ויצו משה וזקני ישראל את העם לאמר שמר את כל המצוה אשר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום
Καὶ προσέταξεν Μωϋσῆς καὶ ἡ γερουσία Ισραηλ λέγων Φυλάσσεσθε πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς ταύτας, ὅσας ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν σήμερον.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And Moshè gave command together with the council of the elders of Israel, saying: Keep all these commandments ⓘ, as many as I today entrust to you.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And Mosheh commandedⓘ together with the elders of Israelⓘ to the people, saying: Observeⓘ the whole commandⓘ that I command you today.

והיה ביום אשר תעברו את הירדן אל הארץ אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך והקמת לך אבנים גדלות ושדת אתם בשיד
καὶ ἔσται ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ διαβῆτε τὸν Ιορδάνην εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι, καὶ στήσεις σεαυτῷ λίθους μεγάλους καὶ κονιάσεις αὐτοὺς κονίᾳ
And it shall come to pass, on the day when you cross the Yardènⓘ toward the land that the Tetragrammaton your God gives you, you shall erect for yourselfⓘ great stonesⓘ and you shall plaster them with limeⓘ.

וכתבת עליהן את כל דברי התורה הזאת בעברך למען אשר תבא אל הארץ אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך ארץ זבת חלב ודבש כאשר דבר יהוה אלהי אבתיך לך
καὶ γράψεις ἐπὶ τῶν λίθων πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου, ὡς ἂν διαβῆτε τὸν Ιορδάνην, ἡνίκα ἐὰν εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων σου δίδωσίν σοι, γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι, ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων σού σοι·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——and you shall write upon those stones all the words of this law, when you cross the Jordan, once you have entered the land that the Tetragrammaton the God of your fathers gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey ⓘ, as the Tetragrammaton the God of your fathers ⓘ has told you.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And you shall write upon them all the words of this Toràhⓘ in your crossing, so that you may enterⓘ the land that the Tetragrammaton your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honeyⓘ, as he has told youⓘ the Tetragrammaton, the God of your fathers.

והיה בעברכם את הירדן תקימו את האבנים האלה אשר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום בהר עיבל ושדת אותם בשיד
καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν διαβῆτε τὸν Ιορδάνην, στήσετε τοὺς λίθους τούτους, οὓς ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον, ἐν ὄρει Γαιβαλ καὶ κονιάσεις αὐτοὺς κονίᾳ.
And it shall come to pass, in your crossing of the Yardèn, that you shall erect these stonesⓘ, as I command you today, on Mount ʿEvàlⓘ, and you shall plaster them with lime.

ובנית שם מזבח ליהוה אלהיך מזבח אבנים לא תניף עליהם ברזל
καὶ οἰκοδομήσεις ἐκεῖ θυσιαστήριον κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου, θυσιαστήριον ἐκ λίθων, οὐκ ἐπιβαλεῖς ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς σίδηρον·
And you shall build there an altarⓘ to the Tetragrammaton your God, an altar of stones: you shall not lift iron upon themⓘ.

אבנים שלמות תבנה את מזבח יהוה אלהיך והעלית עליו עולת ליהוה אלהיך
λίθους ὁλοκλήρους οἰκοδομήσεις θυσιαστήριον κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου καὶ ἀνοίσεις ἐπ’ αὐτὸ ὁλοκαυτώματα κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου
Wholeⓘ stones you shall build as the altar of the Tetragrammaton your God, and upon it you shall offer up burnt offeringsⓘ to the Tetragrammaton your God.

וזבחת שלמים ואכלת שם ושמחת לפני יהוה אלהיך
καὶ θύσεις ἐκεῖ θυσίαν σωτηρίου κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου καὶ φάγῃ καὶ ἐμπλησθήσῃ καὶ εὐφρανθήσῃ ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου.
And you shall sacrifice peace offeringsⓘ and you shall eat there and rejoiceⓘ before the Tetragrammaton your God.

וכתבת על האבנים את כל דברי התורה הזאת באר היטב
καὶ γράψεις ἐπὶ τῶν λίθων πάντα τὸν νόμον τοῦτον σαφῶς σφόδρα.
And you shall write upon the stonesⓘ all the words of this Toràh clearly, distinctlyⓘ.

וידבר משה והכהנים הלוים אל כל ישראל לאמר הסכת ושמע ישראל היום הזה נהיית לעם ליהוה אלהיך
Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωϋσῆς καὶ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευῖται παντὶ Ισραηλ λέγοντες Σιώπα καὶ ἄκουε, Ισραηλ· ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ γέγονας εἰς λαὸν κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου·
And Mosheh spoke together with the levitical priestsⓘ to all Israel, saying: Be silent and hearⓘ, O Israel! On this day you have become a peopleⓘ for the Tetragrammaton your God.

ושמעת בקול יהוה אלהיך ועשית את מצותו ואת חקיו אשר אנכי מצוך היום
καὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου καὶ ποιήσεις πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ, ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——and you shall hearken to the voice of the Tetragrammaton your God and put into practice all his commandments ⓘ and his statutes, as many as I today prescribe to you.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And you shall hearken to the voiceⓘ of the Tetragrammaton your God and you shall do his commands and his statutesⓘ that I command you today.

