והיה כי יבאו עליך כל הדברים האלה הברכה והקללה אשר נתתי לפניך והשבת אל לבבך בכל הגוים אשר הדיחך יהוה אלהיך שמה
Καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν ἔλθωσιν ἐπὶ σὲ πάντα τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα, ἡ εὐλογία καὶ ἡ κατάρα, ἣν ἔδωκα πρὸ προσώπου σου, καὶ δέξῃ εἰς τὴν καρδίαν σου ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, οὗ ἐάν σε διασκορπίσῃ κύριος ἐκεῖ,
And it shall come to pass, when they come upon youⓘ all these things, the blessing and the curseⓘ which I have set before you, and you call them back to your heartⓘ among all the nationsⓘ where the Tetragrammaton your God will have driven youⓘ, there.

ושבת עד יהוה אלהיך ושמעת בקלו ככל אשר אנכי מצוך היום אתה ובניך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך
καὶ ἐπιστραφήσῃ ἐπὶ κύριον τὸν θεόν σου καὶ ὑπακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς αὐτοῦ κατὰ πάντα, ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον, ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου,
And you shall return as far asⓘ the Tetragrammaton your God and you shall obey his voiceⓘ, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soulⓘ.

ושב יהוה אלהיך את שבותך ורחמך ושב וקבצך מכל העמים אשר הפיצך יהוה אלהיך שמה
καὶ ἰάσεται κύριος τὰς ἁμαρτίας σου καὶ ἐλεήσει σε καὶ πάλιν συνάξει σε ἐκ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν, εἰς οὓς διεσκόρπισέν σε κύριος ἐκεῖ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——and the Tetragrammaton will heal your sinsⓘ and will have mercy on you, and again will gather you from all the nations, among which the Tetragrammaton had scattered you there.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Then the Tetragrammaton your God will restore your fortunesⓘ and will have compassion on youⓘ, and again will gather youⓘ from all the peoples where the Tetragrammaton your God had scattered youⓘ, there.

אם יהיה נדחך בקצה השמים משם יקבצך יהוה אלהיך ומשם יקחך
ἐὰν ᾖ ἡ διασπορά σου ἀπ’ ἄκρου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἕως ἄκρου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ἐκεῖθεν συνάξει σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου, καὶ ἐκεῖθεν λήμψεταί σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——If your diasporaⓘ be from one end of heaven to the end of heavenⓘ, from there the Tetragrammaton your God will gather you and from there the Tetragrammaton your God will take you;—— Masoretic (MT) ——Even if your scattered ones wereⓘ at the end of the heavensⓘ, from there the Tetragrammaton your God will gather you, and from there he will take you.

והביאך יהוה אלהיך אל הארץ אשר ירשו אבתיך וירשתה והיטבך והרבך מאבתיך
καὶ εἰσάξει σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ πατέρες σου, καὶ κληρονομήσεις αὐτήν· καὶ εὖ σε ποιήσει καὶ πλεοναστόν σε ποιήσει ὑπὲρ τοὺς πατέρας σου.
And he will bring you inⓘ the Tetragrammaton your God into the land that your fathers inheritedⓘ, and you shall possess it; and he will do you goodⓘ and will make you more numerous than your fathersⓘ.

ומל יהוה אלהיך את לבבך ואת לבב זרעך לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך למען חייך
καὶ περικαθαριεῖ κύριος τὴν καρδίαν σου καὶ τὴν καρδίαν τοῦ σπέρματός σου ἀγαπᾶν κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου, ἵνα ζῇς σύ.
And will circumciseⓘ the Tetragrammaton your God your heartⓘ and the heart of your descendants, to loveⓘ the Tetragrammaton your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may liveⓘ.

ונתן יהוה אלהיך את כל האלות האלה על איביך ועל שנאיך אשר רדפוך
καὶ δώσει κύριος ὁ θεός σου τὰς ἀρὰς ταύτας ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς μισοῦντάς σε, οἳ ἐδίωξάν σε.
And the Tetragrammaton your God will lay all these imprecationsⓘ upon your enemiesⓘ and upon those who hate youⓘ, who have persecuted youⓘ.

