ותשר דבורה וברק בן אבינעם ביום ההוא לאמר
Καὶ ᾖσεν Δεββωρα καὶ Βαρακ υἱὸς Αβινεεμ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ καὶ εἶπεν
And ⓘ sang, together with ⓘ son of Avinoam, on that day, and she said:

בפרע פרעות בישראל בהתנדב עם ברכו יהוה
Ἐν τῷ ἄρξασθαι ἀρχηγοὺς ἐν Ισραηλ, ἐν προαιρέσει λαοῦ εὐλογεῖτε τὸν κύριον.
«ⓘ in Israel, when the people offered themselves ⓘ, with a willing heart, bless the Tetragrammaton!»

שמעו מלכים האזינו רזנים אנכי ליהוה אנכי אשירה אזמר ליהוה אלהי ישראל
ἀκούσατε, βασιλεῖς, ἐνωτίζεσθε, σατράπαι δυνατοί· ἐγὼ τῷ κυρίῳ ᾄσομαι, ψαλῶ τῷ θεῷ Ισραηλ.
Hear, O kings, give ear, O ⓘ: I, to the Tetragrammaton I will sing, ⓘ to the Tetragrammaton, God of Israel.

יהוה בצאתך משעיר בצעדך משדה אדום ארץ רעשה גם שמים נטפו גם עבים נטפו מים
κύριε, ἐν τῇ ἐξόδῳ σου ἐκ Σηιρ, ἐν τῷ ἀπαίρειν σε ἐξ ἀγροῦ Εδωμ γῆ ἐσείσθη, καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς ἐξεστάθη, καὶ αἱ νεφέλαι ἔσταξαν ὕδωρ·
Tetragrammaton, when you ⓘ, when you marched forward from the fields of Edom, the earth trembled, even the heavens ⓘ, even the clouds dripped water;

הרים נזלו מפני יהוה זה סיני מפני יהוה אלהי ישראל
ὄρη ἐσαλεύθησαν ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου, τοῦτο Σινα ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου θεοῦ Ισραηλ.
the mountains ⓘ, dissolved before the Tetragrammaton — that ⓘ melted before the Tetragrammaton, God of Israel.

בימי שמגר בן ענת בימי יעל חדלו ארחות והלכי נתיבות ילכו ארחות עקלקלות
ἐν ἡμέραις Σαμεγαρ υἱοῦ Αναθ, ἐν ἡμέραις Ιαηλ ἐξέλιπον βασιλεῖς καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν τρίβους, ἐπορεύθησαν ὁδοὺς διεστραμμένας.
In the days of ⓘ, in the days of ⓘ, the ⓘ on the main roads ceased, and travellers took ⓘ byways, hidden.

חדלו פרזון בישראל חדלו עד שקמתי דבורה שקמתי אם בישראל
ἐξέλιπεν φραζων ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ, ἐξέλιπεν, ἕως οὗ ἐξανέστη Δεββωρα, ὅτι ἀνέστη μήτηρ ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ.
The ⓘ in Israel ceased, they ceased entirely, until you arose, Devoràh, arose ⓘ.

יבחר אלהים חדשים אז לחם שערים מגן אם יראה ורמח בארבעים אלף בישראל
ᾑρέτισαν θεοὺς καινοὺς ὡς ἄρτον κρίθινον· σκέπην ἐὰν ἴδω σιρομαστῶν ἐν τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάσιν.
Israel chose ⓘ, alien ones, and at once war came to the ⓘ: there was no shield nor spear to be seen among ⓘ men in Israel.

לבי לחוקקי ישראל המתנדבים בעם ברכו יהוה
ἡ καρδία μου ἐπὶ τὰ διατεταγμένα τῷ Ισραηλ· οἱ δυνάσται τοῦ λαοῦ, εὐλογεῖτε τὸν κύριον.
My heart goes out to the ⓘ, to those among the people who offered themselves willingly: bless the Tetragrammaton!

