היתה עלי יד יהוה ויוצאני ברוח יהוה ויניחני בתוך הבקעה והיא מלאה עצמות
Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐπ’ ἐμὲ χεὶρ κυρίου, καὶ ἐξήγαγέν με ἐν πνεύματι κύριος καὶ ἔθηκέν με ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ πεδίου, καὶ τοῦτο ἦν μεστὸν ὀστέων ἀνθρωπίνων·
The ⓘ was upon me; the Tetragrammaton led him out ⓘ and set him down in the midst of the ⓘ: it was full of bones.

והעבירני עליהם סביב סביב והנה רבות מאד על פני הבקעה והנה יבשות מאד
καὶ περιήγαγέν με ἐπ’ αὐτὰ κυκλόθεν κύκλῳ, καὶ ἰδοὺ πολλὰ σφόδρα ἐπὶ προσώπου τοῦ πεδίου, ξηρὰ σφόδρα.
He made me pass all around them: they were ⓘ on the face of the valley, and ⓘ.

ויאמר אלי בן אדם התחיינה העצמות האלה ואמר אדני יהוה אתה ידעת
καὶ εἶπεν πρός με Υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, εἰ ζήσεται τὰ ὀστᾶ ταῦτα; καὶ εἶπα Κύριε, σὺ ἐπίστῃ ταῦτα.
And he said to me: ⓘ, will these bones live? I said: Lord Tetragrammaton, you know.

ויאמר אלי הנבא על העצמות האלה ואמרת אליהם העצמות היבשות שמעו דבר יהוה
καὶ εἶπεν πρός με Προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ ταῦτα καὶ ἐρεῖς αὐτοῖς Τὰ ὀστᾶ τὰ ξηρά, ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου
And he said to me: Prophesy over these bones and say to them: Dry bones, hear the ⓘ!

כה אמר אדני יהוה לעצמות האלה הנה אני מביא בכם רוח וחייתם
Τάδε λέγει κύριος τοῖς ὀστέοις τούτοις Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ φέρω εἰς ὑμᾶς πνεῦμα ζωῆς
Thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton to these bones: Behold, I cause the ⓘ to enter into you, and you shall live:

ונתתי עליכם גדים והעלתי עליכם בשר וקרמתי עליכם עור ונתתי בכם רוח וחייתם וידעתם כי אני יהוה
καὶ δώσω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς νεῦρα καὶ ἀνάξω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς σάρκας καὶ ἐκτενῶ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς δέρμα καὶ δώσω πνεῦμά μου εἰς ὑμᾶς, καὶ ζήσεσθε· καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος.
I will lay ⓘ upon you, and cause flesh to come up, and spread skin over you, and put the breath-spirit within you, and you shall live; and ⓘ.

ונבאתי כאשר צויתי ויהי קול כהנבאי והנה רעש ותקרבו עצמות עצם אל עצמו
καὶ ἐπροφήτευσα καθὼς ἐνετείλατό μοι. καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐμὲ προφητεῦσαι καὶ ἰδοὺ σεισμός, καὶ προσήγαγε τὰ ὀστᾶ ἑκάτερον πρὸς τὴν ἁρμονίαν αὐτοῦ.
I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied there was a ⓘ, a ⓘ, and the bones came together, ⓘ.

וראיתי והנה עליהם גדים ובשר עלה ויקרם עליהם עור מלמעלה ורוח אין בהם
καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐπ’ αὐτὰ νεῦρα καὶ σάρκες ἐφύοντο, καὶ ἀνέβαινεν ἐπ’ αὐτὰ δέρμα ἐπάνω, καὶ πνεῦμα οὐκ ἦν ἐν αὐτοῖς.
I looked: behold, sinews and flesh had come upon them, and skin covered them, but ⓘ.

ויאמר אלי הנבא אל הרוח הנבא בן אדם ואמרת אל הרוח כה אמר אדני יהוה מארבע רוחות באי הרוח ופחי בהרוגים האלה ויחיו
καὶ εἶπεν πρός με Προφήτευσον, υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τὸ πνεῦμα καὶ εἰπὸν τῷ πνεύματι Τάδε λέγει κύριος Ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων πνευμάτων ἐλθὲ καὶ ἐμφύσησον εἰς τοὺς νεκροὺς τούτους, καὶ ζησάτωσαν.
And he said to me: Prophesy to the breath-spirit, son of man, say to the breath-spirit: Thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton: Come from the ⓘ, O breath-spirit, and breathe upon these ⓘ, that they may live!

והנבאתי כאשר צוני ותבוא בהם הרוח ויחיו ויעמדו על רגליהם חיל גדול מאד מאד
καὶ ἐπροφήτευσα καθότι ἐνετείλατό μοι· καὶ εἰσῆλθεν εἰς αὐτοὺς τὸ πνεῦμα, καὶ ἔζησαν καὶ ἔστησαν ἐπὶ τῶν ποδῶν αὐτῶν, συναγωγὴ πολλὴ σφόδρα.
I prophesied as I was commanded: the breath-spirit entered into them, they lived and stood upon their feet, ⓘ.

