. And they weighed out my wages: ⓘ.

ויאמר יהוה אלי השליכהו אל היוצר אדר היקר אשר יקרתי מעליהם ואקחה שלשים הכסף ואשליך אתו בית יהוה אל היוצר
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με Κάθες αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ χωνευτήριον, καὶ σκέψαι εἰ δόκιμόν ἐστιν, ὃν τρόπον ἐδοκιμάσθην ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν. καὶ ἔλαβον τοὺς τριάκοντα ἀργυροῦς καὶ ἐνέβαλον αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν οἶκον κυρίου εἰς τὸ χωνευτήριον.
And the Tetragrammaton said to me: Throw it to the ⓘ — the magnificent price at which I was valued by them! I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them, in the house of the Tetragrammaton, to the potter.

ואגדע את מקלי השני את החבלים להפר את האחוה בין יהודה ובין ישראל
καὶ ἀπέρριψα τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν δευτέραν, τὸ Σχοίνισμα, τοῦ διασκεδάσαι τὴν κατάσχεσιν ἀνὰ μέσον Ιουδα καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ Ισραηλ.
Then I broke the second staff, Bonds, to break the ⓘ between Judah and Israel.

ויאמר יהוה אלי עוד קח לך כלי רעה אולי
Καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με Ἔτι λαβὲ σεαυτῷ σκεύη ποιμενικὰ ποιμένος ἀπείρου.
And the Tetragrammaton said to me: Take again the implements of a ⓘ:

כי הנה אנכי מקים רעה בארץ הנכחדות לא יפקד הנער לא יבקש והנשברת לא ירפא הנצבה לא יכלכל ובשר הבריאה יאכל ופרסיהן יפרק
διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐξεγείρω ποιμένα ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν· τὸ ἐκλιμπάνον οὐ μὴ ἐπισκέψηται καὶ τὸ διεσκορπισμένον οὐ μὴ ζητήσῃ καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον οὐ μὴ ἰάσηται καὶ τὸ ὁλόκληρον οὐ μὴ κατευθύνῃ καὶ τὰ κρέα τῶν ἐκλεκτῶν καταφάγεται καὶ τοὺς ἀστραγάλους αὐτῶν ἐκστρέψει.
for behold, I am raising up in the land a shepherd who will not care for the lost, will not seek the straying, will not heal the injured, will not sustain the healthy, but will eat the flesh of the fat sheep and will tear off even their hoofs.

הוי רעי האליל עזבי הצאן חרב על זרועו ועל עין ימינו זרעו יבוש תיבש ועין ימינו כהה תכהה
ὦ οἱ ποιμαίνοντες τὰ μάταια καὶ οἱ καταλελοιπότες τὰ πρόβατα· μάχαιρα ἐπὶ τοὺς βραχίονας αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν ὀφθαλμὸν τὸν δεξιὸν αὐτοῦ· ὁ βραχίων αὐτοῦ ξηραινόμενος ξηρανθήσεται, καὶ ὁ ὀφθαλμὸς ὁ δεξιὸς αὐτοῦ ἐκτυφλούμενος ἐκτυφλωθήσεται.
ⓘ to the ⓘ who abandons the flock! The sword upon his arm and upon his right eye: let his arm wither completely, let his right eye be utterly blinded.
