שמעו איים אלי והקשיבו לאמים מרחוק יהוה מבטן קראני ממעי אמי הזכיר שמי
Ἀκούσατέ μου, νῆσοι, καὶ προσέχετε, ἔθνη· διὰ χρόνου πολλοῦ στήσεται, λέγει κύριος. ἐκ κοιλίας μητρός μου ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομά μου
Hear me, ⓘ, and you nations, give ear from afar: the Tetragrammaton ⓘ called me, from my mother's body he pronounced my name.

וישם פי כחרב חדה בצל ידו החביאני וישימני לחץ ברור באשפתו הסתירני
καὶ ἔθηκεν τὸ στόμα μου ὡσεὶ μάχαιραν ὀξεῖαν καὶ ὑπὸ τὴν σκέπην τῆς χειρὸς αὐτοῦ ἔκρυψέν με, ἔθηκέν με ὡς βέλος ἐκλεκτὸν καὶ ἐν τῇ φαρέτρᾳ αὐτοῦ ἐσκέπασέν με.
He has made my mouth like a ⓘ, and in the shadow of his hand he has hidden me; he has set me as a ⓘ and in his quiver he has concealed me.

ויאמר לי עבדי אתה ישראל אשר בך אתפאר
καὶ εἶπέν μοι Δοῦλός μου εἶ σύ, Ισραηλ, καὶ ἐν σοὶ δοξασθήσομαι.
And he said to me: ⓘ, in you I will be glorified.

ואני אמרתי לריק יגעתי לתהו והבל כחי כליתי אכן משפטי את יהוה ופעלתי את אלהי
καὶ ἐγὼ εἶπα Κενῶς ἐκοπίασα καὶ εἰς μάταιον καὶ εἰς οὐδὲν ἔδωκα τὴν ἰσχύν μου· διὰ τοῦτο ἡ κρίσις μου παρὰ κυρίῳ, καὶ ὁ πόνος μου ἐναντίον τοῦ θεοῦ μου.
And I said: In vain have I labored, for nothing and vanity have I spent my strength; yet my ⓘ is with the Tetragrammaton and my recompense with my God.

ועתה אמר יהוה יצרי מבטן לעבד לו לשובב יעקב אליו וישראל לא לו יאסף ואכבד בעיני יהוה ואלהי היה עזי
καὶ νῦν οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ πλάσας με ἐκ κοιλίας δοῦλον ἑαυτῷ τοῦ συναγαγεῖν τὸν Ιακωβ καὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς αὐτόν – συναχθήσομαι καὶ δοξασθήσομαι ἐναντίον κυρίου, καὶ ὁ θεός μου ἔσται μου ἰσχύς –
And now says the Tetragrammaton — ⓘ from the womb to be his servant, to bring Yaaqòv back to him ⓘ, and I am honored in the eyes of the Tetragrammaton and my God is my strength —

ויאמר נקל מהיותך לי עבד להקים את שבטי יעקב ונצירי ונצורי ישראל להשיב ונתתיך לאור גוים להיות ישועתי עד קצה הארץ
καὶ εἶπέν μοι Μέγα σοί ἐστιν τοῦ κληθῆναί σε παῖδά μου τοῦ στῆσαι τὰς φυλὰς Ιακωβ καὶ τὴν διασπορὰν τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐπιστρέψαι· ἰδοὺ τέθεικά σε εἰς διαθήκην γένους εἰς φῶς ἐθνῶν τοῦ εἶναί σε εἰς σωτηρίαν ἕως ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς.
and he said: It is too small a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Yaaqòv and to restore ⓘ: behold, I have given you as a ⓘ, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.

כה אמר יהוה גאל ישראל קדושו לבזה נפש למתעב גוי לעבד משלים מלכים יראו וקמו שרים וישתחוו למען יהוה אשר נאמן קדש ישראל ויבחרך
Οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ ῥυσάμενός σε ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ Ἁγιάσατε τὸν φαυλίζοντα τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ τὸν βδελυσσόμενον ὑπὸ τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν δούλων τῶν ἀρχόντων· βασιλεῖς ὄψονται αὐτὸν καὶ ἀναστήσονται, ἄρχοντες καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν αὐτῷ ἕνεκεν κυρίου· ὅτι πιστός ἐστιν ὁ ἅγιος Ισραηλ, καὶ ἐξελεξάμην σε.
Thus says the Tetragrammaton, the Redeemer of Israèl, its Holy One, to one who is ⓘ and abhorred by the nations, servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise, princes and they shall prostrate themselves, because of the Tetragrammaton who is faithful, the Holy One of Israèl who has chosen you.

