וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
And the Tetragrammaton spoke to Mosheh, saying:

דבר אל כל עדת בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם קדשים תהיו כי קדוש אני יהוה אלהיכם
Λάλησον τῇ συναγωγῇ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Ἅγιοι ἔσεσθε, ὅτι ἐγὼ ἅγιος, κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
Speakⓘ to the whole congregation of the children of Israelⓘ and say to them: Holy you shall beⓘ, for holy am Iⓘ, the Tetragrammaton your God.

איש אמו ואביו תיראו ואת שבתתי תשמרו אני יהוה אלהיכם
ἕκαστος πατέρα αὐτοῦ καὶ μητέρα αὐτοῦ φοβείσθω, καὶ τὰ σάββατά μου φυλάξεσθε· ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
Each one his mother and his father you shall fearⓘ, and my sabbathsⓘ you shall keep: I am the Tetragrammaton your God.

אל תפנו אל האלילים ואלהי מסכה לא תעשו לכם אני יהוה אלהיכם
οὐκ ἐπακολουθήσετε εἰδώλοις καὶ θεοὺς χωνευτοὺς οὐ ποιήσετε ὑμῖν· ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν. –
Do not turnⓘ toward the idolsⓘ and gods of cast metalⓘ you shall not make for yourselves: I am the Tetragrammaton your God.

וכי תזבחו זבח שלמים ליהוה לרצנכם תזבחהו
καὶ ἐὰν θύσητε θυσίαν σωτηρίου τῷ κυρίῳ, δεκτὴν ὑμῶν θύσετε.
And when you offer a sacrifice of peaceⓘ to the Tetragrammaton, for your acceptanceⓘ you shall offer it.

ביום זבחכם יאכל וממחרת והנותר עד יום השלישי באש ישרף
ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ θύσητε, βρωθήσεται καὶ τῇ αὔριον· καὶ ἐὰν καταλειφθῇ ἕως ἡμέρας τρίτης, ἐν πυρὶ κατακαυθήσεται.
On the day of your sacrifice it shall be eaten, and on the next day; and that which remainsⓘ until the third day shall be burned with fireⓘ.

ואם האכל יאכל ביום השלישי פגול הוא לא ירצה
ἐὰν δὲ βρώσει βρωθῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ, ἄθυτόν ἐστιν, οὐ δεχθήσεται·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is a thing unofferableⓘ, it shall not be accepted;—— Masoretic (MT) ——And if it is indeed eaten on the third day, it is foul fleshⓘ, it shall not be accepted.

ואכליו עונו ישא כי את קדש יהוה חלל ונכרתה הנפש ההוא מעמיה
ὁ δὲ ἔσθων αὐτὸ ἁμαρτίαν λήμψεται, ὅτι τὰ ἅγια κυρίου ἐβεβήλωσεν· καὶ ἐξολεθρευθήσονται αἱ ψυχαὶ αἱ ἔσθουσαι ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῶν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——whoever eats of it shall bear a sin, because he has profaned the holy things of the Tetragrammaton; and the souls that eat of itⓘ shall be cut offⓘ, from among their people.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And whoever eats of it shall bear his guiltⓘ, for he has profaned the holy thing of the Tetragrammatonⓘ; and that person shall be cut off from his peopleⓘ.

ובקצרכם את קציר ארצכם לא תכלה פאת שדך לקצר ולקט קצירך לא תלקט
Καὶ ἐκθεριζόντων ὑμῶν τὸν θερισμὸν τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν οὐ συντελέσετε τὸν θερισμὸν ὑμῶν τοῦ ἀγροῦ ἐκθερίσαι καὶ τὰ ἀποπίπτοντα τοῦ θερισμοῦ σου οὐ συλλέξεις
And when you reap the harvest of your landⓘ, you shall not finish reaping the corner of your fieldⓘ, and the gleaningⓘ of your harvest you shall not gather.

וכרמך לא תעולל ופרט כרמך לא תלקט לעני ולגר תעזב אתם אני יהוה אלהיכם
καὶ τὸν ἀμπελῶνά σου οὐκ ἐπανατρυγήσεις οὐδὲ τοὺς ῥῶγας τοῦ ἀμπελῶνός σου συλλέξεις· τῷ πτωχῷ καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ καταλείψεις αὐτά· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
And your vineyard you shall not glean overⓘ, and the fallen grapesⓘ of your vineyard you shall not gather: for the poor and for the strangerⓘ you shall leave them: I am the Tetragrammaton your God.
11
לא תגנבו ולא תכחשו ולא תשקרו איש בעמיתו
Οὐ κλέψετε. οὐ ψεύσεσθε. οὐ συκοφαντήσει ἕκαστος τὸν πλησίον.
You shall not stealⓘ, and you shall not deny the truthⓘ, and you shall not lie one to his neighborⓘ.

