האזינו השמים ואדברה ותשמע הארץ אמרי פי
Πρόσεχε, οὐρανέ, καὶ λαλήσω, καὶ ἀκουέτω γῆ ῥήματα ἐκ στόματός μου.
Give ear, O heavensⓘ, and I will speakⓘ; and let the earth hearⓘ the words of my mouthⓘ.

יערף כמטר לקחי תזל כטל אמרתי כשעירם עלי דשא וכרביבים עלי עשב
προσδοκάσθω ὡς ὑετὸς τὸ ἀπόφθεγμά μου, καὶ καταβήτω ὡς δρόσος τὰ ῥήματά μου, ὡσεὶ ὄμβρος ἐπ’ ἄγρωστιν καὶ ὡσεὶ νιφετὸς ἐπὶ χόρτον.
Let it drop like rainⓘ my teachingⓘ, let it descend like dewⓘ my wordⓘ, like fine drizzle upon the tender grassⓘ and like downpours upon the herbⓘ.

כי שם יהוה אקרא הבו גדל לאלהינו
ὅτι ὄνομα κυρίου ἐκάλεσα· δότε μεγαλωσύνην τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν.
For the Name of the Tetragrammatonⓘ I will proclaimⓘ: ascribe greatness to our Godⓘ.

הצור תמים פעלו כי כל דרכיו משפט אל אמונה ואין עול צדיק וישר הוא
θεός, ἀληθινὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ, καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ὁδοὶ αὐτοῦ κρίσεις· θεὸς πιστός, καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀδικία, δίκαιος καὶ ὅσιος κύριος.
The Rockⓘ, perfect is his workⓘ, for all his ways are justiceⓘ; God of faithfulnessⓘ and without iniquityⓘ, just and upright is Heⓘ.

שחת לו לא בניו מומם דור עקש ופתלתל
ἡμάρτοσαν οὐκ αὐτῷ τέκνα μωμητά, γενεὰ σκολιὰ καὶ διεστραμμένη.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——They have sinned — not against him, but blameworthy children ⓘ —, a generation crooked and perverse.—— Masoretic (MT) ——They have acted corruptly toward himⓘ — not his children, but their blemishⓘ — a crooked and twisted generationⓘ.

ה ליהוה תגמלו זאת עם נבל ולא חכם הלוא הוא אביך קנך הוא עשך ויכננך
ταῦτα κυρίῳ ἀνταποδίδοτε οὕτω, λαὸς μωρὸς καὶ οὐχὶ σοφός; οὐκ αὐτὸς οὗτός σου πατὴρ ἐκτήσατό σε καὶ ἐποίησέν σε καὶ ἔκτισέν σε;
Is this how you requite the Tetragrammatonⓘ, foolish people devoid of wisdomⓘ? Is he not your father who acquired youⓘ? He has made you and established youⓘ.

זכר ימות עולם בינו שנות דור ודור שאל אביך ויגדך זקניך ויאמרו לך
μνήσθητε ἡμέρας αἰῶνος, σύνετε ἔτη γενεᾶς γενεῶν· ἐπερώτησον τὸν πατέρα σου, καὶ ἀναγγελεῖ σοι, τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους σου, καὶ ἐροῦσίν σοι.
Remember the days of oldⓘ, consider the years of generation after generationⓘ; ask your father and he will recount it to youⓘ, your eldersⓘ and they will tell you.

בהנחל עליון גוים בהפרידו בני אדם יצב גבלת עמים למספר בני ישראל
ὅτε διεμέριζεν ὁ ὕψιστος ἔθνη, ὡς διέσπειρεν υἱοὺς Αδαμ, ἔστησεν ὅρια ἐθνῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ἀγγέλων θεοῦ,
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——When the Most High divided and apportioned the nations, when he scattered the children of Adàm over the earth, he fixed the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the angels of God ⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——When the Most High gave the nations their inheritanceⓘ, when he separated the children of Adàmⓘ, he fixed the boundaries of the peoplesⓘ according to the number of the children of Israelⓘ.