כה אמר יהוה בעת רצון עניתיך וביום ישועה עזרתיך ואצרך ואתנך לברית עם להקים ארץ להנחיל נחלות שממות
οὕτως λέγει κύριος Καιρῷ δεκτῷ ἐπήκουσά σου καὶ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ σωτηρίας ἐβοήθησά σοι καὶ ἔδωκά σε εἰς διαθήκην ἐθνῶν τοῦ καταστῆσαι τὴν γῆν καὶ κληρονομῆσαι κληρονομίαν ἐρήμου,
Thus says the Tetragrammaton: In the ⓘ I answered you, and in the day of salvation I helped you; I will keep you and give you as a ⓘ, to restore the land, to apportion the desolate inheritances,

לאמר לאסורים צאו לאשר בחשך הגלו על דרכים ירעו ובכל שפיים מרעיתם
λέγοντα τοῖς ἐν δεσμοῖς Ἐξέλθατε, καὶ τοῖς ἐν τῷ σκότει ἀνακαλυφθῆναι. καὶ ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν βοσκηθήσονται, καὶ ἐν πάσαις ταῖς τρίβοις ἡ νομὴ αὐτῶν·
to say to the prisoners: Come out!, to those in darkness: Show yourselves! Along the roads they shall feed, and on every bare height shall be their pasture.

לא ירעבו ולא יצמאו ולא יכם שרב ושמש כי מרחמם ינהגם ועל מבועי מים ינהלם
οὐ πεινάσουσιν οὐδὲ διψήσουσιν, οὐδὲ πατάξει αὐτοὺς καύσων οὐδὲ ὁ ἥλιος, ἀλλὰ ὁ ἐλεῶν αὐτοὺς παρακαλέσει καὶ διὰ πηγῶν ὑδάτων ἄξει αὐτούς·
They shall not hunger nor thirst, nor shall scorching heat or sun strike them, for he who has ⓘ on them will lead them and by springs of water will guide them.

ושמתי כל הרי לדרך ומסלתי ירמון
καὶ θήσω πᾶν ὄρος εἰς ὁδὸν καὶ πᾶσαν τρίβον εἰς βόσκημα αὐτοῖς.
And I will make all my mountains into a road, and my highways shall be raised up.
12
הנה אלה מרחוק יבאו והנה אלה מצפון ומים ואלה מארץ סינים
ἰδοὺ οὗτοι πόρρωθεν ἔρχονται, οὗτοι ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ οὗτοι ἀπὸ θαλάσσης, ἄλλοι δὲ ἐκ γῆς Περσῶν.
Behold, these come from afar, behold these from the north and from the west, and these from the ⓘ.

רנו שמים וגילי ארץ יפצחו ופצחו הרים רנה כי נחם יהוה עמו ועניו ירחם
εὐφραίνεσθε, οὐρανοί, καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γῆ, ῥηξάτωσαν τὰ ὄρη εὐφροσύνην καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ δικαιοσύνην, ὅτι ἠλέησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς ταπεινοὺς τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ παρεκάλεσεν.
Shout for joy, O heavens, and rejoice, O earth, let the mountains break forth into jubilation: for the Tetragrammaton has comforted his people and will have compassion on his ⓘ.

ותאמר ציון עזבני יהוה ואדני שכחני
Εἶπεν δὲ Σιων Ἐγκατέλιπέν με κύριος, καὶ ὁ κύριος ἐπελάθετό μου.
Yet Tziòn had said: The Tetragrammaton has forsaken me, ⓘ has forgotten me.

התשכח אשה עולה מרחם בן בטנה גם אלה תשכחנה ואנכי לא אשכחך
μὴ ἐπιλήσεται γυνὴ τοῦ παιδίου αὐτῆς τοῦ μὴ ἐλεῆσαι τὰ ἔκγονα τῆς κοιλίας αὐτῆς; εἰ δὲ καὶ ἐπιλάθοιτο ταῦτα γυνή, ἀλλ’ ἐγὼ οὐκ ἐπιλήσομαί σου, εἶπεν κύριος.
ⓘ, so as to have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even if these should forget, I will not forget you.

הן על כפים חקתיך חומתיך נגדי תמיד
ἰδοὺ ἐπὶ τῶν χειρῶν μου ἐζωγράφησά σου τὰ τείχη, καὶ ἐνώπιόν μου εἶ διὰ παντός·
Behold, ⓘ, your walls are continually before me.
17
מהרו בניך מהרסיך ומחרביך ממך יצאו
καὶ ταχὺ οἰκοδομηθήσῃ ὑφ’ ὧν καθῃρέθης, καὶ οἱ ἐρημώσαντές σε ἐκ σοῦ ἐξελεύσονται.
Your ⓘ hasten; your destroyers and devastators go out from you.

שאי סביב עיניך וראי כלם נקבצו באו לך חי אני נאם יהוה כי כלם כעדי תלבשי ותקשרים ככלה
ἆρον κύκλῳ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου καὶ ἰδὲ πάντας, ἰδοὺ συνήχθησαν καὶ ἤλθοσαν πρὸς σέ· ζῶ ἐγώ, λέγει κύριος, ὅτι πάντας αὐτοὺς ἐνδύσῃ καὶ περιθήσῃ αὐτοὺς ὡς κόσμον νύμφης.
Lift up your eyes round about and see: they all gather together, they come to you. As I live — ⓘ — you shall clothe yourself with them all as with an ornament, and you shall bind them on as a bride.