ואתה תשוב ושמעת בקול יהוה ועשית את כל מצותיו אשר אנכי מצוך היום
καὶ σὺ ἐπιστραφήσῃ καὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου καὶ ποιήσεις τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ, ὅσας ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον,
And you will returnⓘ and will obey the voice of the Tetragrammaton and will put into practiceⓘ all his commandmentsⓘ which today I command you.

והותירך יהוה אלהיך בכל מעשה ידך בפרי בטנך ובפרי בהמתך ובפרי אדמתך לטובה כי ישוב יהוה לשוש עליך לטוב כאשר שש על אבתיך
καὶ πολυωρήσει σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ τῶν χειρῶν σου, ἐν τοῖς ἐκγόνοις τῆς κοιλίας σου καὶ ἐν τοῖς γενήμασιν τῆς γῆς σου καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐκγόνοις τῶν κτηνῶν σου· ὅτι ἐπιστρέψει κύριος ὁ θεός σου εὐφρανθῆναι ἐπὶ σὲ εἰς ἀγαθά, καθότι ηὐφράνθη ἐπὶ τοῖς πατράσιν σου,
And he will give you overflowing abundanceⓘ the Tetragrammaton your God in every work of your handⓘ, in the fruit of your wombⓘ, in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your soilⓘ, for good; for the Tetragrammaton will again rejoice over youⓘ, as he rejoiced over your fathers,

כי תשמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשמר מצותיו וחקתיו הכתובה בספר התורה הזה כי תשוב אל יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך
ἐὰν εἰσακούσῃς τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου φυλάσσεσθαι καὶ ποιεῖν πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς κρίσεις αὐτοῦ τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τοῦ νόμου τούτου, ἐὰν ἐπιστραφῇς ἐπὶ κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——if you obey the voice of the Tetragrammaton your God, keeping and putting into practice all his commandments and his statutes and his judgmentsⓘ written in the book of this law, if you turn to the Tetragrammaton your God with all your heart and with all your soul.—— Masoretic (MT) ——when you obey the voice of the Tetragrammaton your God, keeping his commandments and his statutesⓘ written in this book of the Toràhⓘ, when you return to the Tetragrammaton your God with all your heart and with all your soulⓘ.

כי המצוה הזאת אשר אנכי מצוך היום לא נפלאת הוא ממך ולא רחקה הוא
Ὅτι ἡ ἐντολὴ αὕτη, ἣν ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον, οὐχ ὑπέρογκός ἐστιν οὐδὲ μακρὰν ἀπὸ σοῦ.
For this commandmentⓘ which I command you today is not too difficultⓘ for you, and it is not far offⓘ.

לא בשמים הוא לאמר מי יעלה לנו השמימה ויקחה לנו וישמענו אתה ונעשנה
οὐκ ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἄνω ἐστὶν λέγων Τίς ἀναβήσεται ἡμῖν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ λήμψεται αὐτὴν ἡμῖν; καὶ ἀκούσαντες αὐτὴν ποιήσομεν.
It is not in the heavensⓘ, that you should have to say: «Who will go up to heaven for usⓘ and take it for us and make us hear it, so that we may put it into practice?».

ולא מעבר לים הוא לאמר מי יעבר לנו אל עבר הים ויקחה לנו וישמענו אתה ונעשנה
οὐδὲ πέραν τῆς θαλάσσης ἐστὶν λέγων Τίς διαπεράσει ἡμῖν εἰς τὸ πέραν τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ λήμψεται ἡμῖν αὐτήν; καὶ ἀκουστὴν ἡμῖν ποιήσει αὐτήν, καὶ ποιήσομεν.
And it is not beyond the seaⓘ, that you should have to say: «Who will cross over the sea for us and take it for us and make us hear it, so that we may put it into practice?».

כי קרוב אליך הדבר מאד בפיך ובלבבך לעשתו
ἔστιν σου ἐγγὺς τὸ ῥῆμα σφόδρα ἐν τῷ στόματί σου καὶ ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου καὶ ἐν ταῖς χερσίν σου αὐτὸ ποιεῖν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——very near to you is the word, in your mouth and in your heart and in your handsⓘ, to put it into practice.—— Masoretic (MT) ——For very near to you is the Wordⓘ, in your mouth and in your heartⓘ, to put it into practiceⓘ.

