וזאת הברכה אשר ברך משה איש האלהים את בני ישראל לפני מותו
Καὶ αὕτη ἡ εὐλογία, ἣν εὐλόγησεν Μωϋσῆς ἄνθρωπος τοῦ θεοῦ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ πρὸ τῆς τελευτῆς αὐτοῦ·
And this is the blessingⓘ with which Mosheh, man of Godⓘ, blessed the children of Israel before his deathⓘ.

ויאמר יהוה מסיני בא וזרח משעיר למו הופיע מהר פארן ואתה מרבבת קדש מימינו אשדת אש דת למו
καὶ εἶπεν Κύριος ἐκ Σινα ἥκει καὶ ἐπέφανεν ἐκ Σηιρ ἡμῖν καὶ κατέσπευσεν ἐξ ὄρους Φαραν σὺν μυριάσιν Καδης, ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ ἄγγελοι μετ’ αὐτοῦ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And he said: the Tetragrammaton has come from Sinai, has appeared to us from Seir, has hastened from Mount Paran with myriads of Kadeshⓘ; at his right hand angels with himⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he said: the Tetragrammaton came from Sinaiⓘ and shone forth from Seʿìrⓘ toward them, blazed from Mount Parànⓘ, and came from myriads of holy onesⓘ; from his right hand a fire of lawⓘ for them.

אף חבב עמים כל קדשיו בידך והם תכו לרגלך ישא מדברתיך
καὶ ἐφείσατο τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάντες οἱ ἡγιασμένοι ὑπὸ τὰς χεῖράς σου· καὶ οὗτοι ὑπὸ σέ εἰσιν, καὶ ἐδέξατο ἀπὸ τῶν λόγων αὐτοῦ
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And he had regard for his people, and all his sanctified onesⓘ are under your hands; and these are under you, and each received of his words.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Yes, he loves the peoplesⓘ; all his holy onesⓘ are in your hand, and they bow down at your feetⓘ, each receives from your wordsⓘ.

תורה צוה לנו משה מורשה קהלת יעקב
νόμον, ὃν ἐνετείλατο ἡμῖν Μωϋσῆς, κληρονομίαν συναγωγαῖς Ιακωβ.
The Toràhⓘ Mosheh commanded us, an inheritanceⓘ of the assembly of Yaʿaqòvⓘ.

ויהי בישרון מלך בהתאסף ראשי עם יחד שבטי ישראל
καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῷ ἠγαπημένῳ ἄρχων συναχθέντων ἀρχόντων λαῶν ἅμα φυλαῖς Ισραηλ.
And he was in Yeshurùnⓘ a king, when the heads of the people gatheredⓘ, together the tribes of Israel.

יחי ראובן ואל ימת ויהי מתיו מספר
Ζήτω Ρουβην καὶ μὴ ἀποθανέτω καὶ ἔστω πολὺς ἐν ἀριθμῷ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Let Reuben live and not die, and let him be many in number manyⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Let Reʾuvèn liveⓘ and not die, and let his men be a numberⓘ.

וזאת ליהודה ויאמר שמע יהוה קול יהודה ואל עמו תביאנו ידיו רב לו ועזר מצריו תהיה
Καὶ αὕτη Ιουδα Εἰσάκουσον, κύριε, φωνῆς Ιουδα, καὶ εἰς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ εἰσέλθοισαν· αἱ χεῖρες αὐτοῦ διακρινοῦσιν αὐτῷ, καὶ βοηθὸς ἐκ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτοῦ ἔσῃ.
And this for Yehudàhⓘ; and he said: Hear, Tetragrammaton, the voice of Yehudàh, and bring him back to his peopleⓘ; let his hands contend for himⓘ, and be a help against his adversariesⓘ.

וללוי אמר תמיך ואוריך לאיש חסידך אשר נסיתו במסה תריבהו על מי מריבה
Καὶ τῷ Λευι εἶπεν Δότε Λευι δήλους αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀλήθειαν αὐτοῦ τῷ ἀνδρὶ τῷ ὁσίῳ, ὃν ἐπείρασαν αὐτὸν ἐν πείρᾳ, ἐλοιδόρησαν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀντιλογίας·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And to Levi he said: Give to Leviⓘ his revelationsⓘ and his truth to the holy man, whom they tested in the trialⓘ, whom they reviled at the water of strifeⓘ;—— Masoretic (MT) ——And for Levìⓘ he said: Your Tummìm and your Urìmⓘ be for the man of your fidelityⓘ, whom you tested at Massàhⓘ, with whom you contended at the waters of Merivàhⓘ.

