ותדבר מרים ואהרן במשה על אדות האשה הכשית אשר לקח כי אשה כשית לקח
Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μαριαμ καὶ Ααρων κατὰ Μωυσῆ ἕνεκεν τῆς γυναικὸς τῆς Αἰθιοπίσσης, ἣν ἔλαβεν Μωϋσῆς, ὅτι γυναῖκα Αἰθιόπισσαν ἔλαβεν,
And Miryàm and Aharòn spokeⓘ against Mosheh on account of the Kushite womanⓘ whom he had taken, for he had taken a Kushite woman.

ויאמרו הרק אך במשה דבר יהוה הלא גם בנו דבר וישמע יהוה
καὶ εἶπαν Μὴ Μωυσῇ μόνῳ λελάληκεν κύριος; οὐχὶ καὶ ἡμῖν ἐλάλησεν; καὶ ἤκουσεν κύριος.
And they said: Is it perhaps only, precisely through Mosheh, that the Tetragrammaton has spoken?ⓘ Has he not spoken also through us?ⓘ And the Tetragrammaton heardⓘ.

והאיש משה ענו עניו מאד מכל האדם אשר על פני האדמה
καὶ ὁ ἄνθρωπος Μωϋσῆς πραὺς σφόδρα παρὰ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς ὄντας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
And the man Mosheh was humbleⓘ beyond measure, more than any man who is upon the face of the earthⓘ.

ויאמר יהוה פתאם אל משה ואל אהרן ואל מרים צאו שלשתכם אל אהל מועד ויצאו שלשתם
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος παραχρῆμα πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Μαριαμ καὶ Ααρων Ἐξέλθατε ὑμεῖς οἱ τρεῖς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου· καὶ ἐξῆλθον οἱ τρεῖς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And the Tetragrammaton said at once to Moshè, to Miryàm and to Aharòn: «Go out, the three of you, to the Tent of testimony»; and the three went out to the Tent of testimonyⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And the Tetragrammaton said suddenlyⓘ to Mosheh, to Aharòn and to Miryàm: Go out, the three of you, toward the Tent of meetingⓘ. And the three went out.

וירד יהוה בעמוד ענן ויעמד פתח האהל ויקרא אהרן ומרים ויצאו שניהם
καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν στύλῳ νεφέλης καὶ ἔστη ἐπὶ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἐκλήθησαν Ααρων καὶ Μαριαμ καὶ ἐξήλθοσαν ἀμφότεροι.
And the Tetragrammaton came down in a pillar of cloudⓘ and stood at the entrance of the Tent; he called Aharòn and Miryàm, and the two went out.

ויאמר שמעו נא דברי אם יהיה נביאכם יהוה במראה אליו אתודע בחלום אדבר בו
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Ἀκούσατε τῶν λόγων μου· ἐὰν γένηται προφήτης ὑμῶν κυρίῳ, ἐν ὁράματι αὐτῷ γνωσθήσομαι καὶ ἐν ὕπνῳ λαλήσω αὐτῷ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And he said to them: «Hear my words. If there be a prophet of the Tetragrammatonⓘ among you, in a vision I will make myself known to him, in a dream I will speak to him.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he said: Hear, I pray you, my words: if there be a prophet among youⓘ, I, the Tetragrammaton, in a vision will make myself known to himⓘ, in a dream I will speak with himⓘ.

לא כן עבדי משה בכל ביתי נאמן הוא
οὐχ οὕτως ὁ θεράπων μου Μωϋσῆς· ἐν ὅλῳ τῷ οἴκῳ μου πιστός ἐστιν·
Not so my servant Moshehⓘ: in all my house he is faithfulⓘ.

פה אל פה אדבר בו ומראה ולא בחידת ותמנת יהוה יביט ומדוע לא יראתם לדבר בעבדי במשה
στόμα κατὰ στόμα λαλήσω αὐτῷ, ἐν εἴδει καὶ οὐ δι’ αἰνιγμάτων, καὶ τὴν δόξαν κυρίου εἶδεν· καὶ διὰ τί οὐκ ἐφοβήθητε καταλαλῆσαι κατὰ τοῦ θεράποντός μου Μωυσῆ;
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Mouth to mouth I will speak with him, in visible form and not through riddles, and the glory of the Tetragrammaton he sawⓘ; and why then have you not feared to speak against my servant Moshè?».—— Masoretic (MT) ——Mouth to mouth I speak with himⓘ, in plain sight and not through riddlesⓘ, and the form of the Tetragrammaton he beholdsⓘ. And why have you not feared to speak against my servant, against Mosheh?

