וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
Καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
And the Tetragrammaton spoke to Moshehⓘ, saying:

דבר אל בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם אני יהוה אלהיכם
Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
Speak to the children of Israelⓘ and say to them: I am the Tetragrammaton your Godⓘ.

כמעשה ארץ מצרים אשר ישבתם בה לא תעשו וכמעשה ארץ כנען אשר אני מביא אתכם שמה לא תעשו ובחקתיהם לא תלכו
κατὰ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα γῆς Αἰγύπτου, ἐν ᾗ κατῳκήσατε ἐπ’ αὐτῇ, οὐ ποιήσετε καὶ κατὰ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα γῆς Χανααν, εἰς ἣν ἐγὼ εἰσάγω ὑμᾶς ἐκεῖ, οὐ ποιήσετε καὶ τοῖς νομίμοις αὐτῶν οὐ πορεύσεσθε·
According to the doings of the land of Egyptⓘ, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Kenàan, where I bringⓘ you, you shall not do, and in their statutesⓘ you shall not walk.

את משפטי תעשו ואת חקתי תשמרו ללכת בהם אני יהוה אלהיכם
τὰ κρίματά μου ποιήσετε καὶ τὰ προστάγματά μου φυλάξεσθε πορεύεσθαι ἐν αὐτοῖς· ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
My judgmentsⓘ you shall do and my statutesⓘ you shall keep, to walk in themⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton your God.

ושמרתם את חקתי ואת משפטי אשר יעשה אתם האדם וחי בהם אני יהוה
καὶ φυλάξεσθε πάντα τὰ προστάγματά μου καὶ πάντα τὰ κρίματά μου καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτά, ἃ ποιήσας ἄνθρωπος ζήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς· ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And you shall keep all my precepts and all my judgments, and you shall put them into practice: the man who does them shall live by themⓘ; I am the Tetragrammaton, your Godⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And you shall keep my statutes and my judgments, which the man who carries them out shall live by themⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.

איש איש אל כל שאר בשרו לא תקרבו לגלות ערוה אני יהוה
Ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος πρὸς πάντα οἰκεῖα σαρκὸς αὐτοῦ οὐ προσελεύσεται ἀποκαλύψαι ἀσχημοσύνην· ἐγὼ κύριος.
No man, noneⓘ, to any flesh of his fleshⓘ you shall not draw near to uncover the nakednessⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.

ערות אביך וערות אמך לא תגלה אמך הוא לא תגלה ערותה
ἀσχημοσύνην πατρός σου καὶ ἀσχημοσύνην μητρός σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· μήτηρ γάρ σού ἐστιν, καὶ οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς.
The nakedness of your fatherⓘ and the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncoverⓘ: she is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

ערות אשת אביך לא תגלה ערות אביך הוא
ἀσχημοσύνην γυναικὸς πατρός σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· ἀσχημοσύνη πατρός σού ἐστιν.
The nakedness of your father's wifeⓘ you shall not uncover: it is your father's nakedness.

ערות אחותך בת אביך או בת אמך מולדת בית או מולדת חוץ לא תגלה ערותן
ἀσχημοσύνην τῆς ἀδελφῆς σου ἐκ πατρός σου ἢ ἐκ μητρός σου, ἐνδογενοῦς ἢ γεγεννημένης ἔξω, οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς.
The nakedness of your sister, daughter of your father or daughter of your mother, born at home or born abroadⓘ, you shall not uncover their nakedness.

ערות בת בנך או בת בתך לא תגלה ערותן כי ערותך הנה
ἀσχημοσύνην θυγατρὸς υἱοῦ σου ἢ θυγατρὸς θυγατρός σου, οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῶν, ὅτι σὴ ἀσχημοσύνη ἐστίν.
The nakedness of the daughter of your son or of the daughter of your daughter you shall not uncover: for they are your own nakednessⓘ.

ערות בת אשת אביך מולדת אביך אחותך הוא לא תגלה ערותה
ἀσχημοσύνην θυγατρὸς γυναικὸς πατρός σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· ὁμοπατρία ἀδελφή σού ἐστιν, οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς.
The nakedness of the daughter of your father's wifeⓘ, begotten by your father, she is your sister, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

ערות אחות אביך לא תגלה שאר אביך הוא
ἀσχημοσύνην ἀδελφῆς πατρός σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· οἰκεία γὰρ πατρός σού ἐστιν.
The nakedness of the sister of your father you shall not uncover: she is the blood-kin of your fatherⓘ.