האמר לאביו ולאמו לא ראיתיו ואת אחיו לא הכיר ואת בנו בניו לא ידע כי שמרו אמרתך ובריתך ינצרו
ὁ λέγων τῷ πατρὶ καὶ τῇ μητρί Οὐχ ἑόρακά σε, καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐπέγνω καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ἀπέγνω· ἐφύλαξεν τὰ λόγιά σου καὶ τὴν διαθήκην σου διετήρησεν.
He says of his father and his motherⓘ: «I have not seen him»; and his brothers he did not acknowledgeⓘ, and his children he did not know, because they kept your wordⓘ and they guarded your covenantⓘ.

יורו משפטיך ליעקב ותורתך לישראל ישימו קטורה באפך וכליל על מזבחך
δηλώσουσιν τὰ δικαιώματά σου τῷ Ιακωβ καὶ τὸν νόμον σου τῷ Ισραηλ· ἐπιθήσουσιν θυμίαμα ἐν ὀργῇ σου διὰ παντὸς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριόν σου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——They will declare your judgments to Iakòb and your law to Israel; they will place the incense in your wrathⓘ, continuallyⓘ upon your altar.—— Masoretic (MT) ——They will teach your judgments to Yaʿaqòvⓘ and your Toràh to Israel; they will place incense at your nostrilsⓘ and the whole burnt offeringⓘ upon your altar.

ברך יהוה חילו ופעל ידיו תרצה מחץ מתנים קמיו ומשנאיו מן יקומון
εὐλόγησον, κύριε, τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ δέξαι· κάταξον ὀσφὺν ἐχθρῶν ἐπανεστηκότων αὐτῷ, καὶ οἱ μισοῦντες αὐτὸν μὴ ἀναστήτωσαν.
Bless, Tetragrammaton, his strengthⓘ, and the work of his hands accept with favorⓘ; shatter the loins of his enemiesⓘ and of those who hate him, so that they rise no moreⓘ.

לבנימן אמר ידיד יהוה ישכן לבטח עליו חפף עליו כל היום ובין כתיפיו שכן
Καὶ τῷ Βενιαμιν εἶπεν Ἠγαπημένος ὑπὸ κυρίου κατασκηνώσει πεποιθώς, καὶ ὁ θεὸς σκιάζει ἐπ’ αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας, καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ὤμων αὐτοῦ κατέπαυσεν.
For Binyamìnⓘ he said: Beloved of the Tetragrammatonⓘ dwells in safetyⓘ beside him; he protects himⓘ all the day long, and between his shouldersⓘ he dwells.

וליוסף אמר מברכת יהוה ארצו ממגד שמים מטל ומתהום רבצת תחת
Καὶ τῷ Ιωσηφ εἶπεν Ἀπ εὐλογίας κυρίου ἡ γῆ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ ὡρῶν οὐρανοῦ καὶ δρόσου καὶ ἀπὸ ἀβύσσων πηγῶν κάτωθεν
And for Yosèfⓘ he said: Blessed by the Tetragrammatonⓘ his land, with the bounty of the heavens, with the dewⓘ, and with the deep that lies belowⓘ.

וממגד תבואת שמש וממגד גרש ירחים
καὶ καθ’ ὥραν γενημάτων ἡλίου τροπῶν καὶ ἀπὸ συνόδων μηνῶν
And with the bounty of the fruits of the sunⓘ, and with the bounty of the yield of the moonsⓘ.

ומראש הררי קדם וממגד גבעות עולם
καὶ ἀπὸ κορυφῆς ὀρέων ἀρχῆς καὶ ἀπὸ κορυφῆς βουνῶν ἀενάων
And with the crest of the ancient mountainsⓘ, and with the bounty of the everlasting hillsⓘ.

