יהוה אלהי אתה ארוממך אודה שמך כי עשית פלא עצות מרחוק אמונה אמן
Κύριε ὁ θεός μου, δοξάσω σε, ὑμνήσω τὸ ὄνομά σου, ὅτι ἐποίησας θαυμαστὰ πράγματα, βουλὴν ἀρχαίαν ἀληθινήν· γένοιτο, κύριε.
the Tetragrammatonⓘ, you are my God: I exaltⓘ you, I praise your Name, because you have accomplished a wonderⓘ, plansⓘ conceived from afar, faithfulness and truthⓘ.

כי שמת מעיר לגל קריה בצורה למפלה ארמון זרים מעיר לעולם לא יבנה
ὅτι ἔθηκας πόλεις εἰς χῶμα, πόλεις ὀχυρὰς τοῦ πεσεῖν αὐτῶν τὰ θεμέλια· τῶν ἀσεβῶν πόλις εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα οὐ μὴ οἰκοδομηθῇ.
Because you have reduced the city to a heap of ruins, the fortified citadel to a crumbling mound; the palace of the strangersⓘ is no longer a city, forever it shall not be rebuilt.

על כן יכבדוך עם עז קרית גוים עריצים ייראוך
διὰ τοῦτο εὐλογήσει σε ὁ λαὸς ὁ πτωχός, καὶ πόλεις ἀνθρώπων ἀδικουμένων εὐλογήσουσίν σε·
Therefore a strongⓘ people will honor you, the city of violentⓘ nations will fear you.

כי היית מעוז לדל מעוז לאביון בצר לו מחסה מזרם צל מחרב כי רוח עריצים כזרם קיר
ἐγένου γὰρ πάσῃ πόλει ταπεινῇ βοηθὸς καὶ τοῖς ἀθυμήσασιν διὰ ἔνδειαν σκέπη, ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπων πονηρῶν ῥύσῃ αὐτούς, σκέπη διψώντων καὶ πνεῦμα ἀνθρώπων ἀδικουμένων.
Because you have been a fortressⓘ for the destitute, a fortress for the poor in their distress, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the breath of the violent is like a storm against a wall.

כחרב בציון שאון זרים תכניע חרב בצל עב זמיר עריצים יענה
εὐλογήσουσίν σε ὡς ἄνθρωποι ὀλιγόψυχοι διψῶντες ἐν Σιων ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπων ἀσεβῶν, οἷς ἡμᾶς παρέδωκας.
Like heat in a parched land you subdue the tumult of the strangersⓘ; like heat under the shadow of a cloud, the song of the violent is silenced.

ועשה יהוה צבאות לכל העמים בהר הזה משתה שמנים משתה שמרים שמנים ממחים שמרים מזקקים
καὶ ποιήσει κύριος σαβαωθ πᾶσι τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τοῦτο. πίονται εὐφροσύνην, πίονται οἶνον, χρίσονται μύρον.
And the Tetragrammaton of hostsⓘ will prepare for all peoples, on this mountain, a feast of rich foodsⓘ, a feast of aged winesⓘ, of rich marrow-laden dishes, of well-filtered wines.

ובלע בהר הזה פני הלוט הלוט על כל העמים והמסכה הנסוכה על כל הגוים
ἐν τῷ ὄρει τούτῳ παράδος ταῦτα πάντα τοῖς ἔθνεσιν· ἡ γὰρ βουλὴ αὕτη ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη.
And he will swallow up on this mountain the veilⓘ that is spread over all peoples, and the coveringⓘ spread over all nations.

בלע המות לנצח ומחה אדני יהוה דמעה מעל כל פנים וחרפת עמו יסיר מעל כל הארץ כי יהוה דבר
κατέπιεν ὁ θάνατος ἰσχύσας, καὶ πάλιν ἀφεῖλεν ὁ θεὸς πᾶν δάκρυον ἀπὸ παντὸς προσώπου· τὸ ὄνειδος τοῦ λαοῦ ἀφεῖλεν ἀπὸ πάσης τῆς γῆς, τὸ γὰρ στόμα κυρίου ἐλάλησεν.
He will swallow up death foreverⓘ, and the Lordⓘ the Tetragrammatonⓘ will wipe away tears from every face, and the reproach of his people he will remove from all the earth, for the Tetragrammatonⓘ has spoken.

ואמר ביום ההוא הנה אלהינו זה קוינו לו ויושיענו זה יהוה קוינו לו נגילה ונשמחה בישועתו
καὶ ἐροῦσιν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ Ἰδοὺ ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν, ἐφ’ ᾧ ἠλπίζομεν καὶ ἠγαλλιώμεθα, καὶ εὐφρανθησόμεθα ἐπὶ τῇ σωτηρίᾳ ἡμῶν.
And it will be said on that day: «Behold, this is our God in whom we have hoped that he might save us; this is the Tetragrammatonⓘ in whom we have hoped, let us exult and rejoice in his salvation».

כי תנוח יד יהוה בהר הזה ונדוש מואב תחתיו כהדוש מתבן במי במו מדמנה
ὅτι ἀνάπαυσιν δώσει ὁ θεὸς ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τοῦτο, καὶ καταπατηθήσεται ἡ Μωαβῖτις, ὃν τρόπον πατοῦσιν ἅλωνα ἐν ἁμάξαις·
For the handⓘ of the Tetragrammatonⓘ will rest on this mountain, and Moàvⓘ will be trodden down beneath him as straw is trodden down in a dung-pitⓘ.

ופרש ידיו בקרבו כאשר יפרש השחה לשחות והשפיל גאותו עם ארבות ידיו
καὶ ἀνήσει τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ, ὃν τρόπον καὶ αὐτὸς ἐταπείνωσεν τοῦ ἀπολέσαι, καὶ ταπεινώσει τὴν ὕβριν αὐτοῦ ἐφ’ ἃ τὰς χεῖρας ἐπέβαλεν·
And he will spread out his hands in the midst of it as a swimmer spreads them to swim, but he will lay low its prideⓘ together with the cunning of his hands.

ומבצר משגב חומתיך השח השפיל הגיע לארץ עד עפר
καὶ τὸ ὕψος τῆς καταφυγῆς τοῦ τοίχου σου ταπεινώσει, καὶ καταβήσεται ἕως τοῦ ἐδάφους.
And the inaccessible fortress of your walls he will pull down, cast to the ground, and throw to the dust.