ויאמר אלי בן אדם העצמות האלה כל בית ישראל המה הנה אמרים יבשו עצמותינו ואבדה תקותנו נגזרנו לנו
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρός με λέγων Υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, τὰ ὀστᾶ ταῦτα πᾶς οἶκος Ισραηλ ἐστίν, καὶ αὐτοὶ λέγουσιν Ξηρὰ γέγονεν τὰ ὀστᾶ ἡμῶν, ἀπόλωλεν ἡ ἐλπὶς ἡμῶν, διαπεφωνήκαμεν.
And he said to me: Son of man, these bones are ⓘ; behold, they say: «Our bones are dried up, our hope is lost, ⓘ».

לכן הנבא ואמרת אליהם כה אמר אדני יהוה הנה אני פתח את קברותיכם והעליתי אתכם מקברותיכם עמי והבאתי אתכם אל אדמת ישראל
διὰ τοῦτο προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπόν Τάδε λέγει κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀνοίγω ὑμῶν τὰ μνήματα καὶ ἀνάξω ὑμᾶς ἐκ τῶν μνημάτων ὑμῶν καὶ εἰσάξω ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ,
Therefore prophesy: Thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton: Behold, I open your ⓘ, I raise you up from the graves, O ⓘ, and I bring you into the land of Israel;

וידעתם כי אני יהוה בפתחי את קברותיכם ובהעלותי אתכם מקברותיכם עמי
καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τῷ ἀνοῖξαί με τοὺς τάφους ὑμῶν τοῦ ἀναγαγεῖν με ἐκ τῶν τάφων τὸν λαόν μου.
you shall know that I am the Tetragrammaton, when I open your graves and bring you up from them, my people.

ונתתי רוחי בכם וחייתם והנחתי אתכם על אדמתכם וידעתם כי אני יהוה דברתי ועשיתי נאם יהוה
καὶ δώσω τὸ πνεῦμά μου εἰς ὑμᾶς, καὶ ζήσεσθε, καὶ θήσομαι ὑμᾶς ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ὑμῶν, καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα καὶ ποιήσω, λέγει κύριος.
I will put my breath-spirit within you and you shall live, and I will settle you on your ⓘ; you shall know that I, the Tetragrammaton, have spoken and have done it — ⓘ.

ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר
Καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
And the word of the Tetragrammaton came to me:
16
ואתה בן אדם קח לך עץ אחד וכתב עליו ליהודה ולבני ישראל חברו חבריו ולקח עץ אחד וכתוב עליו ליוסף עץ אפרים וכל בית ישראל חברו חבריו
Υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, λαβὲ σεαυτῷ ῥάβδον καὶ γράψον ἐπ’ αὐτὴν τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ τοὺς προσκειμένους ἐπ’ αὐτόν· καὶ ῥάβδον δευτέραν λήμψῃ σεαυτῷ καὶ γράψεις αὐτήν Τῷ Ιωσηφ, ῥάβδον Εφραιμ καὶ πάντας τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ τοὺς προστεθέντας πρὸς αὐτόν.
Son of man, take a ⓘ and write on it: «For ⓘ and the children of Israel associated with him»; take a second stick and write on it: «For ⓘ — the stick of Ephraim — and all the house of Israel associated with him».
17
וקרב אתם אחד אל אחד לך לעץ אחד והיו לאחדים בידך
καὶ συνάψεις αὐτὰς πρὸς ἀλλήλας σαυτῷ εἰς ῥάβδον μίαν τοῦ δῆσαι αὐτάς, καὶ ἔσονται ἐν τῇ χειρί σου.
Join them one to another into ⓘ: they shall become one in your hand.
18
וכאשר יאמרו אליך בני עמך לאמר הלוא תגיד לנו מה אלה לך
καὶ ἔσται ὅταν λέγωσιν πρὸς σὲ οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ λαοῦ σου Οὐκ ἀναγγελεῖς ἡμῖν τί ἐστιν ταῦτά σοι;
When the children of your people say to you: «Will you not tell us what you mean by these?»,

דבר אלהם כה אמר אדני יהוה הנה אני לקח את עץ יוסף אשר ביד אפרים ושבטי ישראל חברו חבריו ונתתי אותם עליו את עץ יהודה ועשיתם לעץ אחד והיו אחד בידי
καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Τάδε λέγει κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ λήμψομαι τὴν φυλὴν Ιωσηφ τὴν διὰ χειρὸς Εφραιμ καὶ τὰς φυλὰς Ισραηλ τὰς προσκειμένας πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὴν φυλὴν Ιουδα, καὶ ἔσονται εἰς ῥάβδον μίαν ἐν τῇ χειρὶ Ιουδα.
say to them: Thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton: Behold, I am taking the stick of Joseph — which is in the hand of Ephraim — and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I join them to the stick of Judah: I will make them a single stick, and they shall be one in my hand.