רכבי אתנות צחרות ישבי על מדין והלכי על דרך שיחו
ἐπιβεβηκότες ἐπὶ ὑποζυγίων, καθήμενοι ἐπὶ λαμπηνῶν,
You who ride ⓘ, you who sit on ⓘ, and you who travel on foot along the road, ⓘ on this:

מקול מחצצים בין משאבים שם יתנו צדקות יהוה צדקת פרזנו בישראל אז ירדו לשערים עם יהוה
φθέγξασθε φωνὴν ἀνακρουομένων ἀνὰ μέσον εὐφραινομένων· ἐκεῖ δώσουσιν δικαιοσύνην κυρίῳ. δίκαιοι ἐνίσχυσαν ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ· τότε κατέβη εἰς τὰς πόλεις αὐτοῦ ὁ λαὸς κυρίου.
there, at the voice of those who ⓘ among the watering-troughs — where the people gather in peace —, there let them recount ⓘ, his deeds toward his villages in Israel. Then the people of the Tetragrammaton went down to the gates.

עורי עורי דבורה עורי עורי דברי שיר קום ברק ושבה שביך בן אבינעם
ἐξεγείρου ἐξεγείρου, Δεββωρα, ἐξέγειρον μυριάδας μετὰ λαοῦ, ἐξεγείρου ἐξεγείρου, λάλει μετ’ ᾠδῆς· ἐνισχύων ἐξανίστασο, Βαρακ, καὶ ἐνίσχυσον, Δεββωρα, τὸν Βαρακ· αἰχμαλώτιζε αἰχμαλωσίαν σου, υἱὸς Αβινεεμ.
Awake, awake, Devoràh! awake, awake, ⓘ! Arise, Baràq, and ⓘ, son of Avinoam.

אז ירד שריד לאדירים עם יהוה ירד לי בגבורים
πότε ἐμεγαλύνθη ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ; κύριε, ταπείνωσόν μοι τοὺς ἰσχυροτέρους μου.
Then came down a ⓘ, a faithful remainder, toward the nobles of the people; the Tetragrammaton came down for me among the mighty.

מני אפרים שרשם בעמלק אחריך בנימין בעממיך מני מכיר ירדו מחקקים ומזבולן משכים בשבט ספר
λαὸς Εφραιμ ἐτιμωρήσατο αὐτοὺς ἐν κοιλάδι ἀδελφοῦ σου Βενιαμιν ἐν λαοῖς σου. ἐξ ἐμοῦ Μαχιρ κατέβησαν ἐξερευνῶντες, καὶ ἐκ Ζαβουλων κύριος ἐπολέμει μοι ἐν δυνατοῖς ἐκεῖθεν ἐν σκήπτρῳ ἐνισχύοντος ἡγήσεως.
From Efràim came those ⓘ, behind you Binyamìn among your hosts; from ⓘ came down the chiefs and legislators, from Zevulùn those who carry the ⓘ.

ושרי ביששכר עם דברה ויששכר כן ברק בעמק שלח ברגליו בפלגות ראובן גדלים חקקי לב
ἐν Ισσαχαρ μετὰ Δεββωρας ἐξαπέστειλεν πεζοὺς αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν κοιλάδα. ἵνα τί σὺ κατοικεῖς ἐν μέσῳ χειλέων; ἐξέτεινεν ἐν τοῖς ποσὶν αὐτοῦ. ἐν διαιρέσεσιν Ρουβην μεγάλοι ἀκριβασμοὶ καρδίας.
The princes of Issakàr were with Devoràh; Issakàr faithful as Baràq, was sent into the valley at his footsteps. But in the ⓘ there were great ⓘ, great misgivings.

למה ישבת בין המשפתים לשמע שרקות עדרים לפלגות ראובן גדולים חקרי לב
ἵνα τί μοι κάθησαι ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν μοσφαθαιμ τοῦ εἰσακούειν συρισμοὺς ἐξεγειρόντων; τοῦ διελθεῖν εἰς τὰ τοῦ Ρουβην μεγάλοι ἐξιχνιασμοὶ καρδίας.
Why did you stay sitting among the ⓘ to hear the ⓘ? In the divisions of Reuvèn there were great searchings of heart, long deliberations.