ראה נתתי לפניך היום את החיים ואת הטוב ואת המות ואת הרע
Ἰδοὺ δέδωκα πρὸ προσώπου σου σήμερον τὴν ζωὴν καὶ τὸν θάνατον, τὸ ἀγαθὸν καὶ τὸ κακόν.
Seeⓘ: I have set today before you life and goodⓘ, death and evilⓘ.

אשר אנכי מצוך היום לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך ללכת בדרכיו ולשמר מצותיו וחקתיו ומשפטיו וחיית ורבית וברכך יהוה אלהיך בארץ אשר אתה בא שמה לרשתה
ἐὰν εἰσακούσῃς τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου, ἃς ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον, ἀγαπᾶν κύριον τὸν θεόν σου, πορεύεσθαι ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ, φυλάσσεσθαι τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς κρίσεις αὐτοῦ, καὶ ζήσεσθε καὶ πολλοὶ ἔσεσθε, καὶ εὐλογήσει σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ, εἰς ἣν εἰσπορεύῃ ἐκεῖ κληρονομῆσαι αὐτήν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——If you obeyⓘ the commandments of the Tetragrammaton your God, which I command you today, to love the Tetragrammaton your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his statutes and his judgmentsⓘ, then you shall live and be numerous, and the Tetragrammaton your God will bless you in all the land where you enter there to inherit it.—— Masoretic (MT) ——For I command you todayⓘ to love the Tetragrammaton your Godⓘ, to walk in his waysⓘ and to keep his commandments, his statutes and his ordinancesⓘ, and you shall live and multiplyⓘ, and the Tetragrammaton your God will bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of itⓘ.

ואם יפנה לבבך ולא תשמע ונדחת והשתחוית לאלהים אחרים ועבדתם
καὶ ἐὰν μεταστῇ ἡ καρδία σου καὶ μὴ εἰσακούσῃς καὶ πλανηθεὶς προσκυνήσῃς θεοῖς ἑτέροις καὶ λατρεύσῃς αὐτοῖς,
But if your heart turns awayⓘ and you do not obey, and you let yourself be led astrayⓘ and you bow down to other godsⓘ and serve themⓘ,

הגדתי לכם היום כי אבד תאבדון לא תאריכן ימים על האדמה אשר אתה עבר את הירדן לבא שמה לרשתה
ἀναγγέλλω σοι σήμερον ὅτι ἀπωλείᾳ ἀπολεῖσθε καὶ οὐ μὴ πολυήμεροι γένησθε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ἧς κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι, εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ιορδάνην ἐκεῖ κληρονομῆσαι αὐτήν.
I announce to you todayⓘ that you shall surely perishⓘ: you shall not prolong your daysⓘ upon the soil where you are crossing the Yardènⓘ to enter it and take possession of it.

העידתי בכם היום את השמים ואת הארץ החיים והמות נתתי לפניך הברכה והקללה ובחרת בחיים למען תחיה אתה וזרעך
διαμαρτύρομαι ὑμῖν σήμερον τόν τε οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν Τὴν ζωὴν καὶ τὸν θάνατον δέδωκα πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν, τὴν εὐλογίαν καὶ τὴν κατάραν· ἔκλεξαι τὴν ζωήν, ἵνα ζῇς σὺ καὶ τὸ σπέρμα σου,
I call today to witnessⓘ against you the heaven and the earthⓘ: life and death I have set before you, the blessing and the curse; choose therefore lifeⓘ, that you may live, you and your descendantsⓘ,

לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך לשמע בקלו ולדבקה בו כי הוא חייך וארך ימיך לשבת על האדמה אשר נשבע יהוה לאבתיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב לתת להם
ἀγαπᾶν κύριον τὸν θεόν σου, εἰσακούειν τῆς φωνῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔχεσθαι αὐτοῦ· ὅτι τοῦτο ἡ ζωή σου καὶ ἡ μακρότης τῶν ἡμερῶν σου κατοικεῖν σε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ἧς ὤμοσεν κύριος τοῖς πατράσιν σου Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ δοῦναι αὐτοῖς.
loving the Tetragrammaton your Godⓘ, obeying his voice and clinging to himⓘ; for he is your life and the length of your daysⓘ, to dwell upon the soilⓘ which the Tetragrammaton swore to your fathersⓘ, to Avrahàm, to Yitzchàq and to Yaʿaqòv, to give it to them.
