וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
Εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
And ⓘ the ⓘ to Moshè, saying:

קדש לי כל בכור פטר כל רחם בבני ישראל באדם ובבהמה לי הוא
Ἁγίασόν μοι πᾶν πρωτότοκον πρωτογενὲς διανοῖγον πᾶσαν μήτραν ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους· ἐμοί ἐστιν.
«ⓘ every ⓘ, ⓘ ⓘ among the children of Israèl, both of man and of beast: to me it belongs».

ויאמר משה אל העם זכור את היום הזה אשר יצאתם ממצרים מבית עבדים כי בחזק יד הוציא יהוה אתכם מזה ולא יאכל חמץ
Εἶπεν δὲ Μωϋσῆς πρὸς τὸν λαόν Μνημονεύετε τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην, ἐν ᾗ ἐξήλθατε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας· ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταιᾷ ἐξήγαγεν ὑμᾶς κύριος ἐντεῦθεν· καὶ οὐ βρωθήσεται ζύμη.
And Moshè said to the people: «ⓘ on which you came out of Mitzràyim, ⓘ, for with ⓘ the Tetragrammaton brought you out from there: let no ⓘ be eaten.

היום אתם יצאים בחדש האביב
ἐν γὰρ τῇ σήμερον ὑμεῖς ἐκπορεύεσθε ἐν μηνὶ τῶν νέων.
Today you go out, in the month of ⓘ, the month of the ripening ears.

והיה כי יביאך יהוה אל ארץ הכנעני והחתי והאמרי והחוי והיבוסי אשר נשבע לאבתיך לתת לך ארץ זבת חלב ודבש ועבדת את העבדה הזאת בחדש הזה
καὶ ἔσται ἡνίκα ἐὰν εἰσαγάγῃ σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὴν γῆν τῶν Χαναναίων καὶ Χετταίων καὶ Ευαίων καὶ Γεργεσαίων καὶ Αμορραίων καὶ Φερεζαίων καὶ Ιεβουσαίων, ἣν ὤμοσεν τοῖς πατράσιν σου δοῦναί σοι, γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι, καὶ ποιήσεις τὴν λατρείαν ταύτην ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τούτῳ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And it shall come to pass, when the ⓘ shall bring you into the land of the ⓘ, the ⓘ, the ⓘ, the ⓘ, the Amorites, the ⓘ and the Jebusites — a land that he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey — you shall perform ⓘ, this latréia, in this month:—— Masoretic (MT) ——And it shall come to pass, when the ⓘ shall bring you into the land of the ⓘ, of the Chittìta, of the Emorìta, of the Chivvìta and of the Ievusìta — a land that he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey — you shall perform ⓘ, this ʿavodàh, in this month:

שבעת ימים תאכל מצת וביום השביעי חג ליהוה
ἓξ ἡμέρας ἔδεσθε ἄζυμα, τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἑορτὴ κυρίου·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——ⓘ you shall eat ⓘ, and on the seventh day there shall be a ⓘ;—— Masoretic (MT) ——seven days you shall eat ⓘ, the matzòt, and the seventh day shall be a solemn feast for the Tetragrammaton;

מצות יאכל את שבעת הימים ולא יראה לך חמץ ולא יראה לך שאר בכל גבלך
ἄζυμα ἔδεσθε τὰς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας, οὐκ ὀφθήσεταί σοι ζυμωτόν, οὐδὲ ἔσται σοι ζύμη ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ὁρίοις σου.
unleavened bread shall be eaten for the seven days, and no leavened thing shall be seen with you, nor ⓘ in all your territories.

והגדת לבנך ביום ההוא לאמר בעבור זה עשה יהוה לי בצאתי ממצרים
καὶ ἀναγγελεῖς τῷ υἱῷ σου ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων Διὰ τοῦτο ἐποίησεν κύριος ὁ θεός μοι, ὡς ἐξεπορευόμην ἐξ Αἰγύπτου.
And ⓘ on that day, saying: This is because of what the ⓘ did for me when I came out of Mitzràyim.

והיה לך לאות על ידך ולזכרון בין עיניך למען תהיה תורת יהוה בפיך כי ביד חזקה הוצאך יהוה ממצרים
καὶ ἔσται σοι σημεῖον ἐπὶ τῆς χειρός σου καὶ μνημόσυνον πρὸ ὀφθαλμῶν σου, ὅπως ἂν γένηται ὁ νόμος κυρίου ἐν τῷ στόματί σου· ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταιᾷ ἐξήγαγέν σε κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου.
And this shall be to you as ⓘ and as ⓘ, so that the ⓘ, his instruction, may be in your mouth: for with a mighty hand the ⓘ brought you out of Mitzràyim.

ושמרת את החקה הזאת למועדה מימים ימימה
καὶ φυλάξεσθε τὸν νόμον τοῦτον κατὰ καιροὺς ὡρῶν ἀφ’ ἡμερῶν εἰς ἡμέρας.
And you shall keep this ⓘ at its appointed time, from year to year.

והיה כי יבאך יהוה אל ארץ הכנעני כאשר נשבע לך ולאבתיך ונתנה לך
καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν εἰσαγάγῃ σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὴν γῆν τῶν Χαναναίων, ὃν τρόπον ὤμοσεν τοῖς πατράσιν σου, καὶ δώσει σοι αὐτήν,
And it shall come to pass, when the ⓘ shall bring you into the land of the Kenaʿanìta, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it to you as a possession,

והעברת כל פטר רחם ליהוה וכל פטר שגר בהמה אשר יהיה לך הזכרים ליהוה
καὶ ἀφελεῖς πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν, τὰ ἀρσενικά, τῷ κυρίῳ· πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν ἐκ τῶν βουκολίων ἢ ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσίν σου, ὅσα ἐὰν γένηταί σοι, τὰ ἀρσενικά, ἁγιάσεις τῷ κυρίῳ.
ⓘ everything ⓘ: every firstling of your livestock, the males, belong to the Tetragrammaton.