כי חלק יהוה עמו יעקב חבל נחלתו
καὶ ἐγενήθη μερὶς κυρίου λαὸς αὐτοῦ Ιακωβ, σχοίνισμα κληρονομίας αὐτοῦ Ισραηλ.
For the portion of the Tetragrammaton is his peopleⓘ, Yaʿaqòv is the cord of his inheritanceⓘ.

ימצאהו בארץ מדבר ובתהו ילל ישמן יסבבנהו יבוננהו יצרנהו כאישון עינו
αὐτάρκησεν αὐτὸν ἐν γῇ ἐρήμῳ, ἐν δίψει καύματος ἐν ἀνύδρῳ· ἐκύκλωσεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐπαίδευσεν αὐτὸν καὶ διεφύλαξεν αὐτὸν ὡς κόραν ὀφθαλμοῦ
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——He sufficed to himself in a desert land, in the thirst of scorching heat, in a waterless place ⓘ; he encircled him with care, instructed him and guarded him as the pupil of the eye.—— Masoretic (MT) ——He found him in a desert landⓘ, in the howling void of the wastelandⓘ; he encircled him, he cared for him, he guarded himⓘ as the pupil of his eyeⓘ.

כנשר יעיר קנו על גוזליו ירחף יפרש כנפיו יקחהו ישאהו על אברתו
ὡς ἀετὸς σκεπάσαι νοσσιὰν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς νεοσσοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐπεπόθησεν, διεὶς τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτοῦ ἐδέξατο αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀνέλαβεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τῶν μεταφρένων αὐτοῦ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Like an eagle to shelter its brood ⓘ and that draws close to its young with ardent love, spreading its wings it gathered them and bore them upon its back ⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Like the eagle that stirs its broodⓘ, hovers over its youngⓘ, spreads its wings, takes him, bears him upon its pinionsⓘ.

יהוה בדד ינחנו ואין עמו אל נכר
κύριος μόνος ἦγεν αὐτούς, καὶ οὐκ ἦν μετ’ αὐτῶν θεὸς ἀλλότριος.
The Tetragrammaton alone led himⓘ, and there was no foreign god with himⓘ.

ירכבהו על במותי במתי ארץ ויאכל תנובת שדי וינקהו דבש מסלע ושמן מחלמיש צור
ἀνεβίβασεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὴν ἰσχὺν τῆς γῆς, ἐψώμισεν αὐτοὺς γενήματα ἀγρῶν· ἐθήλασαν μέλι ἐκ πέτρας καὶ ἔλαιον ἐκ στερεᾶς πέτρας,
He made him ride upon the heights of the earthⓘ, and he ate the produce of the fieldsⓘ; he made him suck honey from the cragⓘ and oil from the flinty rockⓘ.

חמאת בקר וחלב צאן עם חלב כרים ואילים בני בשן ועתודים עם חלב כליות חטה ודם ענב תשתה חמר
βούτυρον βοῶν καὶ γάλα προβάτων μετὰ στέατος ἀρνῶν καὶ κριῶν, υἱῶν ταύρων καὶ τράγων μετὰ στέατος νεφρῶν πυροῦ, καὶ αἷμα σταφυλῆς ἔπιον οἶνον.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——butter of oxen and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs and of rams, of sons of bulls and of goats, with fat of kidneys of wheat; and the blood of the grape they drank as wine ⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Curd of cows and milk of sheepⓘ, with fat of lambsⓘ and rams, sons of Bashànⓘ and goats, with the finest of the wheatⓘ; and the blood of the grape you drank, foaming wineⓘ.