כי חרבתיך ושממתיך וארץ הרסתיך כי עתה תצרי מיושב ורחקו מבלעיך
ὅτι τὰ ἔρημά σου καὶ τὰ διεφθαρμένα καὶ τὰ πεπτωκότα νῦν στενοχωρήσει ἀπὸ τῶν κατοικούντων, καὶ μακρυνθήσονται ἀπὸ σοῦ οἱ καταπίνοντές σε.
For your ruins and your desolate places and your devastated land — now you will be too narrow for the inhabitants, and those who devoured you will be far away.

עוד יאמרו באזניך בני שכליך צר לי המקום גשה לי ואשבה
ἐροῦσιν γὰρ εἰς τὰ ὦτά σου οἱ υἱοί σου οὓς ἀπολώλεκας Στενός μοι ὁ τόπος, ποίησόν μοι τόπον ἵνα κατοικήσω.
The children of your bereavement will yet say in your ears: The place is too narrow for me; make room for me, that I may dwell.

ואמרת בלבבך מי ילד לי את אלה ואני שכולה וגלמודה גלה וסורה ואלה מי גדל הן אני נשארתי לבדי אלה איפה הם
καὶ ἐρεῖς ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου Τίς ἐγέννησέν μοι τούτους; ἐγὼ δὲ ἄτεκνος καὶ χήρα, τούτους δὲ τίς ἐξέθρεψέν μοι; ἐγὼ δὲ κατελείφθην μόνη, οὗτοι δέ μοι ποῦ ἦσαν;
And you will say in your heart: Who has borne me these? I was bereaved and barren, exiled and put away — and who brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; where then were these?

כה אמר אדני יהוה הנה אשא אל גוים ידי ואל עמים ארים נסי והביאו בניך בחצן ובנתיך על כתף תנשאנה
Οὕτως λέγει κύριος Ἰδοὺ αἴρω εἰς τὰ ἔθνη τὴν χεῖρά μου καὶ εἰς τὰς νήσους ἀρῶ σύσσημόν μου, καὶ ἄξουσιν τοὺς υἱούς σου ἐν κόλπῳ, τὰς δὲ θυγατέρας σου ἐπ’ ὤμων ἀροῦσιν,
Thus says ⓘ: Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations and set up my ⓘ to the peoples, and they shall bring your sons in their arms and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.

והיו מלכים אמניך ושרותיהם מיניקתיך אפים ארץ ישתחוו לך ועפר רגליך ילחכו וידעת כי אני יהוה אשר לא יבשו קוי
καὶ ἔσονται βασιλεῖς τιθηνοί σου, αἱ δὲ ἄρχουσαι τροφοί σου· ἐπὶ πρόσωπον τῆς γῆς προσκυνήσουσίν σοι καὶ τὸν χοῦν τῶν ποδῶν σου λείξουσιν· καὶ γνώσῃ ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος, καὶ οὐκ αἰσχυνθήσῃ.
And kings shall be your guardians and their princesses your nursing mothers; with their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you and lick the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the Tetragrammaton: those who hope in me shall not be put to shame.

היקח מגבור מלקוח ואם שבי צדיק ימלט
μὴ λήμψεταί τις παρὰ γίγαντος σκῦλα; καὶ ἐὰν αἰχμαλωτεύσῃ τις ἀδίκως, σωθήσεται;
Can the prey be taken from the ⓘ, or can the captive of the ⓘ escape?

כי כה אמר יהוה גם שבי גבור יקח ומלקוח עריץ ימלט ואת יריבך אנכי אריב ואת בניך אנכי אושיע
οὕτως λέγει κύριος Ἐάν τις αἰχμαλωτεύσῃ γίγαντα, λήμψεται σκῦλα· λαμβάνων δὲ παρὰ ἰσχύοντος σωθήσεται· ἐγὼ δὲ τὴν κρίσιν σου κρινῶ, καὶ ἐγὼ τοὺς υἱούς σου ῥύσομαι·
But thus says the Tetragrammaton: Even the captive of the mighty warrior shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant shall escape; I myself will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.

והאכלתי את מוניך את בשרם וכעסיס דמם ישכרון וידעו כל בשר כי אני יהוה מושיעך וגאלך אביר יעקב
καὶ φάγονται οἱ θλίψαντές σε τὰς σάρκας αὐτῶν καὶ πίονται ὡς οἶνον νέον τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν καὶ μεθυσθήσονται, καὶ αἰσθανθήσεται πᾶσα σὰρξ ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ ῥυσάμενός σε καὶ ἀντιλαμβανόμενος ἰσχύος Ιακωβ.
And I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with ⓘ; and all flesh shall know that I am the Tetragrammaton, your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Yaaqòv.
