יששום מדבר וציה ותגל ערבה ותפרח כחבצלת
Εὐφράνθητι, ἔρημος διψῶσα, ἀγαλλιάσθω ἔρημος καὶ ἀνθείτω ὡς κρίνον,
Let the desert and the arid land rejoice, let the steppe exult and blossom like the chavatzèletⓘ.

פרח תפרח ותגל אף גילת ורנן כבוד הלבנון נתן לה הדר הכרמל והשרון המה יראו כבוד יהוה הדר אלהינו
καὶ ἐξανθήσει καὶ ἀγαλλιάσεται τὰ ἔρημα τοῦ Ιορδάνου· καὶ ἡ δόξα τοῦ Λιβάνου ἐδόθη αὐτῇ καὶ ἡ τιμὴ τοῦ Καρμήλου, καὶ ὁ λαός μου ὄψεται τὴν δόξαν κυρίου καὶ τὸ ὕψος τοῦ θεοῦ.
It shall blossom abundantly and exult, yes, with exultation and songⓘ: the gloryⓘ of the Levanòn is given to it, the splendor of the Karmèl and of the Sharòn; they shall see the kavòd of the Tetragrammatonⓘ, the splendor of our God.

חזקו ידים רפות וברכים כשלות אמצו
ἰσχύσατε, χεῖρες ἀνειμέναι καὶ γόνατα παραλελυμένα·
Strengthen the feeble handsⓘ, make firm the tottering knees.

אמרו לנמהרי לב חזקו אל תיראו הנה אלהיכם נקם יבוא גמול אלהים הוא יבוא וישעכם
παρακαλέσατε, οἱ ὀλιγόψυχοι τῇ διανοίᾳ· ἰσχύσατε, μὴ φοβεῖσθε· ἰδοὺ ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν κρίσιν ἀνταποδίδωσιν καὶ ἀνταποδώσει, αὐτὸς ἥξει καὶ σώσει ἡμᾶς.
Say to those with a fearfulⓘ heart: "Be strong, do not fear! Here is your God: vengeanceⓘ comes, the retribution of God; he himself comes and will save you."

אז תפקחנה עיני עורים ואזני חרשים תפתחנה
τότε ἀνοιχθήσονται ὀφθαλμοὶ τυφλῶν, καὶ ὦτα κωφῶν ἀκούσονται.
Then the eyes of the blindⓘ shall be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.

אז ידלג כאיל פסח ותרן לשון אלם כי נבקעו במדבר מים ונחלים בערבה
τότε ἁλεῖται ὡς ἔλαφος ὁ χωλός, καὶ τρανὴ ἔσται γλῶσσα μογιλάλων, ὅτι ἐρράγη ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ὕδωρ καὶ φάραγξ ἐν γῇ διψώσῃ,
Then the lameⓘ shall leap like a deer and the tongue of the muteⓘ shall shout for joy, for waters shall break forth in the desert and torrents in the steppe.

והיה השרב לאגם וצמאון למבועי מים בנוה תנים רבצה חציר לקנה וגמא
καὶ ἡ ἄνυδρος ἔσται εἰς ἕλη, καὶ εἰς τὴν διψῶσαν γῆν πηγὴ ὕδατος ἔσται· ἐκεῖ εὐφροσύνη ὀρνέων, ἔπαυλις καλάμου καὶ ἕλη.
And the parched ground shall become a pool and the thirsty land springs of water; in the lair of jackalsⓘ, their resting place, shall be an enclosure of reeds and papyrus.

והיה שם מסלול ודרך ודרך הקדש יקרא לה לא יעברנו טמא והוא למו הלך דרך ואוילים לא יתעו
ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁδὸς καθαρὰ καὶ ὁδὸς ἁγία κληθήσεται, καὶ οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἐκεῖ ἀκάθαρτος, οὐδὲ ἔσται ἐκεῖ ὁδὸς ἀκάθαρτος· οἱ δὲ διεσπαρμένοι πορεύσονται ἐπ’ αὐτῆς καὶ οὐ μὴ πλανηθῶσιν.
And there shall be there a highway and a road, and derèkh ha-qòdeshⓘ, the Holy Way, shall it be called: the impureⓘ shall not pass over it; it is laid out for them, for those who walk the way — not even fools shall go astray on it.

לא יהיה שם אריה ופריץ חיות בל יעלנה לא תמצא שם והלכו גאולים
καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐκεῖ λέων, οὐδὲ τῶν θηρίων τῶν πονηρῶν οὐ μὴ ἀναβῇ ἐπ’ αὐτὴν οὐδὲ μὴ εὑρεθῇ ἐκεῖ, ἀλλὰ πορεύσονται ἐν αὐτῇ λελυτρωμένοι.
No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it, none shall be found there; but the geulìmⓘ, the redeemed, shall walk on it.

ופדויי יהוה ישבון ובאו ציון ברנה ושמחת עולם על ראשם ששון ושמחה ישיגו ונסו יגון ואנחה
καὶ συνηγμένοι διὰ κύριον ἀποστραφήσονται καὶ ἥξουσιν εἰς Σιων μετ’ εὐφροσύνης, καὶ εὐφροσύνη αἰώνιος ὑπὲρ κεφαλῆς αὐτῶν· ἐπὶ γὰρ κεφαλῆς αὐτῶν αἴνεσις καὶ ἀγαλλίαμα, καὶ εὐφροσύνη καταλήμψεται αὐτούς, ἀπέδρα ὀδύνη καὶ λύπη καὶ στεναγμός.
And the peduyè of the Tetragrammatonⓘ, the ransomed, shall return and come to Tziòn with singing, and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; joy and gladness shall overtake them, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