וישמן ישרון ויבעט שמנת עבית כשית ויטש אלוה עשהו וינבל צור ישעתו
καὶ ἔφαγεν Ιακωβ καὶ ἐνεπλήσθη, καὶ ἀπελάκτισεν ὁ ἠγαπημένος, ἐλιπάνθη, ἐπαχύνθη, ἐπλατύνθη· καὶ ἐγκατέλιπεν θεὸν τὸν ποιήσαντα αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέστη ἀπὸ θεοῦ σωτῆρος αὐτοῦ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And Jacob ate and was filled ⓘ, and the beloved ⓘ kicked — he grew fat, he grew gross, he grew bloated — and forsook the God who had made him and departed from God his savior.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And Yeshurùn grew fat and kickedⓘ — you grew fat, gross, bloatedⓘ — and he forsook the God who had made himⓘ and despised the Rock of his salvationⓘ.

יקנאהו בזרים בתועבת יכעיסהו
παρώξυνάν με ἐπ’ ἀλλοτρίοις, ἐν βδελύγμασιν αὐτῶν ἐξεπίκρανάν με·
They provoked him to jealousy with alien deitiesⓘ, with abominations they angered himⓘ.

יזבחו לשדים לא אלה אלהים לא ידעום חדשים מקרב באו לא שערום אבתיכם
ἔθυσαν δαιμονίοις καὶ οὐ θεῷ, θεοῖς, οἷς οὐκ ᾔδεισαν· καινοὶ πρόσφατοι ἥκασιν, οὓς οὐκ ᾔδεισαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν.
They sacrificed to the shedìm, non-Godⓘ, gods they did not knowⓘ, new ones, lately comeⓘ, whom your fathers had not dreadedⓘ.

צור ילדך תשי ותשכח אל מחללך
θεὸν τὸν γεννήσαντά σε ἐγκατέλιπες καὶ ἐπελάθου θεοῦ τοῦ τρέφοντός σε.
The Rock that begot you, you neglectedⓘ, and you forgot the God who bore you in travailⓘ.

וירא יהוה וינאץ מכעס בניו ובנתיו
καὶ εἶδεν κύριος καὶ ἐζήλωσεν καὶ παρωξύνθη δι’ ὀργὴν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ θυγατέρων
And the Tetragrammaton saw and spurned themⓘ, because of the vexation of his sons and his daughtersⓘ.

ויאמר אסתירה פני מהם אראה מה אחריתם כי דור תהפכת המה בנים לא אמן בם
καὶ εἶπεν Ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ’ αὐτῶν καὶ δείξω τί ἔσται αὐτοῖς ἐπ’ ἐσχάτων· ὅτι γενεὰ ἐξεστραμμένη ἐστίν, υἱοί, οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν πίστις ἐν αὐτοῖς.
And he said: I will hide my face from themⓘ, I will see what their end will beⓘ; for they are a generation of perversionsⓘ, children in whom there is no faithfulnessⓘ.

הם קנאוני בלא אל כעסוני בהבליהם ואני אקניאם בלא עם בגוי נבל אכעיסם
αὐτοὶ παρεζήλωσάν με ἐπ’ οὐ θεῷ, παρώργισάν με ἐν τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν· κἀγὼ παραζηλώσω αὐτοὺς ἐπ’ οὐκ ἔθνει, ἐπ’ ἔθνει ἀσυνέτῳ παροργιῶ αὐτούς.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——They made me jealous with a non-god, they provoked me to anger with their idols ⓘ; and I will make them jealous with a non-people, with a foolish nation I will provoke them to anger.—— Masoretic (MT) ——They made me jealous with a non-godⓘ, they angered me with their idol-vanitiesⓘ; and I will make them jealous with a non-peopleⓘ, with a foolish nation I will anger themⓘ.

כי אש קדחה באפי ותיקד עד שאול תחתית ותאכל ארץ ויבלה ותלהט מוסדי הרים
ὅτι πῦρ ἐκκέκαυται ἐκ τοῦ θυμοῦ μου, καυθήσεται ἕως ᾅδου κάτω, καταφάγεται γῆν καὶ τὰ γενήματα αὐτῆς, φλέξει θεμέλια ὀρέων.
For a fire has been kindled in my wrathⓘ, and it burns down to the deepest Sheòlⓘ, it devours the earth and its produceⓘ and sets ablaze the foundations of the mountainsⓘ.

