שמעו בנים מוסר אב והקשיבו לדעת בינה
Ἀκούσατε, παῖδες, παιδείαν πατρὸς καὶ προσέχετε γνῶναι ἔννοιαν·
Listen, ⓘ, to the ⓘ of a father, and pay attention to know ⓘ.

כי לקח טוב נתתי לכם תורתי אל תעזבו
δῶρον γὰρ ἀγαθὸν δωροῦμαι ὑμῖν, τὸν ἐμὸν νόμον μὴ ἐγκαταλίπητε.
For a ⓘ I have given you: do not abandon my ⓘ.

כי בן הייתי לאבי רך ויחיד לפני אמי
υἱὸς γὰρ ἐγενόμην κἀγὼ πατρὶ ὑπήκοος καὶ ἀγαπώμενος ἐν προσώπῳ μητρός,
For I too was a ⓘ to my father, ⓘ and the only one before my mother,

וירני ויאמר לי יתמך דברי לבך שמר מצותי וחיה
οἳ ἔλεγον καὶ ἐδίδασκόν με Ἐρειδέτω ὁ ἡμέτερος λόγος εἰς σὴν καρδίαν·
and he would instruct me and say: Let my words be held fast in your ⓘ; keep my ⓘ and ⓘ.

קנה חכמה קנה בינה אל תשכח ואל תט מאמרי פי
φύλασσε ἐντολάς, μὴ ἐπιλάθῃ μηδὲ παρίδῃς ῥῆσιν ἐμοῦ στόματος
Acquire ⓘ, acquire ⓘ; do not forget nor stray from the words of my mouth;

אל תעזבה ותשמרך אהבה ותצרך
μηδὲ ἐγκαταλίπῃς αὐτήν, καὶ ἀνθέξεταί σου· ἐράσθητι αὐτῆς, καὶ τηρήσει σε·
do not ⓘ and she will keep you; ⓘ and she will watch over you.
