לא תזבח ליהוה אלהיך שור ושה אשר יהיה בו מום כל דבר רע כי תועבת יהוה אלהיך הוא
Οὐ θύσεις κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου μόσχον ἢ πρόβατον, ἐν ᾧ ἐστιν ἐν αὐτῷ μῶμος, πᾶν ῥῆμα πονηρόν, ὅτι βδέλυγμα κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σού ἐστιν.
You shall not ⓘ to the Tetragrammaton your God an ox or a ⓘ in which there is a ⓘ, any evil thing, for an ⓘ to the Tetragrammaton your God is that.

כי ימצא בקרבך באחד שעריך אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך איש או אשה אשר יעשה את הרע בעיני יהוה אלהיך לעבר בריתו
Ἐὰν δὲ εὑρεθῇ ἐν σοὶ ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεών σου, ὧν κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι, ἀνὴρ ἢ γυνή, ὅστις ποιήσει τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου παρελθεῖν τὴν διαθήκην αὐτοῦ,
When there shall be found in your midst, in one of your ⓘ which the Tetragrammaton your God gives you, a man or a woman who does ⓘ your God, to the point of ⓘ,

וילך ויעבד אלהים אחרים וישתחו להם ולשמש או לירח או לכל צבא השמים אשר לא צויתי
καὶ ἐλθόντες λατρεύσωσιν θεοῖς ἑτέροις καὶ προσκυνήσωσιν αὐτοῖς, τῷ ἡλίῳ ἢ τῇ σελήνῃ ἢ παντὶ τῶν ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ἃ οὐ προσέταξεν,
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——going to serve other gods and prostrating themselves before them — to the sun, to the moon, or to all ⓘ — that ⓘ,—— Masoretic (MT) ——and goes and ⓘ ⓘ and prostrates himself before them, before the sun or the moon or all the ⓘ, that which ⓘ;

והגד לך ושמעת ודרשת היטב והנה אמת נכון הדבר נעשתה התועבה הזאת בישראל
καὶ ἀναγγελῇ σοι, καὶ ἐκζητήσεις σφόδρα, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀληθῶς γέγονεν τὸ ῥῆμα, γεγένηται τὸ βδέλυγμα τοῦτο ἐν Ισραηλ,
and it be ⓘ to you, and you hear and ⓘ, and behold: ⓘ, this abomination has been done in ⓘ;

והוצאת את האיש ההוא או את האשה ההוא אשר עשו את הדבר הרע הזה אל שעריך את האיש או את האשה וסקלתם באבנים ומתו
καὶ ἐξάξεις τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐκεῖνον ἢ τὴν γυναῖκα ἐκείνην καὶ λιθοβολήσετε αὐτοὺς ἐν λίθοις, καὶ τελευτήσουσιν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——then you shall lead out that man or that woman, and you shall ⓘ with stones, and they shall die.—— Masoretic (MT) ——then you shall ⓘ that man or that woman who have done this evil thing, to your gates, the man or the woman, and you shall ⓘ so that they die.

על פי שנים עדים או שלשה עדים יומת המת לא יומת על פי עד אחד
ἐπὶ δυσὶν μάρτυσιν ἢ ἐπὶ τρισὶν μάρτυσιν ἀποθανεῖται ὁ ἀποθνῄσκων· οὐκ ἀποθανεῖται ἐφ’ ἑνὶ μάρτυρι.
ⓘ of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall ⓘ be put to death: he shall not be put to death on the mouth of a single witness.

יד העדים תהיה בו בראשנה להמיתו ויד כל העם באחרנה ובערת הרע מקרבך
καὶ ἡ χεὶρ τῶν μαρτύρων ἔσται ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἐν πρώτοις θανατῶσαι αὐτόν, καὶ ἡ χεὶρ παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ ἐπ’ ἐσχάτων· καὶ ἐξαρεῖς τὸν πονηρὸν ἐξ ὑμῶν αὐτῶν.
The ⓘ shall be upon him first to put him to death, and the hand of all the people last; and so you shall ⓘ from your midst.