גלעד בעבר הירדן שכן ודן למה יגור אניות אשר ישב לחוף ימים ועל מפרציו ישכון
Γαλααδ ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατεσκήνωσεν· καὶ Δαν ἵνα τί παροικεῖ πλοίοις; Ασηρ παρῴκησεν παρ’ αἰγιαλὸν θαλασσῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς διακοπὰς αὐτοῦ κατεσκήνωσεν.
Gilàd stayed at rest beyond the Yardèn; and Dan, why did he linger by the ⓘ, on the coasts? Ashèr sat on the shore of the seas, dwelling secure near his ⓘ.

זבלון עם חרף נפשו למות ונפתלי על מרומי שדה
Ζαβουλων λαὸς ὀνειδίσας ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ εἰς θάνατον καὶ Νεφθαλιμ ἐπὶ ὕψη ἀγροῦ.
But Zevulùn is a people who ⓘ, who exposed it to the extreme danger, and so did Naftalì, on the ⓘ.

באו מלכים נלחמו אז נלחמו מלכי כנען בתענך על מי מגדו בצע כסף לא לקחו
ἦλθον βασιλεῖς καὶ παρετάξαντο. τότε ἐπολέμησαν βασιλεῖς Χανααν ἐν Θενναχ ἐπὶ ὕδατος Μαγεδδω· πλεονεξίαν ἀργυρίου οὐκ ἔλαβον.
Kings came, they fought; then the kings of Canaan fought at ⓘ, by the waters of Megiddo: but ⓘ.

מן שמים נלחמו הכוכבים ממסלותם נלחמו עם סיסרא
ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐπολέμησαν ἀστέρες, ἐκ τῆς τάξεως αὐτῶν ἐπολέμησαν μετὰ Σισαρα.
From heaven the stars fought, from their ⓘ, from their established courses, they fought against Sisera.
21
נחל קישון גרפם נחל קדומים נחל קישון תדרכי נפשי עז
χειμάρρους Κισων ἐξέβαλεν αὐτούς, χειμάρρους καδημιμ, χειμάρρους Κισων· καταπατήσει αὐτοὺς ψυχή μου δυνατή.
The torrent ⓘ swept them away, the ancient ⓘ of battles, the torrent Qishòn. Tread with strength, O my soul, march on triumphant!

אז הלמו עקבי סוס מדהרות דהרות אביריו
τότε ἀπεκόπησαν πτέρναι ἵππου, αμαδαρωθ δυνατῶν αὐτοῦ.
Then ⓘ the hooves of the horses, in the headlong gallop, in the ⓘ in retreat.

אורו מרוז אמר מלאך יהוה ארו ארור ישביה כי לא באו לעזרת יהוה לעזרת יהוה בגבורים
καταράσασθε Μαρωζ, εἶπεν ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου, καταράσει καταράσασθε τοὺς ἐνοίκους αὐτῆς, ὅτι οὐκ ἤλθοσαν εἰς τὴν βοήθειαν κυρίου· βοηθὸς ἡμῶν κύριος ἐν μαχηταῖς δυνατός.
«ⓘ!», said ⓘ, the divine messenger, «curse, bitterly curse its inhabitants, because they did not come to the aid of the Tetragrammaton, to the aid of the Tetragrammaton among the mighty».

