וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
And the Tetragrammaton spoke to Mosheh, saying:

צו את בני ישראל ויקחו אליך שמן זית זך כתית למאור להעלת נר תמיד
Ἔντειλαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ λαβέτωσάν μοι ἔλαιον ἐλάινον καθαρὸν κεκομμένον εἰς φῶς καῦσαι λύχνον διὰ παντός.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——«Command the children of Israèl that they take for meⓘ pure olive oil, hand-beaten — the purest oil, extracted by pressing the olives — to give light, to kindleⓘ a perpetual lamp, that may burn without end.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Commandⓘ the children of Israel to bring you pure, virgin, pressed olive oilⓘ for the luminaryⓘ, to make a lamp go up perpetuallyⓘ.

מחוץ לפרכת העדת באהל מועד יערך אתו אהרן מערב עד בקר לפני יהוה תמיד חקת עולם לדרתיכם
ἔξωθεν τοῦ καταπετάσματος ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καύσουσιν αὐτὸν Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ ἑσπέρας ἕως πρωῒ ἐνώπιον κυρίου ἐνδελεχῶς· νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Outside the veil, in the Tent of Testimony, Aharòn and his sons shall kindle itⓘ from evening to morning before the Tetragrammaton, without interruption: an eternal statute for all your generations.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Outside the veil of the Testimonyⓘ, in the tent of meeting, shall arrange itⓘ Aharon from evening to morningⓘ before the Tetragrammaton perpetually: a perpetual statuteⓘ for your generations.

על המנרה הטהרה יערך את הנרות לפני יהוה תמיד
ἐπὶ τῆς λυχνίας τῆς καθαρᾶς καύσετε τοὺς λύχνους ἔναντι κυρίου ἕως τὸ πρωί.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Upon the pure lampstand you shall kindle the lamps before the Tetragrammaton until the morningⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Upon the pure lampstandⓘ he shall arrange the lamps before the Tetragrammaton perpetually.

ולקחת סלת ואפית אתה שתים עשרה חלות שני עשרנים יהיה החלה האחת
Καὶ λήμψεσθε σεμίδαλιν καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτὴν δώδεκα ἄρτους, δύο δεκάτων ἔσται ὁ ἄρτος ὁ εἷς·
And you shall take fine flourⓘ and you shall bake of it twelve cakesⓘ; two tenthsⓘ shall be each cake.

ושמת אותם שתים מערכות שש המערכת על השלחן הטהר לפני יהוה
καὶ ἐπιθήσετε αὐτοὺς δύο θέματα, ἓξ ἄρτους τὸ ἓν θέμα, ἐπὶ τὴν τράπεζαν τὴν καθαρὰν ἔναντι κυρίου.
And you shall set them in two rowsⓘ, six per row, upon the pure tableⓘ before the Tetragrammaton.

ונתת על המערכת לבנה זכה והיתה ללחם לאזכרה אשה ליהוה
καὶ ἐπιθήσετε ἐπὶ τὸ θέμα λίβανον καθαρὸν καὶ ἅλα, καὶ ἔσονται εἰς ἄρτους εἰς ἀνάμνησιν προκείμενα τῷ κυρίῳ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And you shall put upon each pile pure frankincense and saltⓘ, and they shall be for the loaves a memorial set before the Tetragrammaton.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And you shall put upon each row pure frankincenseⓘ, and it shall be for the bread as a memorialⓘ, a fire-offering to the Tetragrammatonⓘ.

ביום השבת ביום השבת יערכנו לפני יהוה תמיד מאת בני ישראל ברית עולם
τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῶν σαββάτων προθήσεται ἔναντι κυρίου διὰ παντὸς ἐνώπιον τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ διαθήκην αἰώνιον.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——On the day of shabbàt it shall be arranged before the Tetragrammaton perpetually, in the presence of the children of Israèlⓘ as an eternal covenant.—— Masoretic (MT) ——On the day of shabbàt, on the day of shabbàtⓘ he shall arrange it before the Tetragrammaton perpetually, on the part of the children of Israel: a perpetual covenantⓘ.

והיתה לאהרן ולבניו ואכלהו במקום קדש כי קדש קדשים הוא לו מאשי יהוה חק עולם
καὶ ἔσται Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ, καὶ φάγονται αὐτὰ ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ· ἔστιν γὰρ ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων τοῦτο αὐτῷ ἀπὸ τῶν θυσιαζομένων τῷ κυρίῳ, νόμιμον αἰώνιον.
And it shall belong to Aharon and his sonsⓘ, and they shall eat it in a holy placeⓘ, for a most holy thingⓘ it is for him, from the fire-offerings of the Tetragrammatonⓘ: a perpetual statuteⓘ.

ויצא בן אשה ישראלית והוא בן איש מצרי בתוך בני ישראל וינצו במחנה בן הישראלית ואיש הישראלי
Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν υἱὸς γυναικὸς Ισραηλίτιδος καὶ οὗτος ἦν υἱὸς Αἰγυπτίου ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ, καὶ ἐμαχέσαντο ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ ὁ ἐκ τῆς Ισραηλίτιδος καὶ ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὁ Ισραηλίτης,
And the son of an Israelite woman went outⓘ — and he was the son of an Egyptian manⓘ — in the midst of the children of Israel; and they came to strife in the campⓘ the son of the Israelite woman and the Israelite manⓘ.

