ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר
Καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
And there came ⓘ of the Tetragrammaton to me, saying:

בן אדם הנבא על רועי ישראל הנבא ואמרת אליהם לרעים כה אמר אדני יהוה הוי רעי ישראל אשר היו רעים אותם הלוא הצאן ירעו הרעים
Υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας τοῦ Ισραηλ, προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπὸν τοῖς ποιμέσι Τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ὦ ποιμένες Ισραηλ, μὴ βόσκουσιν ποιμένες ἑαυτούς; οὐ τὰ πρόβατα βόσκουσιν οἱ ποιμένες;
«ⓘ, prophesy against the ⓘ, prophesy and say to them, to the shepherds: Thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton: ⓘ to the shepherds of Israèl who ⓘ! Is it not the flock that the shepherds should pasture?

את החלב תאכלו ואת הצמר תלבשו הבריאה תזבחו הצאן לא תרעו
ἰδοὺ τὸ γάλα κατέσθετε καὶ τὰ ἔρια περιβάλλεσθε καὶ τὸ παχὺ σφάζετε καὶ τὰ πρόβατά μου οὐ βόσκετε·
The ⓘ you eat, with wool you clothe yourselves, you slaughter the fattest; the flock you do not pasture.

את הנחלות לא חזקתם ואת החולה לא רפאתם ולנשברת לא חבשתם ואת הנדחת לא השבתם ואת האבדת לא בקשתם ובחזקה רדיתם אתם ובפרך
τὸ ἠσθενηκὸς οὐκ ἐνισχύσατε καὶ τὸ κακῶς ἔχον οὐκ ἐσωματοποιήσατε καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον οὐ κατεδήσατε καὶ τὸ πλανώμενον οὐκ ἐπεστρέψατε καὶ τὸ ἀπολωλὸς οὐκ ἐζητήσατε καὶ τὸ ἰσχυρὸν κατειργάσασθε μόχθῳ.
The ⓘ you did not strengthen, the sick you did not heal, the ⓘ you did not bind up, the strayed you did not bring back, the lost you did not seek; and ⓘ you ruled over them.

ותפוצינה מבלי רעה ותהיינה לאכלה לכל חית השדה ותפוצינה
καὶ διεσπάρη τὰ πρόβατά μου διὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ποιμένας καὶ ἐγενήθη εἰς κατάβρωμα πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τοῦ ἀγροῦ·
And they were scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became ⓘ for every ⓘ.

ישגו צאני בכל ההרים ועל כל גבעה רמה ועל כל פני הארץ נפצו צאני ואין דורש ואין מבקש
καὶ διεσπάρη μου τὰ πρόβατα ἐν παντὶ ὄρει καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν βουνὸν ὑψηλὸν καὶ ἐπὶ προσώπου πάσης τῆς γῆς διεσπάρη, καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἐκζητῶν οὐδὲ ὁ ἀποστρέφων.
My sheep wander upon every mountain, upon every high hill; over the whole face of the earth they are scattered, and no one ⓘ them, no one calls them back.»

לכן רעים שמעו את דבר יהוה
διὰ τοῦτο, ποιμένες, ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου
Therefore, shepherds, hear the ⓘ:
8
חי אני נאם אדני יהוה אם לא יען היות צאני לבז ותהיינה צאני לאכלה לכל חית השדה מאין רעה ולא דרשו רעי את צאני וירעו הרעים אותם ואת צאני לא רעו
Ζῶ ἐγώ, λέγει κύριος κύριος, εἰ μὴν ἀντὶ τοῦ γενέσθαι τὰ πρόβατά μου εἰς προνομὴν καὶ γενέσθαι τὰ πρόβατά μου εἰς κατάβρωμα πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τοῦ πεδίου παρὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ποιμένας, καὶ οὐκ ἐξεζήτησαν οἱ ποιμένες τὰ πρόβατά μου, καὶ ἐβόσκησαν οἱ ποιμένες ἑαυτούς, τὰ δὲ πρόβατά μου οὐκ ἐβόσκησαν,
«ⓘ, oracle of the Lord Tetragrammaton: because my flock has become prey and food for every beast of the field, for lack of a shepherd, and my shepherds have not sought my flock, but the shepherds pastured themselves and did not pasture my flock,

לכן הרעים שמעו דבר יהוה
ἀντὶ τούτου, ποιμένες,
therefore, shepherds, hear the word of the Tetragrammaton:
10
כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אל הרעים ודרשתי את צאני מידם והשבתים מרעות צאן ולא ירעו עוד הרעים אותם והצלתי צאני מפיהם ולא תהיין להם לאכלה
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας καὶ ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀποστρέψω αὐτοὺς τοῦ μὴ ποιμαίνειν τὰ πρόβατά μου, καὶ οὐ βοσκήσουσιν ἔτι οἱ ποιμένες αὐτά· καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι τὰ πρόβατά μου ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτῶν, καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται αὐτοῖς ἔτι εἰς κατάβρωμα.
ⓘ! ⓘ of my flock from their hand; I will make them cease from pasturing the flock, and the shepherds shall no longer pasture themselves; ⓘ and they shall no longer be their food.

