ובשנים עשר חדש הוא חדש אדר בשלושה עשר יום בו אשר הגיע דבר המלך ודתו להעשות ביום אשר שברו איבי היהודים לשלוט בהם ונהפוך הוא אשר ישלטו היהודים המה בשנאיהם
Ἐν γὰρ τῷ δωδεκάτῳ μηνὶ τρισκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνός, ὅς ἐστιν Αδαρ, παρῆν τὰ γράμματα τὰ γραφέντα ὑπὸ τοῦ βασιλέως.
In the twelfth month — that is, the month of Adàrⓘ — on the thirteenth of the month, when the king's word and his edictⓘ arrived to be carried out, on the day when the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, it was reversedⓘ: it was the Jews who overpowered their adversaries.

נקהלו היהודים בעריהם בכל מדינות המלך אחשורוש לשלח יד במבקשי רעתם ואיש לא עמד לפניהם כי נפל פחדם על כל העמים
ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἀπώλοντο οἱ ἀντικείμενοι τοῖς Ιουδαίοις· οὐδεὶς γὰρ ἀντέστη φοβούμενος αὐτούς.
The Jews gathered in their cities throughout all the provincesⓘ of King Ahasuerusⓘ, to lay their hand against those who sought their ruin; and no oneⓘ stood against them, for their fearⓘ had fallen upon all the peoples.

וכל שרי המדינות והאחשדרפנים והפחות ועשי המלאכה אשר למלך מנשאים את היהודים כי נפל פחד מרדכי עליהם
οἱ γὰρ ἄρχοντες τῶν σατραπῶν καὶ οἱ τύραννοι καὶ οἱ βασιλικοὶ γραμματεῖς ἐτίμων τοὺς Ιουδαίους· ὁ γὰρ φόβος Μαρδοχαίου ἐνέκειτο αὐτοῖς.
And all the provincial chiefs, the satrapsⓘ, the governors and all who administered the king's affairs honored the Jews, for the fear of Mordecaiⓘ had fallen upon them.

כי גדול מרדכי בבית המלך ושמעו הולך בכל המדינות כי האיש מרדכי הולך וגדול
προσέπεσεν γὰρ τὸ πρόσταγμα τοῦ βασιλέως ὀνομασθῆναι ἐν πάσῃ τῇ βασιλείᾳ.
Mordecaiⓘ was indeed great in the house of the king, and his fameⓘ spread through all the provinces: for that man, Mordecai, was growing ever greater.
