רני עקרה לא ילדה פצחי רנה וצהלי לא חלה כי רבים בני שוממה מבני בעולה אמר יהוה
Εὐφράνθητι, στεῖρα ἡ οὐ τίκτουσα, ῥῆξον καὶ βόησον, ἡ οὐκ ὠδίνουσα, ὅτι πολλὰ τὰ τέκνα τῆς ἐρήμου μᾶλλον ἢ τῆς ἐχούσης τὸν ἄνδρα, εἶπεν γὰρ κύριος.
Rejoice, O barren oneⓘ who has not borne a child, break forth in a cry of jubilationⓘ and exult, you who have not had birth-pangs, for many are the children of the desolate oneⓘ more than the children of her who has a husband, says the Tetragrammaton.

הרחיבי מקום אהלך ויריעות משכנותיך יטו אל תחשכי האריכי מיתריך ויתדתיך חזקי
πλάτυνον τὸν τόπον τῆς σκηνῆς σου καὶ τῶν αὐλαιῶν σου, πῆξον, μὴ φείσῃ· μάκρυνον τὰ σχοινίσματά σου καὶ τοὺς πασσάλους σου κατίσχυσον.
Enlarge the place of your tentⓘ and let the curtains of your dwellings be stretched out; do not spare; lengthen your cordsⓘ and strengthen your stakesⓘ.

כי ימין ושמאול תפרצי וזרעך גוים יירש וערים נשמות יושיבו
ἔτι εἰς τὰ δεξιὰ καὶ εἰς τὰ ἀριστερὰ ἐκπέτασον, καὶ τὸ σπέρμα σου ἔθνη κληρονομήσει, καὶ πόλεις ἠρημωμένας κατοικιεῖς.
For to the right and to the left you shall spread outⓘ, and your offspring shall inherit nationsⓘ and shall resettle desolate cities.

אל תיראי כי לא תבושי ואל תכלמי כי לא תחפירי כי בשת עלומיך תשכחי וחרפת אלמנותיך לא תזכרי עוד
μὴ φοβοῦ ὅτι κατῃσχύνθης, μηδὲ ἐντραπῇς ὅτι ὠνειδίσθης· ὅτι αἰσχύνην αἰώνιον ἐπιλήσῃ καὶ ὄνειδος τῆς χηρείας σου οὐ μὴ μνησθήσῃ.
Do not fearⓘ, for you will not be put to shame; and do not be dismayed, for you will not blush; for you will forget the disgrace of your youthⓘ and will no longer remember the reproach of your widowhoodⓘ.

כי בעליך עשיך יהוה צבאות שמו וגאלך קדוש ישראל אלהי כל הארץ יקרא
ὅτι κύριος ὁ ποιῶν σε, κύριος σαβαωθ ὄνομα αὐτῷ· καὶ ὁ ῥυσάμενός σε αὐτὸς θεὸς Ισραηλ, πάσῃ τῇ γῇ κληθήσεται.
For your husband is he who made youⓘ, the Tetragrammaton of hostsⓘ is his name, and your redeemerⓘ is the Holy One of Israel, he shall be called the God of all the earth.

כי כאשה עזובה ועצובת רוח קראך יהוה ואשת נעורים כי תמאס אמר אלהיך
οὐχ ὡς γυναῖκα καταλελειμμένην καὶ ὀλιγόψυχον κέκληκέν σε κύριος οὐδ’ ὡς γυναῖκα ἐκ νεότητος μεμισημένην, εἶπεν ὁ θεός σου·
For like a forsakenⓘ woman and afflicted in spirit the Tetragrammaton has called you, and like the wife of one's youth when she is rejectedⓘ, says your God.

ברגע קטן עזבתיך וברחמים גדלים אקבצך
χρόνον μικρὸν κατέλιπόν σε καὶ μετὰ ἐλέους μεγάλου ἐλεήσω σε,
For a brief momentⓘ I forsook you, but with great merciesⓘ I will gather you.

בשצף קצף הסתרתי פני רגע ממך ובחסד עולם רחמתיך אמר גאלך יהוה
ἐν θυμῷ μικρῷ ἀπέστρεψα τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπὸ σοῦ καὶ ἐν ἐλέει αἰωνίῳ ἐλεήσω σε, εἶπεν ὁ ῥυσάμενός σε κύριος.
In a surge of wrathⓘ I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting loveⓘ I have had compassion on you, says your redeemer, the Tetragrammaton.