כי כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אני ודרשתי את צאני ובקרתים
διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐπισκέψομαι αὐτά.
For thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton: ⓘ and will care for it.

כבקרת רעה עדרו ביום היותו בתוך צאנו נפרשות כן אבקר את צאני והצלתי אתהם מכל המקומת אשר נפצו שם ביום ענן וערפל
ὥσπερ ζητεῖ ὁ ποιμὴν τὸ ποίμνιον αὐτοῦ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ, ὅταν ᾖ γνόφος καὶ νεφέλη ἐν μέσῳ προβάτων διακεχωρισμένων, οὕτως ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἀπελάσω αὐτὰ ἀπὸ παντὸς τόπου, οὗ διεσπάρησαν ἐκεῖ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ νεφέλης καὶ γνόφου.
As a shepherd ⓘ his flock on the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will seek my flock and will deliver it from every place where it was scattered ⓘ.

והוצאתים מן העמים וקבצתים מן הארצות והביאתים אל אדמתם ורעיתים אל הרי ישראל באפיקים ובכל מושבי הארץ
καὶ ἐξάξω αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τῶν χωρῶν καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν καὶ βοσκήσω αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν ταῖς φάραγξιν καὶ ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ τῆς γῆς·
And I will bring it out from the peoples, gather it from the lands, lead it ⓘ, and pasture it on the mountains of Israèl, in the ravines and in every habitation of the land.

במרעה טוב ארעה אתם ובהרי מרום ישראל יהיה נוהם שם תרבצנה בנוה טוב ומרעה שמן תרעינה אל הרי ישראל
ἐν νομῇ ἀγαθῇ βοσκήσω αὐτούς, καὶ ἐν τῷ ὄρει τῷ ὑψηλῷ Ισραηλ ἔσονται αἱ μάνδραι αὐτῶν· ἐκεῖ κοιμηθήσονται καὶ ἐκεῖ ἀναπαύσονται ἐν τρυφῇ ἀγαθῇ καὶ ἐν νομῇ πίονι βοσκηθήσονται ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων Ισραηλ.
In good pasture I will pasture them, and on the high mountains of Israèl shall be their ⓘ; there they shall lie down in a good fold, and they shall pasture on rich grazing ground on the mountains of Israèl.

אני ארעה צאני ואני ארביצם נאם אדני יהוה
ἐγὼ βοσκήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐγὼ ἀναπαύσω αὐτά, καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος. τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος
ⓘ, oracle of the Lord Tetragrammaton.

את האבדת אבקש ואת הנדחת אשיב ולנשברת אחבש ואת החולה אחזק ואת השמנה ואת החזקה אשמיד ארענה במשפט
Τὸ ἀπολωλὸς ζητήσω καὶ τὸ πλανώμενον ἐπιστρέψω καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον καταδήσω καὶ τὸ ἐκλεῖπον ἐνισχύσω καὶ τὸ ἰσχυρὸν φυλάξω καὶ βοσκήσω αὐτὰ μετὰ κρίματος.
The lost I will seek, the strayed I will bring back, the broken I will bind up, the weak I will strengthen; but the fat and the strong I will ⓘ: I will pasture them with ⓘ.

ואתנה צאני כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני שפט בין שה לשה לאילים ולעתודים
καὶ ὑμεῖς, πρόβατα, τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ διακρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου καὶ προβάτου, κριῶν καὶ τράγων·
And as for you, my flock, thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton: Behold, I will judge ⓘ, between rams and ⓘ.

המעט מכם המרעה הטוב תרעו ויתר מרעיכם תרמסו ברגליכם ומשקע מים תשתו ואת הנותרים ברגליכם תרפשון
καὶ οὐχ ἱκανὸν ὑμῖν ὅτι τὴν καλὴν νομὴν ἐνέμεσθε, καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα τῆς νομῆς ὑμῶν κατεπατεῖτε τοῖς ποσὶν ὑμῶν· καὶ τὸ καθεστηκὸς ὕδωρ ἐπίνετε καὶ τὸ λοιπὸν τοῖς ποσὶν ὑμῶν ἐταράσσετε·
Is it too little for you to pasture on good pasture? The rest of the pasture you trample with your feet; you drink clear water, and the rest you ⓘ with your feet!