אספה עלימו רעות חצי אכלה בם
συνάξω εἰς αὐτοὺς κακὰ καὶ τὰ βέλη μου συντελέσω εἰς αὐτούς.
I will heap calamities upon themⓘ, I will spend my arrows against themⓘ.
24
מזי רעב ולחמי רשף וקטב מרירי ושן בהמות אשלח בם עם חמת זחלי עפר
τηκόμενοι λιμῷ καὶ βρώσει ὀρνέων καὶ ὀπισθότονος ἀνίατος· ὀδόντας θηρίων ἀποστελῶ εἰς αὐτοὺς μετὰ θυμοῦ συρόντων ἐπὶ γῆς.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Wasted by famine and food for birds ⓘ and by incurable opisthotonos ⓘ; I will send against them the fang of beasts together with the fury of those that crawl upon the earth.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Wasted by famineⓘ, devoured by burning feverⓘ and by bitter pestilenceⓘ; the tooth of beasts I will send against themⓘ, with the venom of the reptiles of the dustⓘ.

מחוץ תשכל חרב ומחדרים אימה גם בחור גם בתולה יונק עם איש שיבה
ἔξωθεν ἀτεκνώσει αὐτοὺς μάχαιρα καὶ ἐκ τῶν ταμιείων φόβος· νεανίσκος σὺν παρθένῳ, θηλάζων μετὰ καθεστηκότος πρεσβύτου.
Outside the sword bereaves of childrenⓘ, and within the chambers, terrorⓘ; both the young man and the virginⓘ, the suckling with the gray-haired manⓘ.

אמרתי אפאיהם אשביתה מאנוש זכרם
εἶπα Διασπερῶ αὐτούς, παύσω δὴ ἐξ ἀνθρώπων τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῶν,
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——I said: I will scatter them ⓘ, I will make their memory cease from among men ——— Masoretic (MT) ——I had said: I will sweep them awayⓘ, I will make their memory cease from among menⓘ,
27
לולי כעס אויב אגור פן ינכרו צרימו פן יאמרו ידינו רמה ולא יהוה פעל כל זאת
εἰ μὴ δι’ ὀργὴν ἐχθρῶν, ἵνα μὴ μακροχρονίσωσιν, καὶ ἵνα μὴ συνεπιθῶνται οἱ ὑπεναντίοι, μὴ εἴπωσιν Ἡ χεὶρ ἡμῶν ἡ ὑψηλὴ καὶ οὐχὶ κύριος ἐποίησεν ταῦτα πάντα.
were I not in dread of the enemy's arroganceⓘ, lest their adversaries misjudgeⓘ, lest they say: Our hand is raised highⓘ, and it was not the Tetragrammaton who did all thisⓘ.