והיו העצים אשר תכתב עליהם בידך לעיניהם
καὶ ἔσονται αἱ ῥάβδοι, ἐφ’ αἷς σὺ ἔγραψας ἐπ’ αὐταῖς, ἐν τῇ χειρί σου ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν,
The sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
21
ודבר אליהם כה אמר אדני יהוה הנה אני לקח את בני ישראל מבין הגוים אשר הלכו שם וקבצתי אתם מסביב והבאתי אותם אל אדמתם
καὶ ἐρεῖς αὐτοῖς Τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ λαμβάνω πάντα οἶκον Ισραηλ ἐκ μέσου τῶν ἐθνῶν, οὗ εἰσήλθοσαν ἐκεῖ, καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν περικύκλῳ αὐτῶν καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ·
Say to them: Thus says the Lord Tetragrammaton: Behold, I take the children of Israel from among the ⓘ where they have gone, I gather them from every side and bring them back to their soil;
22
ועשיתי אתם לגוי אחד בארץ בהרי ישראל ומלך אחד יהיה לכלם למלך ולא יהיה יהיו עוד לשני גוים ולא יחצו עוד לשתי ממלכות עוד
καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς ἔθνος ἓν ἐν τῇ γῇ μου καὶ ἐν τοῖς ὄρεσιν Ισραηλ, καὶ ἄρχων εἷς ἔσται αὐτῶν, καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι εἰς δύο ἔθνη οὐδὲ μὴ διαιρεθῶσιν οὐκέτι εἰς δύο βασιλείας,
I will make them ⓘ in the land, on the mountains of Israel; one ⓘ shall be over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor divided into two kingdoms.
23
ולא יטמאו עוד בגלוליהם ובשקוציהם ובכל פשעיהם והושעתי אתם מכל מושבתיהם אשר חטאו בהם וטהרתי אותם והיו לי לעם ואני אהיה להם לאלהים
ἵνα μὴ μιαίνωνται ἔτι ἐν τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν. καὶ ῥύσομαι αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἀνομιῶν αὐτῶν, ὧν ἡμάρτοσαν ἐν αὐταῖς, καὶ καθαριῶ αὐτούς, καὶ ἔσονταί μοι εἰς λαόν, καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ἔσομαι αὐτοῖς εἰς θεόν.
They shall no longer defile themselves with their ⓘ and abominations; I will deliver them from all their unfaithfulness, I will ⓘ: they shall be my people and I will be their God.
24
ועבדי דוד מלך עליהם ורועה אחד יהיה לכלם ובמשפטי ילכו וחקתי ישמרו ועשו אותם
καὶ ὁ δοῦλός μου Δαυιδ ἄρχων ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν, καὶ ποιμὴν εἷς ἔσται πάντων· ὅτι ἐν τοῖς προστάγμασίν μου πορεύσονται καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου φυλάξονται καὶ ποιήσουσιν αὐτά.
And my servant ⓘ shall be ⓘ over them, ⓘ for them all; they shall walk in my ⓘ and keep my ⓘ.
25
וישבו על הארץ אשר נתתי לעבדי ליעקב אשר ישבו בה אבותיכם וישבו עליה המה ובניהם ובני בניהם עד עולם ודוד עבדי נשיא להם לעולם
καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν, ἣν ἐγὼ δέδωκα τῷ δούλῳ μου Ιακωβ, οὗ κατῴκησαν ἐκεῖ οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν· καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπ’ αὐτῆς αὐτοί, καὶ Δαυιδ ὁ δοῦλός μου ἄρχων αὐτῶν ἔσται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.
They shall dwell in the land given to my servant ⓘ, where their fathers dwelt; they and their children and their children's children shall dwell there forever, and David my servant shall be their prince forever.
26
וכרתי להם ברית שלום ברית עולם יהיה אותם ונתתים והרביתי אותם ונתתי את מקדשי בתוכם לעולם
καὶ διαθήσομαι αὐτοῖς διαθήκην εἰρήνης, διαθήκη αἰωνία ἔσται μετ’ αὐτῶν· καὶ θήσω τὰ ἅγιά μου ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.
I will make with them a ⓘ, an ⓘ; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set my ⓘ in their midst forever.
27
והיה משכני עליהם והייתי להם לאלהים והמה יהיו לי לעם
καὶ ἔσται ἡ κατασκήνωσίς μου ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἔσομαι αὐτοῖς θεός, καὶ αὐτοί μου ἔσονται λαός.
My ⓘ shall be over them; I will be their God and they shall be my people.
28
וידעו הגוים כי אני יהוה מקדש את ישראל בהיות מקדשי בתוכם לעולם
καὶ γνώσονται τὰ ἔθνη ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ εἶναι τὰ ἅγιά μου ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.
And the nations shall know that I am the ⓘ, when my sanctuary is in their midst forever.