וצאני מרמס רגליכם תרעינה ומרפש רגליכם תשתינה
καὶ τὰ πρόβατά μου τὰ πατήματα τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἐνέμοντο καὶ τὸ τεταραγμένον ὕδωρ ὑπὸ τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἔπινον.
And my flock must pasture what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have muddied!
20
לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה אליהם הנני אני ושפטתי בין שה בריה ובין שה רזה
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ διακρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου ἰσχυροῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου ἀσθενοῦς.
Therefore thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton to them: Behold, I will judge between ⓘ.
21
יען בצד ובכתף תהדפו ובקרניכם תנגחו כל הנחלות עד אשר הפיצותם אותנה אל החוצה
ἐπὶ ταῖς πλευραῖς καὶ τοῖς ὤμοις ὑμῶν διωθεῖσθε καὶ τοῖς κέρασιν ὑμῶν ἐκερατίζετε καὶ πᾶν τὸ ἐκλεῖπον ἐξεθλίβετε.
Because with flank and shoulder ⓘ and with your horns ⓘ all the weak until you had driven them out,
22
והושעתי לצאני ולא תהיינה עוד לבז ושפטתי בין שה לשה
καὶ σώσω τὰ πρόβατά μου, καὶ οὐ μὴ ὦσιν ἔτι εἰς προνομήν, καὶ κρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον κριοῦ πρὸς κριόν.
I will save my flock and it shall no longer be prey, and I will judge between sheep and sheep.
23
והקמתי עליהם רעה אחד ורעה אתהן את עבדי דויד הוא ירעה אתם והוא יהיה להן לרעה
καὶ ἀναστήσω ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς ποιμένα ἕνα καὶ ποιμανεῖ αὐτούς, τὸν δοῦλόν μου Δαυιδ, καὶ ἔσται αὐτῶν ποιμήν·
And ⓘ, and he will pasture them: my ⓘ; he will pasture them and he will be their shepherd.
24
ואני יהוה אהיה להם לאלהים ועבדי דוד נשיא בתוכם אני יהוה דברתי
καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ἔσομαι αὐτοῖς εἰς θεόν, καὶ Δαυιδ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ἄρχων· ἐγὼ κύριος ἐλάλησα.
And I, the Tetragrammaton, will be their God, and my servant Davìd ⓘ in their midst; I, the Tetragrammaton, have spoken.
25
וכרתי להם ברית שלום והשבתי חיה רעה מן הארץ וישבו במדבר לבטח וישנו ביערים
καὶ διαθήσομαι τῷ Δαυιδ διαθήκην εἰρήνης καὶ ἀφανιῶ θηρία πονηρὰ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς, καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ ὑπνώσουσιν ἐν τοῖς δρυμοῖς.
And I will cut for them a ⓘ, and I will make the evil beast cease from the land; they will dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forests.
26
ונתתי אותם וסביבות גבעתי ברכה והורדתי הגשם בעתו גשמי ברכה יהיו
καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς περικύκλῳ τοῦ ὄρους μου· καὶ δώσω τὸν ὑετὸν ὑμῖν, ὑετὸν εὐλογίας.
And I will grant them and the surroundings of my hill a blessing; I will send down the rain in its season, ⓘ.
27
ונתן עץ השדה את פריו והארץ תתן יבולה והיו על אדמתם לבטח וידעו כי אני יהוה בשברי את מטות עלם והצלתים מיד העבדים בהם
καὶ τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ δώσει τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῶν, καὶ ἡ γῆ δώσει τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτῆς, καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν ἐν ἐλπίδι εἰρήνης, καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τῷ συντρῖψαί με τὸν ζυγὸν αὐτῶν· καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρὸς τῶν καταδουλωσαμένων αὐτούς.
And the tree of the field will yield its fruit, the earth will yield its produce, and they will be secure on their soil, and they will know that I am the Tetragrammaton when I break ⓘ and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
28
ולא יהיו עוד בז לגוים וחית הארץ לא תאכלם וישבו לבטח ואין מחריד
καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι ἐν προνομῇ τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, καὶ τὰ θηρία τῆς γῆς οὐκέτι μὴ φάγωσιν αὐτούς· καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν ἐλπίδι, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ ἐκφοβῶν αὐτούς.
And they shall no longer be prey for the nations, nor shall the beast of the earth devour them; they shall dwell securely, with ⓘ.
29
והקמתי להם מטע לשם ולא יהיו עוד אספי רעב בארץ ולא ישאו עוד כלמת הגוים
καὶ ἀναστήσω αὐτοῖς φυτὸν εἰρήνης, καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται ἀπολλύμενοι λιμῷ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐνέγκωσιν ἔτι ὀνειδισμὸν ἐθνῶν.
And I will raise up for them a ⓘ, and they shall no longer be consumed by famine in the land, nor shall they bear the reproach of the nations any longer.
30
וידעו כי אני יהוה אלהיהם אתם והמה עמי בית ישראל נאם אדני יהוה
καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτῶν, καὶ αὐτοὶ λαός μου οἶκος Ισραηλ, λέγει κύριος.
And they will know that I, the Tetragrammaton their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israèl, are my people, oracle of the Lord Tetragrammaton.
31
ואתן צאני צאן מרעיתי אדם אתם אני אלהיכם נאם אדני יהוה
πρόβατά μου καὶ πρόβατα ποιμνίου μού ἐστε, καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν, λέγει κύριος κύριος.
And you, my flock, the flock of my pasture, ⓘ; I am your God, oracle of the Lord Tetragrammaton.