ולא תשבעו בשמי לשקר וחללת את שם אלהיך אני יהוה
καὶ οὐκ ὀμεῖσθε τῷ ὀνόματί μου ἐπ’ ἀδίκῳ καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσετε τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
And you shall not swear by my Name falselyⓘ, and you would profane the Name of your Godⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.
13
לא תעשק את רעך ולא תגזל לא תלין פעלת שכיר אתך עד בקר
οὐκ ἀδικήσεις τὸν πλησίον καὶ οὐχ ἁρπάσεις, καὶ οὐ μὴ κοιμηθήσεται ὁ μισθὸς τοῦ μισθωτοῦ παρὰ σοὶ ἕως πρωί.
Do not oppress your neighborⓘ and do not robⓘ; the wages of the hired laborer shall not remain with you overnight until morningⓘ.

לא תקלל חרש ולפני עור לא תתן מכשל ויראת מאלהיך אני יהוה
οὐ κακῶς ἐρεῖς κωφὸν καὶ ἀπέναντι τυφλοῦ οὐ προσθήσεις σκάνδαλον καὶ φοβηθήσῃ κύριον τὸν θεόν σου· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
Do not curse the deafⓘ and before the blindⓘ do not place a stumbling blockⓘ, and you shall fear your Godⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.
15
לא תעשו עול במשפט לא תשא פני דל ולא תהדר פני גדול בצדק תשפט עמיתך
Οὐ ποιήσετε ἄδικον ἐν κρίσει· οὐ λήμψῃ πρόσωπον πτωχοῦ οὐδὲ θαυμάσεις πρόσωπον δυνάστου, ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ κρινεῖς τὸν πλησίον σου.
You shall not commit injustice in judgmentⓘ: you shall not favor the face of the poorⓘ, and you shall not honor the face of the mightyⓘ: with justice you shall judge your neighborⓘ.
16
לא תלך רכיל בעמיך לא תעמד על דם רעך אני יהוה
οὐ πορεύσῃ δόλῳ ἐν τῷ ἔθνει σου, οὐκ ἐπισυστήσῃ ἐφ’ αἷμα τοῦ πλησίον σου· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
Do not go about spreading slanderⓘ among your people; do not stand against the blood of your neighborⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.
17
לא תשנא את אחיך בלבבך הוכח תוכיח את עמיתך ולא תשא עליו חטא
οὐ μισήσεις τὸν ἀδελφόν σου τῇ διανοίᾳ σου, ἐλεγμῷ ἐλέγξεις τὸν πλησίον σου καὶ οὐ λήμψῃ δι’ αὐτὸν ἁμαρτίαν.
Do not hate your brother in your heartⓘ: reproving you shall reprove your neighborⓘ, and you shall not bear sin on his accountⓘ.

לא תקם ולא תטר את בני עמך ואהבת לרעך כמוך אני יהוה
καὶ οὐκ ἐκδικᾶταί σου ἡ χείρ, καὶ οὐ μηνιεῖς τοῖς υἱοῖς τοῦ λαοῦ σου καὶ ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And your handⓘ shall not take revenge, and you shall not harbor a grudge against the children of your people, and you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Tetragrammaton.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Do not take vengeanceⓘ and do not bear a grudgeⓘ against the children of your people: and you shall love your neighbor as yourselfⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.

את חקתי תשמרו בהמתך לא תרביע כלאים שדך לא תזרע כלאים ובגד כלאים שעטנז לא יעלה עליך
Τὸν νόμον μου φυλάξεσθε· τὰ κτήνη σου οὐ κατοχεύσεις ἑτεροζύγῳ καὶ τὸν ἀμπελῶνά σου οὐ κατασπερεῖς διάφορον καὶ ἱμάτιον ἐκ δύο ὑφασμένον κίβδηλον οὐκ ἐπιβαλεῖς σεαυτῷ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——my Law you shall keep: your cattle you shall not mate with a species of a different yokeⓘ, and your vineyardⓘ you shall not sow with different seed, nor a garment woven of two threads, an adulterated thing (kíbdēlon), shall you put upon yourself.—— Masoretic (MT) ——My statutesⓘ you shall keep: your cattle you shall not mate with a different speciesⓘ, your field you shall not sow with mixed seedⓘ, and a garment of mixed fabric, shaʿatnèzⓘ shall not come upon you.