ערות אחות אמך לא תגלה כי שאר אמך הוא
ἀσχημοσύνην ἀδελφῆς μητρός σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· οἰκεία γὰρ μητρός σού ἐστιν.
The nakedness of the sister of your mother you shall not uncover, for she is the blood-kin of your mother.

ערות אחי אביך לא תגלה אל אשתו לא תקרב דדתך הוא
ἀσχημοσύνην ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρός σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις καὶ πρὸς τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ οὐκ εἰσελεύσῃ· συγγενὴς γάρ σού ἐστιν.
The nakedness of the brother of your fatherⓘ you shall not uncover: to his woman you shall not draw near, she is your auntⓘ.

ערות כלתך לא תגלה אשת בנך הוא לא תגלה ערותה
ἀσχημοσύνην νύμφης σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· γυνὴ γὰρ υἱοῦ σού ἐστιν, οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς.
The nakedness of your daughter-in-lawⓘ you shall not uncover: she is the wife of your son, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

ערות אשת אחיך לא תגלה ערות אחיך הוא
ἀσχημοσύνην γυναικὸς ἀδελφοῦ σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· ἀσχημοσύνη ἀδελφοῦ σού ἐστιν.
The nakedness of the wife of your brotherⓘ you shall not uncover: it is your brother's nakedness.
17
ערות אשה ובתה לא תגלה את בת בנה ואת בת בתה לא תקח לגלות ערותה שארה הנה זמה הוא
ἀσχημοσύνην γυναικὸς καὶ θυγατρὸς αὐτῆς οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις· τὴν θυγατέρα τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν θυγατέρα τῆς θυγατρὸς αὐτῆς οὐ λήμψῃ ἀποκαλύψαι τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῶν· οἰκεῖαι γάρ σού εἰσιν, ἀσέβημά ἐστιν.
The nakedness of a woman and of her daughter you shall not uncover: the daughter of her son and the daughter of her daughter you shall not takeⓘ to uncover their nakedness: they are blood-kinⓘ, it is wickednessⓘ.

ואשה אל אחתה לא תקח לצרר לגלות ערותה עליה בחייה
γυναῖκα ἐπὶ ἀδελφῇ αὐτῆς οὐ λήμψῃ ἀντίζηλον ἀποκαλύψαι τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς ἐπ’ αὐτῇ ἔτι ζώσης αὐτῆς.
And a woman together with her sister you shall not take to make her a rivalⓘ, uncovering her nakedness beside her, while she is aliveⓘ.
19
ואל אשה בנדת טמאתה לא תקרב לגלות ערותה
Καὶ πρὸς γυναῖκα ἐν χωρισμῷ ἀκαθαρσίας αὐτῆς οὐ προσελεύσῃ ἀποκαλύψαι τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς.
And to a woman in the separation of her impurityⓘ you shall not draw near to uncover her nakedness.
20
ואל אשת עמיתך לא תתן שכבתך לזרע לטמאה בה
καὶ πρὸς τὴν γυναῖκα τοῦ πλησίον σου οὐ δώσεις κοίτην σπέρματός σου ἐκμιανθῆναι πρὸς αὐτήν.
And to the wife of your neighborⓘ you shall not give your lying of seedⓘ, defiling yourself with herⓘ.
21
ומזרעך לא תתן להעביר למלך ולא תחלל את שם אלהיך אני יהוה
καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ σπέρματός σου οὐ δώσεις λατρεύειν ἄρχοντι καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσεις τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιον· ἐγὼ κύριος.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And of your seed you shall not give to render cult to a princeⓘ, and you shall not profane the holy Name: I am the Tetragrammaton.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And from your seed you shall not give to make it pass over to Mòlekhⓘ, and you shall not profane the Name of your Godⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.

ואת זכר לא תשכב משכבי אשה תועבה הוא
καὶ μετὰ ἄρσενος οὐ κοιμηθήσῃ κοίτην γυναικός· βδέλυγμα γάρ ἐστιν.
And with a male you shall not lie as one lies with a womanⓘ: it is abominationⓘ.
23
ובכל בהמה לא תתן שכבתך לטמאה בה ואשה לא תעמד לפני בהמה לרבעה תבל הוא
καὶ πρὸς πᾶν τετράπουν οὐ δώσεις τὴν κοίτην σου εἰς σπερματισμὸν ἐκμιανθῆναι πρὸς αὐτό, καὶ γυνὴ οὐ στήσεται πρὸς πᾶν τετράπουν βιβασθῆναι· μυσερὸν γάρ ἐστιν.
And with any beastⓘ you shall not give your lying, defiling yourself with it; and a woman shall not present herselfⓘ before a beast to mateⓘ: it is perversionⓘ.