וממגד ארץ ומלאה ורצון שכני סנה תבואתה לראש יוסף ולקדקד נזיר אחיו
καὶ καθ’ ὥραν γῆς πληρώσεως. καὶ τὰ δεκτὰ τῷ ὀφθέντι ἐν τῷ βάτῳ ἔλθοισαν ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν Ιωσηφ, καὶ ἐπὶ κορυφῆς δοξασθεὶς ἐν ἀδελφοῖς.
And with the bounty of the earth and its fullness, and the favor of the One who dwells in the bushⓘ: let it come upon the head of Yosèfⓘ and upon the crown of the one consecrated among his brothersⓘ.

בכור שורו הדר לו וקרני ראם קרניו בהם עמים ינגח יחדו אפסי ארץ והם רבבות אפרים והם אלפי מנשה
πρωτότοκος ταύρου τὸ κάλλος αὐτοῦ, κέρατα μονοκέρωτος τὰ κέρατα αὐτοῦ· ἐν αὐτοῖς ἔθνη κερατιεῖ ἅμα ἕως ἐπ’ ἄκρου γῆς. αὗται μυριάδες Εφραιμ, καὶ αὗται χιλιάδες Μανασση.
Firstborn of his bullⓘ, splendor is his, and his horns are horns of reʾèmⓘ; with them he will gore the peoplesⓘ all together to the ends of the earth; and these are the myriads of Efràimⓘ, and these the thousands of Menasshèh.

ולזבולן אמר שמח זבולן בצאתך ויששכר באהליך
Καὶ τῷ Ζαβουλων εἶπεν Εὐφράνθητι, Ζαβουλων, ἐν ἐξοδίᾳ σου καί, Ισσαχαρ, ἐν τοῖς σκηνώμασιν αὐτοῦ.
And for Zevulùnⓘ he said: Rejoice, Zevulùn, in your going outⓘ, and you, Yissakhàrⓘ, in your tentsⓘ.

עמים הר יקראו שם יזבחו זבחי צדק כי שפע ימים יינקו ושפוני טמוני חול
ἔθνη ἐξολεθρεύσουσιν, καὶ ἐπικαλέσεσθε ἐκεῖ καὶ θύσετε θυσίαν δικαιοσύνης, ὅτι πλοῦτος θαλάσσης θηλάσει σε καὶ ἐμπόρια παράλιον κατοικούντων.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——They will exterminate the nations they will exterminate the nationsⓘ, and there you will invoke and offer a sacrifice of righteousness, for the wealth of the sea will nurse you and the martsⓘ of those who dwell on the shore.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Peoples to the mountain they will summonⓘ, there they will offer sacrifices of righteousnessⓘ, because they will suck the abundance of the seasⓘ and the treasures hidden in the sandⓘ.

ולגד אמר ברוך מרחיב גד כלביא שכן וטרף זרוע אף קדקד
Καὶ τῷ Γαδ εἶπεν Εὐλογημένος ἐμπλατύνων Γαδ· ὡς λέων ἀνεπαύσατο συντρίψας βραχίονα καὶ ἄρχοντα.
And for Gadⓘ he said: Blessed be he who enlarges Gadⓘ; like a lionessⓘ he dwells, and tears arm and skullⓘ.

וירא ראשית לו כי שם חלקת מחקק ספון ויתא ראשי עם צדקת יהוה עשה ומשפטיו עם ישראל
καὶ εἶδεν ἀπαρχὴν αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐκεῖ ἐμερίσθη γῆ ἀρχόντων συνηγμένων ἅμα ἀρχηγοῖς λαῶν· δικαιοσύνην κύριος ἐποίησεν καὶ κρίσιν αὐτοῦ μετὰ Ισραηλ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And he saw his first portion, for there was apportioned the land of the rulersⓘ gathered together with the chieftainsⓘ of the peoples; righteousness the Tetragrammaton wrought and his judgment with Israel.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he chose the first portion for himselfⓘ, because there is the portion of the lawgiverⓘ reserved; and he came with the heads of the peopleⓘ, the righteousness of the Tetragrammaton he wroughtⓘ and his judgments with Israel.