כי מי נח זאת לי אשר נשבעתי מעבר מי נח עוד על הארץ כן נשבעתי מקצף עליך ומגער בך
ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ ἐπὶ Νωε τοῦτό μοί ἐστιν· καθότι ὤμοσα αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ χρόνῳ ἐκείνῳ τῇ γῇ μὴ θυμωθήσεσθαι ἐπὶ σοὶ ἔτι μηδὲ ἐν ἀπειλῇ σου
For this is to me like the waters of Noahⓘ: as I swore that the waters of Noah would no longer overflow the earth, so I swear that I will no longer be angry with you or rebuke you.

כי ההרים ימושו והגבעות תמוטנה וחסדי מאתך לא ימוש וברית שלומי לא תמוט אמר מרחמך יהוה
τὰ ὄρη μεταστήσεσθαι οὐδὲ οἱ βουνοί σου μετακινηθήσονται, οὕτως οὐδὲ τὸ παρ’ ἐμοῦ σοι ἔλεος ἐκλείψει οὐδὲ ἡ διαθήκη τῆς εἰρήνης σου οὐ μὴ μεταστῇ· εἶπεν γὰρ κύριος Ἵλεώς σοι.
For the mountainsⓘ may depart and the hills may be removed, but my love will not depart from you, and the covenant of my peaceⓘ will not be removed, says he who has compassion on you, the Tetragrammaton.

עניה סערה לא נחמה הנה אנכי מרביץ בפוך אבניך ויסדתיך בספירים
Ταπεινὴ καὶ ἀκατάστατος, οὐ παρεκλήθης, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἑτοιμάζω σοὶ ἄνθρακα τὸν λίθον σου καὶ τὰ θεμέλιά σου σάπφειρον
Afflicted, storm-tossedⓘ, not comforted: behold, I will set your stones in antimonyⓘ and lay your foundations with sapphiresⓘ.

ושמתי כדכד שמשתיך ושעריך לאבני אקדח וכל גבולך לאבני חפץ
καὶ θήσω τὰς ἐπάλξεις σου ἴασπιν καὶ τὰς πύλας σου λίθους κρυστάλλου καὶ τὸν περίβολόν σου λίθους ἐκλεκτοὺς
I will make your battlements of rubyⓘ, your gates of stones of carbuncleⓘ and all your wall of precious stones.

וכל בניך למודי יהוה ורב שלום בניך
καὶ πάντας τοὺς υἱούς σου διδακτοὺς θεοῦ καὶ ἐν πολλῇ εἰρήνῃ τὰ τέκνα σου.
And all your children shall be disciples of the Tetragrammatonⓘ, and great shall be the peace of your children.

בצדקה תכונני רחקי מעשק כי לא תיראי וממחתה כי לא תקרב אליך
καὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ οἰκοδομηθήσῃ· ἀπέχου ἀπὸ ἀδίκου καὶ οὐ φοβηθήσῃ, καὶ τρόμος οὐκ ἐγγιεῖ σοι.
In righteousnessⓘ you shall be established: be far from oppressionⓘ for you will have nothing to fear, and from terror for it will not come near you.

הן גור יגור אפס מאותי מי גר אתך עליך יפול
ἰδοὺ προσήλυτοι προσελεύσονταί σοι δι’ ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ σὲ καταφεύξονται.
Behold, if any should gather against you, it is not from me; whoever gathers against you shall fall because of you.

הן הנה אנכי בראתי חרש נפח באש פחם ומוציא כלי למעשהו ואנכי בראתי משחית לחבל
ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ κτίζω σε, οὐχ ὡς χαλκεὺς φυσῶν ἄνθρακας καὶ ἐκφέρων σκεῦος εἰς ἔργον· ἐγὼ δὲ ἔκτισά σε οὐκ εἰς ἀπώλειαν φθεῖραι
Behold, I have created the smithⓘ who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose, and I have created the destroyerⓘ.

כל כלי יוצר עליך לא יצלח וכל לשון תקום אתך למשפט תרשיעי זאת נחלת עבדי יהוה וצדקתם מאתי נאם יהוה
πᾶν σκεῦος φθαρτόν. ἐπὶ σὲ οὐκ εὐοδώσω, καὶ πᾶσα φωνὴ ἀναστήσεται ἐπὶ σὲ εἰς κρίσιν· πάντας αὐτοὺς ἡττήσεις, οἱ δὲ ἔνοχοί σου ἔσονται ἐν αὐτῇ. ἔστιν κληρονομία τοῖς θεραπεύουσιν κύριον, καὶ ὑμεῖς ἔσεσθέ μοι δίκαιοι, λέγει κύριος.
No weapon forged against you shall succeed, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Tetragrammatonⓘ, and their righteousness is from me, declares the Tetragrammaton.