כי יפלא ממך דבר למשפט בין דם לדם בין דין לדין ובין נגע לנגע דברי ריבת בשעריך וקמת ועלית אל המקום אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך בו
Ἐὰν δὲ ἀδυνατήσῃ ἀπὸ σοῦ ῥῆμα ἐν κρίσει ἀνὰ μέσον αἷμα αἵματος καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον κρίσις κρίσεως καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον ἁφὴ ἁφῆς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον ἀντιλογία ἀντιλογίας, ῥήματα κρίσεως ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ὑμῶν, καὶ ἀναστὰς ἀναβήσῃ εἰς τὸν τόπον, ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθῆναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ,
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——If it shall be impossible for you to discern a matter in judgment — between blood and blood, between cause and cause, between plague and plague and ⓘ, cases of judgment in your cities — then you shall arise and go up to the place that the Tetragrammaton your God shall choose ⓘ,—— Masoretic (MT) ——When a matter shall be ⓘ for you for the judgment, between blood and blood, between ⓘ and between ⓘ, matters of ⓘ at your gates, then you shall rise and go up to the ⓘ.

ובאת אל הכהנים הלוים ואל השפט אשר יהיה בימים ההם ודרשת והגידו לך את דבר המשפט
καὶ ἐλεύσῃ πρὸς τοὺς ἱερεῖς τοὺς Λευίτας καὶ πρὸς τὸν κριτήν, ὃς ἂν γένηται ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις, καὶ ἐκζητήσαντες ἀναγγελοῦσίν σοι τὴν κρίσιν.
And you shall come to the ⓘ and to the ⓘ who shall be in those days, and you shall inquire, and they shall ⓘ to you the word of judgment.

ועשית על פי הדבר אשר יגידו לך מן המקום ההוא אשר יבחר יהוה ושמרת לעשות ככל אשר יורוך
καὶ ποιήσεις κατὰ τὸ πρᾶγμα, ὃ ἐὰν ἀναγγείλωσίν σοι ἐκ τοῦ τόπου, οὗ ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθῆναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ, καὶ φυλάξῃ σφόδρα ποιῆσαι κατὰ πάντα, ὅσα ἐὰν νομοθετηθῇ σοι·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And you shall do according to the matter that they announce to you from that place that the Tetragrammaton shall choose ⓘ, and you shall take all care to do according to all that shall be ⓘ:—— Masoretic (MT) ——And you shall ⓘ of the word that they announce to you from that place that the Tetragrammaton shall choose, and you shall ⓘ according to all that they ⓘ.

על פי התורה אשר יורוך ועל המשפט אשר יאמרו לך תעשה לא תסור מן הדבר אשר יגידו לך ימין ושמאל
κατὰ τὸν νόμον καὶ κατὰ τὴν κρίσιν, ἣν ἂν εἴπωσίν σοι, ποιήσεις, οὐκ ἐκκλινεῖς ἀπὸ τοῦ ῥήματος, οὗ ἐὰν ἀναγγείλωσίν σοι, δεξιὰ οὐδὲ ἀριστερά.
According to the ⓘ that they teach you and according to the judgment that they tell you, you shall do: you shall not ⓘ from the word that they announce to you, neither ⓘ.

והאיש אשר יעשה בזדון לבלתי שמע אל הכהן העמד לשרת שם את יהוה אלהיך או אל השפט ומת האיש ההוא ובערת הרע מישראל
καὶ ὁ ἄνθρωπος, ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ἐν ὑπερηφανίᾳ τοῦ μὴ ὑπακοῦσαι τοῦ ἱερέως τοῦ παρεστηκότος λειτουργεῖν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ἢ τοῦ κριτοῦ, ὃς ἂν ᾖ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις, καὶ ἀποθανεῖται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος, καὶ ἐξαρεῖς τὸν πονηρὸν ἐξ Ισραηλ·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And the man who acts with presumption, not hearkening to the priest who stands there to officiate ⓘ your God, or the judge who shall be in those days, that man shall die: you shall root out the wicked one from Israel,—— Masoretic (MT) ——And the man who acts with ⓘ, to the point of not ⓘ the priest who stands to ⓘ there to the Tetragrammaton your God, or the judge, that man shall die; and so you shall root out the evil from Israel.