ויצו משה את העם ביום ההוא לאמר
Καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωϋσῆς τῷ λαῷ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων
And Mosheh commanded the people on that day, saying:

אלה יעמדו לברך את העם על הר גרזים בעברכם את הירדן שמעון ולוי ויהודה ויששכר ויוסף ובנימן
Οὗτοι στήσονται εὐλογεῖν τὸν λαὸν ἐν ὄρει Γαριζιν διαβάντες τὸν Ιορδάνην· Συμεων, Λευι, Ιουδας, Ισσαχαρ, Ιωσηφ καὶ Βενιαμιν.
These shall standⓘ to bless the peopleⓘ on Mount Garizìmⓘ, in your crossing of the Yardèn: Shimʿònⓘ, Levìⓘ, Yehudàhⓘ, Yissakhàrⓘ, Yosèfⓘ and Binyamìnⓘ.

ואלה יעמדו על הקללה בהר עיבל ראובן גד ואשר וזבולן דן ונפתלי
καὶ οὗτοι στήσονται ἐπὶ τῆς κατάρας ἐν ὄρει Γαιβαλ· Ρουβην, Γαδ καὶ Ασηρ, Ζαβουλων, Δαν καὶ Νεφθαλι.
And these shall stand upon the curseⓘ on Mount ʿEvàl: Reuvènⓘ, Gad and Ashèrⓘ, Zevulùnⓘ, Danⓘ and Naftalìⓘ.

וענו הלוים ואמרו אל כל איש ישראל קול רם
καὶ ἀποκριθέντες οἱ Λευῖται ἐροῦσιν παντὶ Ισραηλ φωνῇ μεγάλῃ
And the levites shall answerⓘ and they shall say to every man of Israel with a loud voiceⓘ:

ארור האיש אשר יעשה פסל ומסכה תועבת יהוה מעשה ידי חרש ושם בסתר וענו כל העם ואמרו אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ἄνθρωπος, ὅστις ποιήσει γλυπτὸν καὶ χωνευτόν, βδέλυγμα κυρίῳ, ἔργον χειρῶν τεχνίτου, καὶ θήσει αὐτὸ ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ· καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ἐροῦσιν Γένοιτο.
Cursedⓘ be the man who makes a carved or cast imageⓘ, an abominationⓘ to the Tetragrammaton, the work of a craftsman's hand, and sets it in secretⓘ; and all the people shall answer and say: Amènⓘ.

ארור מקלה אביו ואמו ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ ἀτιμάζων πατέρα αὐτοῦ ἢ μητέρα αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Cursed be the one who dishonours his father or his mother ⓘ. And all the people shall say: So be it.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Cursed be the one who treats with contemptⓘ his father and his motherⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.

ארור מסיג גבול רעהו ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ μετατιθεὶς ὅρια τοῦ πλησίον· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who moves the boundaryⓘ of his neighbourⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.

ארור משגה עור בדרך ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ πλανῶν τυφλὸν ἐν ὁδῷ· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who makes the blind go astrayⓘ on the roadⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.
19
ארור מטה משפט גר יתום ואלמנה ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὃς ἂν ἐκκλίνῃ κρίσιν προσηλύτου καὶ ὀρφανοῦ καὶ χήρας· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who bends the rightⓘ of the sojourner, of the orphan and of the widowⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.
20
ארור שכב עם אשת אביו כי גלה כנף אביו ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ γυναικὸς τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἀπεκάλυψεν συγκάλυμμα τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who lies with his father's wifeⓘ, since he has uncovered his father's skirtⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.
21
ארור שכב עם כל בהמה ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ παντὸς κτήνους· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who lies with any beastⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.
22
ארור שכב עם אחתו בת אביו או בת אמו ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ ἀδελφῆς ἐκ πατρὸς ἢ ἐκ μητρὸς αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his motherⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.

ארור שכב עם חתנתו ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ πενθερᾶς αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο. Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ ἀδελφῆς γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Cursed be the one who lies with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say: So be it. Cursed be the one who lies with his wife's sister ⓘ. And all the people shall say: So be it.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Cursed be the one who lies with his mother-in-lawⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.

ארור מכה רעהו בסתר ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ τύπτων τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ δόλῳ· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who strikes his neighbour in secretⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.

ארור לקח שחד להכות נפש דם נקי ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος ὃς ἂν λάβῃ δῶρα πατάξαι ψυχὴν αἵματος ἀθῴου· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
Cursed be the one who takes a gift to strike down a lifeⓘ, innocent bloodⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.

ארור אשר לא יקים את דברי התורה הזאת לעשות אותם ואמר כל העם אמן
Ἐπικατάρατος πᾶς ἄνθρωπος, ὃς οὐκ ἐμμενεῖ ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς λόγοις τοῦ νόμου τούτου τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτούς· καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——**Cursed be every man ⓘ who does not remain firm in all the words ⓘ of this law, to put them into practice. And all the people shall say: So be it.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Cursed be the one who does not hold firmⓘ the words of this Toràh to put them into practiceⓘ; and all the people shall say: Amèn.