ויחר אף יהוה בם וילך
καὶ ὀργὴ θυμοῦ κυρίου ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἀπῆλθεν.
And the anger of the Tetragrammaton was kindled against themⓘ, and he departed.

והענן סר מעל האהל והנה מרים מצרעת כשלג ויפן אהרן אל מרים והנה מצרעת
καὶ ἡ νεφέλη ἀπέστη ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς, καὶ ἰδοὺ Μαριαμ λεπρῶσα ὡσεὶ χιών· καὶ ἐπέβλεψεν Ααρων ἐπὶ Μαριαμ, καὶ ἰδοὺ λεπρῶσα.
And the cloud withdrew from above the Tent, and behold, Miryàm was leprous like snowⓘ; Aharòn turned toward Miryàm and behold: leprous.

ויאמר אהרן אל משה בי אדני אל נא תשת עלינו חטאת אשר נואלנו ואשר חטאנו
καὶ εἶπεν Ααρων πρὸς Μωυσῆν Δέομαι, κύριε, μὴ συνεπιθῇ ἡμῖν ἁμαρτίαν, διότι ἠγνοήσαμεν καθότι ἡμάρτομεν·
And Aharòn said to Mosheh: I pray you, my lordⓘ, lay not, I pray, upon us the sinⓘ for which we have acted foolishly and have sinnedⓘ.

אל נא תהי כמת אשר בצאתו מרחם אמנו ויאכל חצי בשרו
μὴ γένηται ὡσεὶ ἴσον θανάτῳ, ὡσεὶ ἔκτρωμα ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ μήτρας μητρὸς καὶ κατεσθίει τὸ ἥμισυ τῶν σαρκῶν αὐτῆς.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Let her not become like the dead, like an abortionⓘ that comes out of its mother's womb, and half of its flesh is already devoured.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Let her not be, I pray, like one deadⓘ, who coming out of our mother's womb has already had half of its flesh devouredⓘ.

ויצעק משה אל יהוה לאמר אל נא רפא נא לה
καὶ ἐβόησεν Μωϋσῆς πρὸς κύριον λέγων Ὁ θεός, δέομαί σου, ἴασαι αὐτήν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And Moshè cried out to the Tetragrammaton, saying: «O Godⓘ, I pray you, heal her».—— Masoretic (MT) ——And Mosheh cried out to the Tetragrammatonⓘ, saying: God, I pray, heal her, I prayⓘ.

ויאמר יהוה אל משה ואביה ירק ירק בפניה הלא תכלם שבעת ימים תסגר שבעת ימים מחוץ למחנה ואחר תאסף
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Εἰ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς πτύων ἐνέπτυσεν εἰς τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτῆς, οὐκ ἐντραπήσεται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας; ἀφορισθήτω ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσεται.
And the Tetragrammaton said to Mosheh: Had her father but spat in her faceⓘ, would she not bear shameⓘ for seven days? Let her be confined seven days outside the campⓘ, and afterward let her be gathered backⓘ.

ותסגר מרים מחוץ למחנה שבעת ימים והעם לא נסע עד האסף מרים
καὶ ἀφωρίσθη Μαριαμ ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας· καὶ ὁ λαὸς οὐκ ἐξῆρεν, ἕως ἐκαθαρίσθη Μαριαμ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And Miryàm was separated outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not strike the tents, until Miryàm was purifiedⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And Miryàm was confined outside the camp seven days; and the people did not set outⓘ until Miryàm was gathered back.

ואחר נסעו העם מחצרות ויחנו במדבר פארן
Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξῆρεν ὁ λαὸς ἐξ Ασηρωθ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τοῦ Φαραν.
And afterward the people set out from Chatzeròtⓘ and they encamped in the wilderness of Parànⓘ.