וכל העם ישמעו ויראו ולא יזידון עוד
καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ἀκούσας φοβηθήσεται καὶ οὐκ ἀσεβήσει ἔτι.
And all the people shall hear and ⓘ, and they shall not ⓘ.
14
כי תבא אל הארץ אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך וירשתה וישבתה בה ואמרת אשימה עלי מלך ככל הגוים אשר סביבתי
Ἐὰν δὲ εἰσέλθῃς εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι ἐν κλήρῳ, καὶ κληρονομήσῃς αὐτὴν καὶ κατοικήσῃς ἐπ’ αὐτῆς καὶ εἴπῃς Καταστήσω ἐπ’ ἐμαυτὸν ἄρχοντα καθὰ καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ ἔθνη τὰ κύκλῳ μου,
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And when you enter the land that the Tetragrammaton your God gives you ⓘ, and you inherit it and dwell in it, and you say: «I will set over myself a ruler ⓘ like also the other nations that surround me»,—— Masoretic (MT) ——When you enter the ⓘ that the Tetragrammaton your God gives you, and you ⓘ and dwell in it, and you say: ⓘ like all the ⓘ that are around me,

שום תשים עליך מלך אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך בו מקרב אחיך תשים עליך מלך לא תוכל לתת עליך איש נכרי אשר לא אחיך הוא
καθιστῶν καταστήσεις ἐπὶ σεαυτὸν ἄρχοντα, ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου αὐτόν. ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν σου καταστήσεις ἐπὶ σεαυτὸν ἄρχοντα· οὐ δυνήσῃ καταστῆσαι ἐπὶ σεαυτὸν ἄνθρωπον ἀλλότριον, ὅτι οὐκ ἀδελφός σού ἐστιν.
ⓘ over yourself a king whom the Tetragrammaton your God shall choose: from among your ⓘ you shall set over yourself a king; you may not set over yourself a ⓘ who is not your brother.

רק לא ירבה לו סוסים ולא ישיב את העם מצרימה למען הרבות סוס ויהוה אמר לכם לא תספון לשוב בדרך הזה עוד
διότι οὐ πληθυνεῖ ἑαυτῷ ἵππον οὐδὲ μὴ ἀποστρέψῃ τὸν λαὸν εἰς Αἴγυπτον, ὅπως πληθύνῃ ἑαυτῷ ἵππον, ὁ δὲ κύριος εἶπεν Οὐ προσθήσετε ἀποστρέψαι τῇ ὁδῷ ταύτῃ ἔτι.
Only, ⓘ, and let him not cause ⓘ in order to multiply horses, for the Tetragrammaton has said to you: ⓘ by this way again.

ולא ירבה לו נשים ולא יסור לבבו וכסף וזהב לא ירבה לו מאד
καὶ οὐ πληθυνεῖ ἑαυτῷ γυναῖκας, οὐδὲ μεταστήσεται αὐτοῦ ἡ καρδία· καὶ ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον οὐ πληθυνεῖ ἑαυτῷ σφόδρα.
And let him not ⓘ, so that his ⓘ; and ⓘ let him not multiply for himself ⓘ.

והיה כשבתו על כסא ממלכתו וכתב לו את משנה התורה הזאת על ספר מלפני הכהנים הלוים
καὶ ἔσται ὅταν καθίσῃ ἐπὶ τῆς ἀρχῆς αὐτοῦ, καὶ γράψει ἑαυτῷ τὸ δευτερονόμιον τοῦτο εἰς βιβλίον παρὰ τῶν ἱερέων τῶν Λευιτῶν,
And it shall be, when he ⓘ, that he shall ⓘ the ⓘ in a ⓘ, ⓘ.

והיתה עמו וקרא בו כל ימי חייו למען ילמד ליראה את יהוה אלהיו לשמר את כל דברי התורה הזאת ואת החקים האלה לעשתם
καὶ ἔσται μετ’ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἀναγνώσεται ἐν αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς αὐτοῦ, ἵνα μάθῃ φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεὸν αὐτοῦ φυλάσσεσθαι πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς ταύτας καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα ταῦτα ποιεῖν,
And it shall be with him, and he shall ⓘ all the days of his life, that he may ⓘ the Tetragrammaton his God, in order to ⓘ all the words of this Toràh and these ⓘ to put them into practice;
20
לבלתי רום לבבו מאחיו ולבלתי סור מן המצוה ימין ושמאול למען יאריך ימים על ממלכתו הוא ובניו בקרב ישראל
ἵνα μὴ ὑψωθῇ ἡ καρδία αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ, ἵνα μὴ παραβῇ ἀπὸ τῶν ἐντολῶν δεξιὰ ἢ ἀριστερά, ὅπως ἂν μακροχρονίσῃ ἐπὶ τῆς ἀρχῆς αὐτοῦ, αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ.
so that his ⓘ above his brothers, and that he ⓘ, neither to the right nor to the left, that he may ⓘ upon his kingdom, he and his sons, in the midst of Israel.