תברך מנשים יעל אשת חבר הקיני מנשים באהל תברך
εὐλογηθείη ἐκ γυναικῶν Ιαηλ γυνὴ Χαβερ τοῦ Κιναίου, ἐκ γυναικῶν ἐν σκηνῇ εὐλογηθείη.
ⓘ be Yaʿèl, wife of Chèver the Kenite; among the women who dwell in tents may she be blessed above all.
25
מים שאל חלב נתנה בספל אדירים הקריבה חמאה
ὕδωρ ᾔτησεν αὐτήν, καὶ γάλα ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ, ἐν λακάνῃ ἰσχυρῶν προσήγγισεν βούτυρον.
Water he asked — the thirsty Sisera —, milk she gave him; in a ⓘ she offered him ⓘ, curdled milk.
26
ידה ליתד תשלחנה וימינה להלמות עמלים והלמה סיסרא מחקה ראשו ומחצה וחלפה רקתו
τὴν χεῖρα αὐτῆς τὴν ἀριστερὰν εἰς πάσσαλον ἐξέτεινεν, τὴν δεξιὰν αὐτῆς εἰς ἀποτομὰς κατακόπων καὶ ἀπέτεμεν Σισαρα, ἀπέτριψεν τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ συνέθλασεν καὶ διήλασεν τὴν γνάθον αὐτοῦ.
Her left hand she stretched to the ⓘ, her right hand to the ⓘ of the workers; she struck Sisera, shattered his head, ⓘ.

בין רגליה כרע נפל שכב בין רגליה כרע נפל באשר כרע שם נפל שדוד
ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ποδῶν αὐτῆς συγκάμψας ἔπεσεν, ἐκοιμήθη μεταξὺ ποδῶν αὐτῆς· ἐν ᾧ ἔκαμψεν, ἐκεῖ ἔπεσεν ταλαίπωρος.
At her feet he ⓘ, fell, lay; at her feet he sank down, fell to the ground: where he sank down, there he fell ⓘ, destroyed.

בעד החלון נשקפה ותיבב אם סיסרא בעד האשנב מדוע בשש רכבו לבוא מדוע אחרו פעמי מרכבותיו
διὰ τῆς θυρίδος διέκυπτεν ἡ μήτηρ Σισαρα διὰ τῆς δικτυωτῆς ἐπιβλέπουσα ἐπὶ τοὺς μεταστρέφοντας μετὰ Σισαρα Διὰ τί ἠσχάτισεν τὸ ἅρμα αὐτοῦ παραγενέσθαι; διὰ τί ἐχρόνισαν ἴχνη ἁρμάτων αὐτοῦ;
From the window she leaned out and ⓘ, the mother of Sisera, behind the ⓘ of her house: «Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why are the hoofbeats of his war chariots so late?»

חכמות שרותיה תענינה אף היא תשיב אמריה לה
σοφαὶ ἀρχουσῶν αὐτῆς ἀνταπεκρίναντο πρὸς αὐτήν, καὶ αὐτὴ ἀπεκρίνατο ἐν ῥήμασιν αὐτῆς
The wisest, the shrewdest among her ⓘ answer her with words of comfort, and she herself repeats their words within herself:
30
הלא ימצאו יחלקו שלל רחם רחמתים לראש גבר שלל צבעים לסיסרא שלל צבעים רקמה צבע רקמתים לצוארי שלל
Οὐχὶ εὑρήσουσιν αὐτὸν διαμερίζοντα σκῦλα; φιλιάζων φίλοις εἰς κεφαλὴν δυνατοῦ· σκῦλα βαμμάτων Σισαρα, σκῦλα βαμμάτων ποικιλίας, βαφὴ ποικίλων περὶ τράχηλον αὐτοῦ σκῦλον.
«Surely they are finding and dividing the spoil: a ⓘ for every warrior; spoil of ⓘ for Sisera, spoil of dyed garments and artfully embroidered, a double precious embroidery for the neck of the plunderer, for him who has conquered».
31
כן יאבדו כל אויביך יהוה ואהביו כצאת השמש בגברתו ותשקט הארץ ארבעים שנה
οὕτως ἀπόλοιντο πάντες οἱ ἐχθροί σου, κύριε· καὶ οἱ ἀγαπῶντες αὐτὸν καθὼς ἡ ἀνατολὴ τοῦ ἡλίου ἐν δυναστείαις αὐτοῦ. Καὶ ἡσύχασεν ἡ γῆ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη.
So perish all your enemies, O Tetragrammaton! but let those who love you be ⓘ in its full power, in its splendour. — And the land ⓘ forty years.