כי גוי אבד עצות המה ואין בהם תבונה
ὅτι ἔθνος ἀπολωλεκὸς βουλήν ἐστιν, καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐπιστήμη.
For they are a nation that has lost its counselⓘ, and there is no discernment in themⓘ.
29
לו חכמו ישכילו זאת יבינו לאחריתם
οὐκ ἐφρόνησαν συνιέναι ταῦτα· καταδεξάσθωσαν εἰς τὸν ἐπιόντα χρόνον.
Were they wise, they would understand thisⓘ, they would discern their endⓘ.
30
איכה ירדף אחד אלף ושנים יניסו רבבה אם לא כי צורם מכרם ויהוה הסגירם
πῶς διώξεται εἷς χιλίους καὶ δύο μετακινήσουσιν μυριάδας, εἰ μὴ ὁ θεὸς ἀπέδοτο αὐτοὺς καὶ κύριος παρέδωκεν αὐτούς;
How could one chase a thousandⓘ and two put ten thousand to flightⓘ, were it not that their Rock had sold themⓘ and the Tetragrammaton had delivered them upⓘ?
31
כי לא כצורנו צורם ואיבינו פלילים
ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὡς ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν οἱ θεοὶ αὐτῶν· οἱ δὲ ἐχθροὶ ἡμῶν ἀνόητοι.
For their rock is not like our Rockⓘ, and our enemies are judges of itⓘ.
32
כי מגפן סדם גפנם ומשדמת עמרה ענבמו ענבי רוש אשכלת מררת למו
ἐκ γὰρ ἀμπέλου Σοδομων ἡ ἄμπελος αὐτῶν, καὶ ἡ κληματὶς αὐτῶν ἐκ Γομορρας· ἡ σταφυλὴ αὐτῶν σταφυλὴ χολῆς, βότρυς πικρίας αὐτοῖς·
For from the vine of Sedòm is their vineⓘ and from the fields of ʿAmoràhⓘ; their clusters are clusters of poisonⓘ, bitter their grape-clustersⓘ.

חמת תנינם יינם וראש פתנים אכזר
θυμὸς δρακόντων ὁ οἶνος αὐτῶν καὶ θυμὸς ἀσπίδων ἀνίατος.
Venom of dragons is their wineⓘ, and cruel venom of aspsⓘ.

הלא הוא כמס עמדי חתם באוצרתי
οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταῦτα συνῆκται παρ’ ἐμοὶ καὶ ἐσφράγισται ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς μου;
Is this not laid up with meⓘ, sealed in my treasuriesⓘ?
35
לי נקם ושלם לעת תמוט רגלם כי קרוב יום אידם וחש עתדת למו
ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ἐκδικήσεως ἀνταποδώσω, ἐν καιρῷ, ὅταν σφαλῇ ὁ ποὺς αὐτῶν· ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡμέρα ἀπωλείας αὐτῶν, καὶ πάρεστιν ἕτοιμα ὑμῖν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——In the day of vengeance ⓘ I will repay, in the time when their foot shall slip; for near is the day of their ruin, and what is prepared for them is already at hand.—— Masoretic (MT) ——To me belong vengeance and recompenseⓘ, for the time when their foot shall slipⓘ; for near is the day of their calamityⓘ and what is prepared for them hastens onⓘ.

כי ידין יהוה עמו ועל עבדיו יתנחם כי יראה כי אזלת יד ואפס עצור ועזוב
ὅτι κρινεῖ κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ παρακληθήσεται· εἶδεν γὰρ παραλελυμένους αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐκλελοιπότας ἐν ἐπαγωγῇ καὶ παρειμένους.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——For the Tetragrammaton will judge his people and will have compassion on his servants; for he saw that they were enfeebled ⓘ and failing in misfortune and prostrate.—— Masoretic (MT) ——For the Tetragrammaton will do justice for his peopleⓘ and will have compassion on his servantsⓘ, when he sees that strength has failedⓘ and there is neither slave nor freeⓘ.

ואמר אי אלהימו צור חסיו בו
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος Ποῦ εἰσιν οἱ θεοὶ αὐτῶν, ἐφ’ οἷς ἐπεποίθεισαν ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς,
And he will say: Where are their godsⓘ, the rock in which they sought refugeⓘ?
38
אשר חלב זבחימו יאכלו ישתו יין נסיכם יקומו ויעזרכם יהי עליכם סתרה
ὧν τὸ στέαρ τῶν θυσιῶν αὐτῶν ἠσθίετε καὶ ἐπίνετε τὸν οἶνον τῶν σπονδῶν αὐτῶν; ἀναστήτωσαν καὶ βοηθησάτωσαν ὑμῖν καὶ γενηθήτωσαν ὑμῖν σκεπασταί.
Those who ate the fat of their sacrificesⓘ, drank the wine of their libationsⓘ? Let them rise up and help youⓘ, let them be a shelter over youⓘ.