אל תטמאו בכל אלה כי בכל אלה נטמאו הגוים אשר אני משלח מפניכם
Μὴ μιαίνεσθε ἐν πᾶσιν τούτοις· ἐν πᾶσι γὰρ τούτοις ἐμιάνθησαν τὰ ἔθνη, ἃ ἐγὼ ἐξαποστέλλω πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν,
Do not defile yourselvesⓘ with any of these things, for with all these the nationsⓘ have defiled themselves, whom I drive out before youⓘ.
25
ותטמא הארץ ואפקד עונה עליה ותקא הארץ את ישביה
καὶ ἐμιάνθη ἡ γῆ, καὶ ἀνταπέδωκα ἀδικίαν αὐτοῖς δι’ αὐτήν, καὶ προσώχθισεν ἡ γῆ τοῖς ἐγκαθημένοις ἐπ’ αὐτῆς.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And the land has been defiled, and I have repaidⓘ to them the iniquity because of it, and the land has held in aversionⓘ those who dwelt upon it.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And the land has been defiledⓘ, and I have visited its guilt upon itⓘ, and the land has vomited out its inhabitantsⓘ.

ושמרתם אתם את חקתי ואת משפטי ולא תעשו מכל התועבת האלה האזרח והגר הגר בתוככם
καὶ φυλάξεσθε πάντα τὰ νόμιμά μου καὶ πάντα τὰ προστάγματά μου καὶ οὐ ποιήσετε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν βδελυγμάτων τούτων, ὁ ἐγχώριος καὶ ὁ προσγενόμενος προσήλυτος ἐν ὑμῖν·
But you shall keepⓘ my statutes and my judgments, and you shall not do any of these abominationsⓘ, neither the nativeⓘ nor the stranger who sojournsⓘ in your midst.
27
כי את כל התועבת האל עשו אנשי הארץ אשר לפניכם ותטמא הארץ
πάντα γὰρ τὰ βδελύγματα ταῦτα ἐποίησαν οἱ ἄνθρωποι τῆς γῆς οἱ ὄντες πρότεροι ὑμῶν, καὶ ἐμιάνθη ἡ γῆ·
For all these abominations have the men of the landⓘ who were before you committed, and the land has been defiled.
28
ולא תקיא הארץ אתכם בטמאכם אתה כאשר קאה את הגוי אשר לפניכם
καὶ ἵνα μὴ προσοχθίσῃ ὑμῖν ἡ γῆ ἐν τῷ μιαίνειν ὑμᾶς αὐτήν, ὃν τρόπον προσώχθισεν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τοῖς πρὸ ὑμῶν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——lest the land hold in aversion you also, in your defiling it, in the manner in which it held in aversion the nationsⓘ who were before you.—— Masoretic (MT) ——That the land may not vomit you out alsoⓘ, in your defiling it, as it vomited out the nationⓘ that was before you.
29
כי כל אשר יעשה מכל התועבות האלה ונכרתו הנפשות העשת מקרב עמם
ὅτι πᾶς, ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν βδελυγμάτων τούτων, ἐξολεθρευθήσονται αἱ ψυχαὶ αἱ ποιοῦσαι ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῶν.
For whoever commits any one of these abominations, the soulsⓘ who commit them shall be cut offⓘ from the midst of their people.
30
ושמרתם את משמרתי לבלתי עשות מחקות התועבת אשר נעשו לפניכם ולא תטמאו בהם אני יהוה אלהיכם
καὶ φυλάξετε τὰ προστάγματά μου, ὅπως μὴ ποιήσητε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν νομίμων τῶν ἐβδελυγμένων, ἃ γέγονεν πρὸ τοῦ ὑμᾶς, καὶ οὐ μιανθήσεσθε ἐν αὐτοῖς· ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
And you shall keep my chargeⓘ so as not to practice any of the abominable statutesⓘ that were practiced before you, and you shall not defile yourselves in them: I am the Tetragrammaton your Godⓘ.
