משא דבר יהוה בארץ חדרך ודמשק מנחתו כי ליהוה עין אדם וכל שבטי ישראל
Λῆμμα λόγου κυρίου· ἐν γῇ Σεδραχ καὶ Δαμασκοῦ θυσία αὐτοῦ, διότι κύριος ἐφορᾷ ἀνθρώπους καὶ πάσας φυλὰς τοῦ Ισραηλ.
ⓘ in the land of ⓘ — and ⓘ shall be its resting place —, for to the Tetragrammaton belong the eye of man and of all the tribes of Israel,

וגם חמת תגבל בה צר וצידון כי חכמה מאד
καὶ Εμαθ ἐν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς, Τύρος καὶ Σιδών, διότι ἐφρόνησαν σφόδρα.
and also ⓘ which borders it, ⓘ and ⓘ, for she has considered herself exceedingly wise.

ותבן צר מצור לה ותצבר כסף כעפר וחרוץ כטיט חוצות
καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν Τύρος ὀχυρώματα ἑαυτῇ καὶ ἐθησαύρισεν ἀργύριον ὡς χοῦν καὶ συνήγαγεν χρυσίον ὡς πηλὸν ὁδῶν.
And Tzòr has built herself a ⓘ, has heaped up silver like dust and fine gold like the mud of the streets.

הנה אדני יורשנה והכה בים חילה והיא באש תאכל
διὰ τοῦτο κύριος κληρονομήσει αὐτὴν καὶ πατάξει εἰς θάλασσαν δύναμιν αὐτῆς, καὶ αὕτη ἐν πυρὶ καταναλωθήσεται.
Behold, ⓘ shall dispossess her, shall cast her power into the sea, and she shall be devoured by fire.

תרא אשקלון ותירא ועזה ותחיל מאד ועקרון כי הביש מבטה ואבד מלך מעזה ואשקלון לא תשב
ὄψεται Ἀσκαλὼν καὶ φοβηθήσεται, καὶ Γάζα καὶ ὀδυνηθήσεται σφόδρα, καὶ Ακκαρων, ὅτι ᾐσχύνθη ἐπὶ τῷ παραπτώματι αὐτῆς· καὶ ἀπολεῖται βασιλεὺς ἐκ Γάζης, καὶ Ἀσκαλὼν οὐ μὴ κατοικηθῇ.
ⓘ shall see it and be afraid, and ʿAzzàh shall be in great anguish, and ʿEqròn too, for her ⓘ has dried up; and the king shall perish from ʿAzzàh, and Ashkelòn shall not be inhabited.

וישב ממזר באשדוד והכרתי גאון פלשתים
καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἀλλογενεῖς ἐν Ἀζώτῳ, καὶ καθελῶ ὕβριν ἀλλοφύλων.
And a ⓘ shall dwell in Ashdòd, and I shall cut off the pride of the ⓘ.

והסרתי דמיו מפיו ושקציו מבין שניו ונשאר גם הוא לאלהינו והיה כאלף ביהודה ועקרון כיבוסי
καὶ ἐξαρῶ τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν ἐκ στόματος αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ βδελύγματα αὐτῶν ἐκ μέσου ὀδόντων αὐτῶν, καὶ ὑπολειφθήσεται καὶ οὗτος τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν, καὶ ἔσονται ὡς χιλίαρχος ἐν Ιουδα καὶ Ακκαρων ὡς ὁ Ιεβουσαῖος.
And I shall take away his blood from his mouth and his ⓘ from between his teeth, and he too shall remain as a remnant for our God: he shall be like a ⓘ in Yehudàh, and ʿEqròn like the ⓘ.

וחניתי לביתי מצבה מעבר ומשב ולא יעבר עליהם עוד נגש כי עתה ראיתי בעיני
καὶ ὑποστήσομαι τῷ οἴκῳ μου ἀνάστημα τοῦ μὴ διαπορεύεσθαι μηδὲ ἀνακάμπτειν, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐπέλθῃ ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς οὐκέτι ἐξελαύνων, διότι νῦν ἑώρακα ἐν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς μου.
And I shall encamp as a guard for my house against those who pass back and forth, and no oppressor shall pass over them again, for now I have seen with my own eyes.