ראו עתה כי אני אני הוא ואין אלהים עמדי אני אמית ואחיה מחצתי ואני ארפא ואין מידי מציל
ἴδετε ἴδετε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι, καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν θεὸς πλὴν ἐμοῦ· ἐγὼ ἀποκτενῶ καὶ ζῆν ποιήσω, πατάξω κἀγὼ ἰάσομαι, καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὃς ἐξελεῖται ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν μου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——See, see ⓘ that I Am ⓘ, and there is no god besides me: I put to death and make alive, I have wounded and I heal, and no one can wrest from my hands.—— Masoretic (MT) ——See now that I, I am Heⓘ, and there is no God beside meⓘ; I put to death and I make aliveⓘ, I have wounded and I healⓘ, and there is none who delivers from my handⓘ.

כי אשא אל שמים ידי ואמרתי חי אנכי לעלם
ὅτι ἀρῶ εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν τὴν χεῖρά μου καὶ ὀμοῦμαι τῇ δεξιᾷ μου καὶ ἐρῶ Ζῶ ἐγὼ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα,
For I lift my hand toward heavenⓘ and I say: I live foreverⓘ.
41
אם שנותי ברק חרבי ותאחז במשפט ידי אשיב נקם לצרי ולמשנאי אשלם
ὅτι παροξυνῶ ὡς ἀστραπὴν τὴν μάχαιράν μου, καὶ ἀνθέξεται κρίματος ἡ χείρ μου, καὶ ἀνταποδώσω δίκην τοῖς ἐχθροῖς καὶ τοῖς μισοῦσίν με ἀνταποδώσω·
If I sharpen the lightning of my swordⓘ, and my hand takes hold of judgmentⓘ, I will bring vengeance back upon my adversariesⓘ and I will requite those who hate meⓘ.

אשכיר חצי מדם וחרבי תאכל בשר מדם חלל ושביה מראש פרעות אויב
μεθύσω τὰ βέλη μου ἀφ’ αἵματος, καὶ ἡ μάχαιρά μου καταφάγεται κρέα, ἀφ’ αἵματος τραυματιῶν καὶ αἰχμαλωσίας, ἀπὸ κεφαλῆς ἀρχόντων ἐχθρῶν.
I will make my arrows drunk with bloodⓘ, and my sword will devour fleshⓘ: from the blood of the slain and of the captivesⓘ, from the head of the enemy's chieftainsⓘ.

הרנינו גוים עמו כי דם עבדיו יקום ונקם ישיב לצריו וכפר אדמתו עמו
εὐφράνθητε, οὐρανοί, ἅμα αὐτῷ, καὶ προσκυνησάτωσαν αὐτῷ πάντες υἱοὶ θεοῦ· εὐφράνθητε, ἔθνη, μετὰ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐνισχυσάτωσαν αὐτῷ πάντες ἄγγελοι θεοῦ· ὅτι τὸ αἷμα τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ ἐκδικᾶται, καὶ ἐκδικήσει καὶ ἀνταποδώσει δίκην τοῖς ἐχθροῖς καὶ τοῖς μισοῦσιν ἀνταποδώσει, καὶ ἐκκαθαριεῖ κύριος τὴν γῆν τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ.

ויבא משה וידבר את כל דברי השירה הזאת באזני העם הוא והושע בן נון
Καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωϋσῆς τὴν ᾠδὴν ταύτην ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ καὶ ἐδίδαξεν αὐτὴν τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ. καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Μωϋσῆς καὶ ἐλάλησεν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ, αὐτὸς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυη.