ואיש כי ישכב את אשה שכבת זרע והוא שפחה נחרפת לאיש והפדה לא נפדתה או חפשה לא נתן לה בקרת תהיה לא יומתו כי לא חפשה
Καὶ ἐάν τις κοιμηθῇ μετὰ γυναικὸς κοίτην σπέρματος καὶ αὐτὴ οἰκέτις διαπεφυλαγμένη ἀνθρώπῳ καὶ αὐτὴ λύτροις οὐ λελύτρωται ἢ ἐλευθερία οὐκ ἐδόθη αὐτῇ, ἐπισκοπὴ ἔσται αὐτοῖς· οὐκ ἀποθανοῦνται, ὅτι οὐκ ἀπηλευθερώθη.
And a man, when he lies with a woman with emission of seedⓘ, and she is a bondwoman designated for a manⓘ and has not been redeemed at allⓘ nor has freedom been given to her, there shall be an inquiryⓘ: they shall not be put to death, since she was not free.

והביא את אשמו ליהוה אל פתח אהל מועד איל אשם
καὶ προσάξει τῆς πλημμελείας αὐτοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ παρὰ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου κριὸν πλημμελείας·
And he shall bring his guilt offeringⓘ to the Tetragrammaton, at the entrance of the tent of meetingⓘ: a ram of reparation.
22
וכפר עליו הכהן באיל האשם לפני יהוה על חטאתו אשר חטא ונסלח לו מחטאתו אשר חטא
καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐν τῷ κριῷ τῆς πλημμελείας ἔναντι κυρίου περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας, ἧς ἥμαρτεν, καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτῷ ἡ ἁμαρτία, ἣν ἥμαρτεν.
And the priest shall make atonement over himⓘ with the ram of reparation before the Tetragrammaton for his sin that he has committed, and it shall be forgiven himⓘ from his sin that he has committed.

וכי תבאו אל הארץ ונטעתם כל עץ מאכל וערלתם ערלתו את פריו שלש שנים יהיה לכם ערלים לא יאכל
Ὅταν δὲ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν δίδωσιν ὑμῖν, καὶ καταφυτεύσετε πᾶν ξύλον βρώσιμον καὶ περικαθαριεῖτε τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν αὐτοῦ· ὁ καρπὸς αὐτοῦ τρία ἔτη ἔσται ὑμῖν ἀπερικάθαρτος, οὐ βρωθήσεται·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And when you enter the land which the Tetragrammaton your God gives youⓘ, and you plant every edible tree, you shall purge away its impurity round aboutⓘ: its fruit for three years shall be for you uncleansed, it shall not be eaten;—— Masoretic (MT) ——And when you enter the landⓘ and plant every fruit tree, you shall regard its fruit as foreskinⓘ: for three years it shall be for you uncircumcisedⓘ, it shall not be eaten.