גילי מאד בת ציון הריעי בת ירושלם הנה מלכך יבוא לך צדיק ונושע הוא עני ורכב על חמור ועל עיר בן אתנות
Χαῖρε σφόδρα, θύγατερ Σιων· κήρυσσε, θύγατερ Ιερουσαλημ· ἰδοὺ ὁ βασιλεύς σου ἔρχεταί σοι, δίκαιος καὶ σῴζων αὐτός, πραὺς καὶ ἐπιβεβηκὼς ἐπὶ ὑποζύγιον καὶ πῶλον νέον.
ⓘ! Shout aloud, daughter of Yerushalàyim! Behold, your king comes to you, ⓘ, humble he is, and riding upon a donkey, upon a ⓘ.

והכרתי רכב מאפרים וסוס מירושלם ונכרתה קשת מלחמה ודבר שלום לגוים ומשלו מים עד ים ומנהר עד אפסי ארץ
καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσει ἅρματα ἐξ Εφραιμ καὶ ἵππον ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ, καὶ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται τόξον πολεμικόν, καὶ πλῆθος καὶ εἰρήνη ἐξ ἐθνῶν· καὶ κατάρξει ὑδάτων ἕως θαλάσσης καὶ ποταμῶν διεκβολὰς γῆς.
And ⓘ the chariot from Efràim and the horse from Yerushalàyim, and the war-bow shall be cut off; and he shall speak ⓘ to the nations, and his dominion shall extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

גם את בדם בריתך שלחתי אסיריך מבור אין מים בו
καὶ σὺ ἐν αἵματι διαθήκης ἐξαπέστειλας δεσμίους σου ἐκ λάκκου οὐκ ἔχοντος ὕδωρ.
As for you too — ⓘ — I have set free your prisoners from the ⓘ.

שובו לבצרון אסירי התקוה גם היום מגיד משנה אשיב לך
καθήσεσθε ἐν ὀχυρώματι, δέσμιοι τῆς συναγωγῆς, καὶ ἀντὶ μιᾶς ἡμέρας παροικεσίας σου διπλᾶ ἀνταποδώσω σοι·
Return to the ⓘ, ⓘ! Even today I declare: I will render double to you.

כי דרכתי לי יהודה קשת מלאתי אפרים ועוררתי בניך ציון על בניך יון ושמתיך כחרב גבור
διότι ἐνέτεινά σε, Ιουδα, ἐμαυτῷ τόξον, ἔπλησα τὸν Εφραιμ καὶ ἐπεγερῶ τὰ τέκνα σου, Σιων, ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα τῶν Ἑλλήνων καὶ ψηλαφήσω σε ὡς ῥομφαίαν μαχητοῦ·
For I have bent Yehudàh for myself like a bow, I have filled Efràim, and I have roused your sons, O Tziòn, against your sons, ⓘ, and I have made you like the sword of a warrior.

ויהוה עליהם יראה ויצא כברק חצו ואדני יהוה בשופר יתקע והלך בסערות תימן
καὶ κύριος ἔσται ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐξελεύσεται ὡς ἀστραπὴ βολίς, καὶ κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐν σάλπιγγι σαλπιεῖ καὶ πορεύσεται ἐν σάλῳ ἀπειλῆς αὐτοῦ.
And ⓘ shall appear over them, and his arrow shall go forth like lightning; and ⓘ shall sound the ⓘ, and shall march out in the storm-winds of the south.

יהוה צבאות יגן עליהם ואכלו וכבשו אבני קלע ושתו המו כמו יין ומלאו כמזרק כזויות מזבח
κύριος παντοκράτωρ ὑπερασπιεῖ αὐτῶν, καὶ καταναλώσουσιν αὐτοὺς καὶ καταχώσουσιν αὐτοὺς ἐν λίθοις σφενδόνης καὶ ἐκπίονται αὐτοὺς ὡς οἶνον καὶ πλήσουσιν ὡς φιάλας θυσιαστήριον.
ⓘ shall shield them, and they shall devour and shall tread down the sling-stones, and they shall drink and make a tumult as if from wine, and they shall be filled like the ⓘ, like the corners of the altar.

והושיעם יהוה אלהיהם ביום ההוא כצאן עמו כי אבני נזר מתנוססות על אדמתו
καὶ σώσει αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ, ὡς πρόβατα λαὸν αὐτοῦ, διότι λίθοι ἅγιοι κυλίονται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ.
And the Tetragrammaton their God shall save them in that day, as the flock of his people, for ⓘ sparkle over his land.
17
כי מה טובו ומה יפיו דגן בחורים ותירוש ינובב בתלות
ὅτι εἴ τι ἀγαθὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ εἴ τι καλὸν παρ’ αὐτοῦ, σῖτος νεανίσκοις καὶ οἶνος εὐωδιάζων εἰς παρθένους.
How great his goodness and how great his beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish and ⓘ the maidens.