ויכל משה לדבר את כל הדברים האלה אל כל ישראל
καὶ συνετέλεσεν Μωϋσῆς λαλῶν παντὶ Ισραηλ
And Mosheh finished pronouncingⓘ all these words to all Israel.
46
ויאמר אלהם שימו לבבכם לכל הדברים אשר אנכי מעיד בכם היום אשר תצום את בניכם לשמר לעשות את כל דברי התורה הזאת
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Προσέχετε τῇ καρδίᾳ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους, οὓς ἐγὼ διαμαρτύρομαι ὑμῖν σήμερον, ἃ ἐντελεῖσθε τοῖς υἱοῖς ὑμῶν φυλάσσειν καὶ ποιεῖν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου·
And he said to them: Set your heartⓘ to all the words that today I testify against youⓘ, which you shall command your childrenⓘ to keep and to put into practice all the words of this Toràhⓘ.

כי לא דבר רק הוא מכם כי הוא חייכם ובדבר הזה תאריכו ימים על האדמה אשר אתם עברים את הירדן שמה לרשתה
ὅτι οὐχὶ λόγος κενὸς οὗτος ὑμῖν, ὅτι αὕτη ἡ ζωὴ ὑμῶν, καὶ ἕνεκεν τοῦ λόγου τούτου μακροημερεύσετε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ιορδάνην ἐκεῖ κληρονομῆσαι αὐτήν.
For it is not an empty thing for youⓘ, for it is your lifeⓘ, and through this word you will prolong your daysⓘ upon the soil where you cross the Yardènⓘ to take possession of it.

וידבר יהוה אל משה בעצם היום הזה לאמר
Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ λέγων
And the Tetragrammaton spoke to Mosheh on that very dayⓘ, saying:

עלה אל הר העברים הזה הר נבו אשר בארץ מואב אשר על פני ירחו וראה את ארץ כנען אשר אני נתן לבני ישראל לאחזה
Ἀνάβηθι εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ Αβαριν τοῦτο, ὄρος Ναβαυ, ὅ ἐστιν ἐν γῇ Μωαβ κατὰ πρόσωπον Ιεριχω, καὶ ἰδὲ τὴν γῆν Χανααν, ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ εἰς κατάσχεσιν,
Go up onto this mountain of the ʿAvarìmⓘ, Mount Nevòⓘ, which is in the land of Moàvⓘ, opposite Yerichòⓘ, and behold the land of Kenaʿanⓘ which I give to the children of Israel as a possessionⓘ.

ומת בהר אשר אתה עלה שמה והאסף אל עמיך כאשר מת אהרן אחיך בהר ההר ויאסף אל עמיו
καὶ τελεύτα ἐν τῷ ὄρει, εἰς ὃ ἀναβαίνεις ἐκεῖ, καὶ προστέθητι πρὸς τὸν λαόν σου, ὃν τρόπον ἀπέθανεν Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου ἐν Ωρ τῷ ὄρει καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ,
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——and die on the mountain which you ascend, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Or ⓘ and was gathered to his people,—— Masoretic (MT) ——And die on the mountain which you ascendⓘ, and be gathered to your peoplesⓘ, as Aharòn your brother died on Mount Horⓘ and was gathered to his peoples,

על אשר מעלתם בי בתוך בני ישראל במי מריבת קדש מדבר צן על אשר לא קדשתם אותי בתוך בני ישראל
διότι ἠπειθήσατε τῷ ῥήματί μου ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τοῦ ὕδατος ἀντιλογίας Καδης ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σιν, διότι οὐχ ἡγιάσατέ με ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ·
because you were unfaithful against meⓘ in the midst of the children of Israel, at the waters of Merivàh of Qadèshⓘ, in the wilderness of Tzinⓘ, because you did not sanctify meⓘ in the midst of the children of Israel.

כי מנגד תראה את הארץ ושמה לא תבוא אל הארץ אשר אני נתן לבני ישראל
ὅτι ἀπέναντι ὄψῃ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐκεῖ οὐκ εἰσελεύσῃ.
For from opposite you shall see the landⓘ, but there you shall not enterⓘ, into the land that I give to the children of Israel.