ובשנה הרביעת יהיה כל פריו קדש הלולים ליהוה
καὶ τῷ ἔτει τῷ τετάρτῳ ἔσται πᾶς ὁ καρπὸς αὐτοῦ ἅγιος αἰνετὸς τῷ κυρίῳ·
And in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, praises to the Tetragrammatonⓘ.
25
ובשנה החמישת תאכלו את פריו להוסיף לכם תבואתו אני יהוה אלהיכם
ἐν δὲ τῷ ἔτει τῷ πέμπτῳ φάγεσθε τὸν καρπόν, πρόσθεμα ὑμῖν τὰ γενήματα αὐτοῦ· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
And in the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, so that its yield may increase for youⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton your God.
26
לא תאכלו על הדם לא תנחשו ולא תעוננו
Μὴ ἔσθετε ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων καὶ οὐκ οἰωνιεῖσθε οὐδὲ ὀρνιθοσκοπήσεσθε.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Do not eat upon the mountainsⓘ, and you shall not practice auguries nor observe the flight of birds (ornithoskopía).—— Masoretic (MT) ——Do not eat upon the bloodⓘ; do not practice divinationⓘ nor observe propitious timesⓘ.
27
לא תקפו פאת ראשכם ולא תשחית את פאת זקנך
οὐ ποιήσετε σισόην ἐκ τῆς κόμης τῆς κεφαλῆς ὑμῶν οὐδὲ φθερεῖτε τὴν ὄψιν τοῦ πώγωνος ὑμῶν.
You shall not round off the corner of your headⓘ and you shall not mar the corner of your beardⓘ.
28
ושרט לנפש לא תתנו בבשרכם וכתבת קעקע לא תתנו בכם אני יהוה
καὶ ἐντομίδας ἐπὶ ψυχῇ οὐ ποιήσετε ἐν τῷ σώματι ὑμῶν καὶ γράμματα στικτὰ οὐ ποιήσετε ἐν ὑμῖν· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
And an incision for the deadⓘ you shall not make in your flesh, and a writing of tattooⓘ you shall not put upon yourselves: I am the Tetragrammaton.
29
אל תחלל את בתך להזנותה ולא תזנה הארץ ומלאה הארץ זמה
οὐ βεβηλώσεις τὴν θυγατέρα σου ἐκπορνεῦσαι αὐτήν, καὶ οὐκ ἐκπορνεύσει ἡ γῆ καὶ ἡ γῆ πλησθήσεται ἀνομίας.
Do not profane your daughter by making her prostitute herselfⓘ, lest the land prostitute itself and the land be filled with wickednessⓘ.
30
את שבתתי תשמרו ומקדשי תיראו אני יהוה
Τὰ σάββατά μου φυλάξεσθε καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἁγίων μου φοβηθήσεσθε· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος.
My sabbathsⓘ you shall keep and my sanctuaryⓘ you shall revere: I am the Tetragrammaton.
31
אל תפנו אל האבת ואל הידענים אל תבקשו לטמאה בהם אני יהוה אלהיכם
οὐκ ἐπακολουθήσετε ἐγγαστριμύθοις καὶ τοῖς ἐπαοιδοῖς οὐ προσκολληθήσεσθε ἐκμιανθῆναι ἐν αὐτοῖς· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
Do not turn to the spirits of the deadⓘ and to the soothsayersⓘ do not turn, to defile yourselves with themⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton your God.
32
מפני שיבה תקום והדרת פני זקן ויראת מאלהיך אני יהוה
ἀπὸ προσώπου πολιοῦ ἐξαναστήσῃ καὶ τιμήσεις πρόσωπον πρεσβυτέρου καὶ φοβηθήσῃ τὸν θεόν σου· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
Before the gray head you shall riseⓘ and you shall honor the face of the elderⓘ, and you shall fear your Godⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.
33
וכי יגור אתך גר בארצכם לא תונו אתו
Ἐὰν δέ τις προσέλθῃ προσήλυτος ὑμῖν ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν, οὐ θλίψετε αὐτόν·
And when a stranger resides with youⓘ in your land, you shall not oppress himⓘ.
34
כאזרח מכם יהיה לכם הגר הגר אתכם ואהבת לו כמוך כי גרים הייתם בארץ מצרים אני יהוה אלהיכם
ὡς ὁ αὐτόχθων ἐν ὑμῖν ἔσται ὁ προσήλυτος ὁ προσπορευόμενος πρὸς ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἀγαπήσεις αὐτὸν ὡς σεαυτόν, ὅτι προσήλυτοι ἐγενήθητε ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
As a native among youⓘ shall the stranger who resides with you be for you, and you shall love him as yourselfⓘ, for strangers you were in the land of Egyptⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton your God.
35
לא תעשו עול במשפט במדה במשקל ובמשורה
οὐ ποιήσετε ἄδικον ἐν κρίσει ἐν μέτροις καὶ ἐν σταθμίοις καὶ ἐν ζυγοῖς·
You shall not commit injustice in judgmentⓘ, in the measure of length, of weight, and of capacityⓘ.
36
מאזני צדק אבני צדק איפת צדק והין צדק יהיה לכם אני יהוה אלהיכם אשר הוצאתי אתכם מארץ מצרים
ζυγὰ δίκαια καὶ στάθμια δίκαια καὶ χοῦς δίκαιος ἔσται ὑμῖν· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν ὑμᾶς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Just balances and just weights and a just measureⓘ you shall have: I am the Tetragrammaton your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Just balances, just weights, a just efàh and a just hinⓘ you shall have: I am the Tetragrammaton your God, who brought you out of the land of Egyptⓘ.
37
ושמרתם את כל חקתי ואת כל משפטי ועשיתם אתם אני יהוה
Καὶ φυλάξεσθε πάντα τὸν νόμον μου καὶ πάντα τὰ προστάγματά μου καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτά· ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
And you shall keep all my statutes and all my ordinancesⓘ and you shall put them into practiceⓘ: I am the Tetragrammaton.