ולדן אמר דן גור אריה יזנק מן הבשן
Καὶ τῷ Δαν εἶπεν Δαν σκύμνος λέοντος καὶ ἐκπηδήσεται ἐκ τοῦ Βασαν.
And for Danⓘ he said: Dan is a lion's whelpⓘ that leaps from the Bashànⓘ.

ולנפתלי אמר נפתלי שבע רצון ומלא ברכת יהוה ים ודרום ירשה
Καὶ τῷ Νεφθαλι εἶπεν Νεφθαλι πλησμονὴ δεκτῶν καὶ ἐμπλησθήτω εὐλογίαν παρὰ κυρίου θάλασσαν καὶ λίβα κληρονομήσει.
And for Naftalìⓘ he said: Naftalì sated with favorⓘ and full of the blessing of the Tetragrammatonⓘ: the sea and the southⓘ possess.

ולאשר אמר ברוך מבנים אשר יהי רצוי אחיו וטבל בשמן רגלו
Καὶ τῷ Ασηρ εἶπεν Εὐλογητὸς ἀπὸ τέκνων Ασηρ καὶ ἔσται δεκτὸς τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτοῦ. βάψει ἐν ἐλαίῳ τὸν πόδα αὐτοῦ·
And for Ashèrⓘ he said: Blessed among sons be Ashèrⓘ; may he be pleasing to his brothersⓘ and bathe his foot in oilⓘ.

ברזל ונחשת מנעליך וכימיך דבאך
σίδηρος καὶ χαλκὸς τὸ ὑπόδημα αὐτοῦ ἔσται, καὶ ὡς αἱ ἡμέραι σου ἡ ἰσχύς σου.
Iron and bronze your boltsⓘ, and as your days, so your strengthⓘ.

אין כאל ישרון רכב שמים בעזרך ובגאותו שחקים
Οὐκ ἔστιν ὥσπερ ὁ θεὸς τοῦ ἠγαπημένου· ὁ ἐπιβαίνων ἐπὶ τὸν οὐρανὸν βοηθός σου καὶ ὁ μεγαλοπρεπὴς τοῦ στερεώματος.
There is none like the El of Yeshurùnⓘ, who rides the heavensⓘ to your help, and in his majesty the cloudsⓘ.

מענה אלהי קדם ומתחת זרעת עולם ויגרש מפניך אויב ויאמר השמד
καὶ σκέπασις θεοῦ ἀρχῆς καὶ ὑπὸ ἰσχὺν βραχιόνων ἀενάων καὶ ἐκβαλεῖ ἀπὸ προσώπου σου ἐχθρὸν λέγων Ἀπόλοιο.
A refuge is the God of the primordial timesⓘ, and below the everlasting armsⓘ; and he drives out before you the enemyⓘ, and he said: Destroy!ⓘ.

וישכן ישראל בטח בדד עין יעקב אל ארץ דגן ותירוש אף שמיו יערפו טל
καὶ κατασκηνώσει Ισραηλ πεποιθὼς μόνος ἐπὶ γῆς Ιακωβ ἐπὶ σίτῳ καὶ οἴνῳ, καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς αὐτῷ συννεφὴς δρόσῳ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And Israel will encamp confident, alone upon the landⓘ of Iakòb, upon grain and wine, and the heaven above him clouded with dewⓘ with dew.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And Israel dwelt in safetyⓘ, solitary the fountain of Yaʿaqòvⓘ, upon a land of grain and new wineⓘ; yes, his heavens drip dewⓘ.

אשריך ישראל מי כמוך עם נושע ביהוה מגן עזרך ואשר חרב גאותך ויכחשו איביך לך ואתה על במותימו תדרך
μακάριος σύ, Ισραηλ· τίς ὅμοιός σοι λαὸς σῳζόμενος ὑπὸ κυρίου; ὑπερασπιεῖ ὁ βοηθός σου, καὶ ἡ μάχαιρα καύχημά σου· καὶ ψεύσονταί σε οἱ ἐχθροί σου, καὶ σὺ ἐπὶ τὸν τράχηλον αὐτῶν ἐπιβήσῃ.
Blessed are you, Israel!ⓘ Who is like you, a people saved in the Tetragrammatonⓘ, shield of your helpⓘ and sword of your majestyⓘ! And your enemies shall cringe lying to youⓘ, and you shall tread upon their heightsⓘ.
