בעת ההיא נאם יהוה ויציאו יוציאו את עצמות מלכי יהודה ואת עצמות שריו ואת עצמות הכהנים ואת עצמות הנביאים ואת עצמות יושבי ירושלם מקבריהם
ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ, λέγει κύριος, ἐξοίσουσιν τὰ ὀστᾶ τῶν βασιλέων Ιουδα καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ τῶν ἀρχόντων αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ τῶν προφητῶν καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ τῶν κατοικούντων Ιερουσαλημ ἐκ τῶν τάφων αὐτῶν
In that time — oracle of the Tetragrammatonⓘ — they shall bring out from their graves the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of his princes, the bones of the kohanìmⓘ, the bones of the prophets and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem,

ושטחום לשמש ולירח ולכל צבא השמים אשר אהבום ואשר עבדום ואשר הלכו אחריהם ואשר דרשום ואשר השתחוו להם לא יאספו ולא יקברו לדמן על פני האדמה יהיו
καὶ ψύξουσιν αὐτὰ πρὸς τὸν ἥλιον καὶ τὴν σελήνην καὶ πρὸς πάντας τοὺς ἀστέρας καὶ πρὸς πᾶσαν τὴν στρατιὰν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ἃ ἠγάπησαν καὶ οἷς ἐδούλευσαν καὶ ὧν ἐπορεύθησαν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν καὶ ὧν ἀντείχοντο καὶ οἷς προσεκύνησαν αὐτοῖς· οὐ κοπήσονται καὶ οὐ ταφήσονται καὶ ἔσονται εἰς παράδειγμα ἐπὶ προσώπου τῆς γῆς,
and they shall scatter them, spreading them out before the sun, the moon and all the host of heavenⓘ, those stars which they loved and served, behind which they walked, which they soughtⓘ and before which they bowed down: they shall no longer be gathered nor buried, they shall become dungⓘ spread upon the face of the ground.

ונבחר מות מחיים לכל השארית הנשארים מן המשפחה הרעה הזאת בכל המקמות הנשארים אשר הדחתים שם נאם יהוה צבאות
ὅτι εἵλοντο τὸν θάνατον ἢ τὴν ζωήν, καὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς καταλοίποις τοῖς καταλειφθεῖσιν ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς ἐκείνης ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ, οὗ ἐὰν ἐξώσω αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ.
And death shall be preferred over lifeⓘ by all the remaining survivors of this wicked kin, in every place where I shall have dispersed and driven them — oracle of the Tetragrammaton Tzevaòtⓘ.

ואמרת אליהם כה אמר יהוה היפלו ולא יקומו אם ישוב ולא ישוב
Ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος Μὴ ὁ πίπτων οὐκ ἀνίσταται; ἢ ὁ ἀποστρέφων οὐκ ἐπιστρέφει;
And you shall say to them: Thus says the Tetragrammatonⓘ: Does one who falls not rise again? Does one who turns asideⓘ from the path not turn back?

מדוע שובבה העם הזה ירושלם משבה נצחת החזיקו בתרמית מאנו לשוב
διὰ τί ἀπέστρεψεν ὁ λαός μου οὗτος ἀποστροφὴν ἀναιδῆ καὶ κατεκρατήθησαν ἐν τῇ προαιρέσει αὐτῶν καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησαν τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι;
Why then has this people, Jerusalem, persisted in a perpetual turning awayⓘ? They cling with force to deceit, they refuse to be converted, to turn back.

הקשבתי ואשמע לוא כן ידברו אין איש נחם על רעתו לאמר מה עשיתי כלה שב במרצותם במרוצתם כסוס שוטף במלחמה
ἐνωτίσασθε δὴ καὶ ἀκούσατε· οὐχ οὕτως λαλήσουσιν, οὐκ ἔστιν ἄνθρωπος μετανοῶν ἀπὸ τῆς κακίας αὐτοῦ λέγων Τί ἐποίησα; διέλιπεν ὁ τρέχων ἀπὸ τοῦ δρόμου αὐτοῦ ὡς ἵππος κάθιδρος ἐν χρεμετισμῷ αὐτοῦ.
I have inclined my ear and listened carefully: they do not speak truthfully, no one repents of his wickedness saying «what have I done?»ⓘ; each one runs back to his own course like a horse that rushes headlong into battleⓘ.

גם חסידה בשמים ידעה מועדיה ותר וסוס וסיס ועגור שמרו את עת באנה ועמי לא ידעו את משפט יהוה
καὶ ἡ ασιδα ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἔγνω τὸν καιρὸν αὐτῆς, τρυγὼν καὶ χελιδών, ἀγροῦ στρουθία ἐφύλαξαν καιροὺς εἰσόδων αὐτῶν, ὁ δὲ λαός μου οὐκ ἔγνω τὰ κρίματα κυρίου.
Even the storkⓘ in the sky knows its appointed seasons, the turtledove, the swallowⓘ and the crane observe the time of their return; but my people does not know the right, the ordinanceⓘ of the Tetragrammaton.

איכה תאמרו חכמים אנחנו ותורת יהוה אתנו אכן הנה לשקר עשה עט שקר ספרים
πῶς ἐρεῖτε ὅτι Σοφοί ἐσμεν ἡμεῖς, καὶ νόμος κυρίου ἐστὶν μεθ’ ἡμῶν; εἰς μάτην ἐγενήθη σχοῖνος ψευδὴς γραμματεῦσιν.
How can you say: «We are wise and the Torah of the Tetragrammatonⓘ is with us»? Behold, in falsehood has it been turned by the lying pen of the scribesⓘ.

הבישו חכמים חתו וילכדו הנה בדבר יהוה מאסו וחכמת מה להם
ᾐσχύνθησαν σοφοὶ καὶ ἐπτοήθησαν καὶ ἑάλωσαν, ὅτι τὸν λόγον κυρίου ἀπεδοκίμασαν· σοφία τίς ἐστιν ἐν αὐτοῖς;
The wise men shall be put to shame, dismayed and taken: behold, they have rejected the word of the Tetragrammaton; what wisdomⓘ then remains in them?

לכן אתן את נשיהם לאחרים שדותיהם ליורשים כי מקטן ועד גדול כלה בצע בצע מנביא ועד כהן כלה עשה שקר
διὰ τοῦτο δώσω τὰς γυναῖκας αὐτῶν ἑτέροις καὶ τοὺς ἀγροὺς αὐτῶν τοῖς κληρονόμοις,
Therefore I shall give their wives to others, their fields to new possessors; for from the least to the greatest all are greedy for dishonest gainⓘ, from prophet to priest all practise falsehood.