ויקב בן האשה הישראלית את השם ויקלל ויביאו אתו אל משה ושם אמו שלמית בת דברי למטה דן
καὶ ἐπονομάσας ὁ υἱὸς τῆς γυναικὸς τῆς Ισραηλίτιδος τὸ ὄνομα κατηράσατο, καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν πρὸς Μωυσῆν· καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τῆς μητρὸς αὐτοῦ Σαλωμιθ θυγάτηρ Δαβρι ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Δαν.
And the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Nameⓘ and cursedⓘ; and they brought him to Mosheh — and the name of his mother was Shelomìt, daughter of Divrìⓘ, of the tribe of Danⓘ.

ויניחהו במשמר לפרש להם על פי יהוה
καὶ ἀπέθεντο αὐτὸν εἰς φυλακὴν διακρῖναι αὐτὸν διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And they placed him in custody, under guard, to judge himⓘ through the orderⓘ of the Tetragrammaton.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And they placed him under custodyⓘ until it should be made clear to themⓘ according to the mouth of the Tetragrammatonⓘ.

וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
And the Tetragrammaton spoke to Mosheh, saying:

הוצא את המקלל אל מחוץ למחנה וסמכו כל השמעים את ידיהם על ראשו ורגמו אתו כל העדה
Ἐξάγαγε τὸν καταρασάμενον ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς, καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν πάντες οἱ ἀκούσαντες τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ, καὶ λιθοβολήσουσιν αὐτὸν πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγή.
Bring out the blasphemerⓘ outside the camp, and all who heard shall lay their hands upon his headⓘ, and the whole community shall stone himⓘ.

ואל בני ישראל תדבר לאמר איש איש כי יקלל אלהיו ונשא חטאו
καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λάλησον καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Ἄνθρωπος, ὃς ἐὰν καταράσηται θεόν, ἁμαρτίαν λήμψεται·
And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying: Whoeverⓘ, when he curses his Godⓘ, shall bear his sinⓘ.

ונקב שם יהוה מות יומת רגום ירגמו בו כל העדה כגר כאזרח בנקבו שם יומת
ὀνομάζων δὲ τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου θανάτῳ θανατούσθω· λίθοις λιθοβολείτω αὐτὸν πᾶσα συναγωγὴ Ισραηλ· ἐάν τε προσήλυτος ἐάν τε αὐτόχθων, ἐν τῷ ὀνομάσαι αὐτὸν τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου τελευτάτω.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And he who names the Name of the Tetragrammatonⓘ shall be put to death: the whole community of Israèl shall stone him; whether the proselyte, the stranger, or the native-born, when he pronounces the Name of the Tetragrammatonⓘ let him die.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he who profanely utters the Name of the Tetragrammatonⓘ shall surely be put to deathⓘ; the whole community shall surely stone himⓘ; as the sojourner so the nativeⓘ, when he utters the Name he shall be put to death.

ואיש כי יכה כל נפש אדם מות יומת
καὶ ἄνθρωπος, ὃς ἂν πατάξῃ ψυχὴν ἀνθρώπου καὶ ἀποθάνῃ, θανάτῳ θανατούσθω.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And the man who strikes a human life and he diesⓘ shall be put to death.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he who strikes to death any soul of a manⓘ shall surely be put to death.

ומכה נפש בהמה ישלמנה נפש תחת נפש
καὶ ὃς ἂν πατάξῃ κτῆνος καὶ ἀποθάνῃ, ἀποτεισάτω ψυχὴν ἀντὶ ψυχῆς.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And he who strikes a domestic animal and it diesⓘ shall make restitution life for life.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he who strikes to death a soul of livestock shall pay for itⓘ: life for lifeⓘ.

ואיש כי יתן מום בעמיתו כאשר עשה כן יעשה לו
καὶ ἐάν τις δῷ μῶμον τῷ πλησίον, ὡς ἐποίησεν αὐτῷ, ὡσαύτως ἀντιποιηθήσεται αὐτῷ·
And a man, when he inflicts a blemish upon his neighborⓘ, as he has done so shall it be done to himⓘ.
20
שבר תחת שבר עין תחת עין שן תחת שן כאשר יתן מום באדם כן ינתן בו
σύντριμμα ἀντὶ συντρίμματος, ὀφθαλμὸν ἀντὶ ὀφθαλμοῦ, ὀδόντα ἀντὶ ὀδόντος· καθότι ἂν δῷ μῶμον τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ, οὕτως δοθήσεται αὐτῷ.
Fracture for fractureⓘ, eye for eye, tooth for toothⓘ: as he has inflicted a blemish upon a man, so shall it be inflicted upon him.
21
ומכה בהמה ישלמנה ומכה אדם יומת
ὃς ἂν πατάξῃ ἄνθρωπον καὶ ἀποθάνῃ, θανάτῳ θανατούσθω·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——He who strikes a manⓘ and he diesⓘ shall be put to death.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he who strikes to death a beast shall pay for itⓘ, and he who strikes to death a man shall be put to deathⓘ.

משפט אחד יהיה לכם כגר כאזרח יהיה כי אני יהוה אלהיכם
δικαίωσις μία ἔσται τῷ προσηλύτῳ καὶ τῷ ἐγχωρίῳ, ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.
One single rule of judgmentⓘ you shall have, as for the sojourner so for the nativeⓘ, for I am the Tetragrammaton your Godⓘ.

וידבר משה אל בני ישראל ויוציאו את המקלל אל מחוץ למחנה וירגמו אתו אבן ובני ישראל עשו כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωϋσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐξήγαγον τὸν καταρασάμενον ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς καὶ ἐλιθοβόλησαν αὐτὸν ἐν λίθοις· καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐποίησαν καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ.
And Mosheh spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought out the blasphemerⓘ outside the camp, and they stoned him with stoneⓘ; and the children of Israel did as the Tetragrammaton had commanded Moshehⓘ.