וכל פטר חמר תפדה בשה ואם לא תפדה וערפתו וכל בכור אדם בבניך תפדה
πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν ὄνου ἀλλάξεις προβάτῳ· ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀλλάξῃς, λυτρώσῃ αὐτό. πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἀνθρώπου τῶν υἱῶν σου λυτρώσῃ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Every firstborn that opens the womb of the ⓘ you shall ⓘ with a lamb; ⓘ. Every firstborn of man among your sons you shall ⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And every firstborn of the ⓘ ⓘ with a lamb; if you do not redeem it, ⓘ. And every firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem, performing the pidyòn ha-bèn, the redemption of the son.

והיה כי ישאלך בנך מחר לאמר מה זאת ואמרת אליו בחזק יד הוציאנו יהוה ממצרים מבית עבדים
ἐὰν δὲ ἐρωτήσῃ σε ὁ υἱός σου μετὰ ταῦτα λέγων Τί τοῦτο; καὶ ἐρεῖς αὐτῷ ὅτι Ἐν χειρὶ κραταιᾷ ἐξήγαγεν ἡμᾶς κύριος ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας·
And it shall come to pass, when ⓘ: What does this mean?, you shall answer him: With a mighty hand the Tetragrammaton brought us out ⓘ, out of the house of slaves;

ויהי כי הקשה פרעה לשלחנו ויהרג יהוה כל בכור בארץ מצרים מבכר אדם ועד בכור בהמה על כן אני זבח ליהוה כל פטר רחם הזכרים וכל בכור בני אפדה
ἡνίκα δὲ ἐσκλήρυνεν Φαραω ἐξαποστεῖλαι ἡμᾶς, ἀπέκτεινεν πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ ἀπὸ πρωτοτόκων ἀνθρώπων ἕως πρωτοτόκων κτηνῶν· διὰ τοῦτο ἐγὼ θύω τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν, τὰ ἀρσενικά, καὶ πᾶν πρωτότοκον τῶν υἱῶν μου λυτρώσομαι.
and because Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the Tetragrammaton struck down every ⓘ in the land of Mitzràyim, from the firstborn of man to the firstborn of the livestock: therefore I ⓘ to the Tetragrammaton every male that opens the womb, and every firstborn of my sons I redeem.

והיה לאות על ידכה ולטוטפת בין עיניך כי בחזק יד הוציאנו יהוה ממצרים
καὶ ἔσται εἰς σημεῖον ἐπὶ τῆς χειρός σου καὶ ἀσάλευτον πρὸ ὀφθαλμῶν σου· ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταιᾷ ἐξήγαγέν σε κύριος ἐξ Αἰγύπτου.
And this shall be a sign upon your hand and ⓘ between your eyes, the totafòt: for with a mighty hand the Tetragrammaton brought us out of Mitzràyim.

ויהי בשלח פרעה את העם ולא נחם אלהים דרך ארץ פלשתים כי קרוב הוא כי אמר אלהים פן ינחם העם בראתם מלחמה ושבו מצרימה
Ὡς δὲ ἐξαπέστειλεν Φαραω τὸν λαόν, οὐχ ὡδήγησεν αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς ὁδὸν γῆς Φυλιστιιμ, ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἦν· εἶπεν γὰρ ὁ θεός Μήποτε μεταμελήσῃ τῷ λαῷ ἰδόντι πόλεμον, καὶ ἀποστρέψῃ εἰς Αἴγυπτον.
And it came to pass, when Pharaoh let the people go, that ⓘ did not lead them by the way of the land of the ⓘ, although it was the nearest: for God said: Lest the people ⓘ at the sight of war and turn back toward Mitzràyim.

ויסב אלהים את העם דרך המדבר ים סוף וחמשים עלו בני ישראל מארץ מצרים
καὶ ἐκύκλωσεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν λαὸν ὁδὸν τὴν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον εἰς τὴν ἐρυθρὰν θάλασσαν. πέμπτη δὲ γενεὰ ἀνέβησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And ⓘ led the people around by the way that goes toward the desert, toward the ⓘ; and in the ⓘ the children of Israel went up from the land of Egypt.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And ⓘ led the people around by the way of the desert, toward the ⓘ, the Sea of Reeds; and ⓘ, drawn up for battle, the children of Israèl went up from the land of Mitzràyim.

ויקח משה את עצמות יוסף עמו כי השבע השביע את בני ישראל לאמר פקד יפקד אלהים אתכם והעליתם את עצמתי מזה אתכם
καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωϋσῆς τὰ ὀστᾶ Ιωσηφ μεθ’ ἑαυτοῦ· ὅρκῳ γὰρ ὥρκισεν Ιωσηφ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ λέγων Ἐπισκοπῇ ἐπισκέψεται ὑμᾶς κύριος, καὶ συνανοίσετέ μου τὰ ὀστᾶ ἐντεῦθεν μεθ’ ὑμῶν.
And Moshè took with him the ⓘ, for he had made the children of Israèl swear solemnly, saying: ⓘ — surely God will remember you — and you shall carry up my bones from here together with you.

ויסעו מסכת ויחנו באתם בקצה המדבר
ἐξάραντες δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐκ Σοκχωθ ἐστρατοπέδευσαν ἐν Οθομ παρὰ τὴν ἔρημον.
And they set out from ⓘ and encamped at ⓘ, at the edge of the desert.

ויהוה הלך לפניהם יומם בעמוד ענן לנחתם הדרך ולילה בעמוד אש להאיר להם ללכת יומם ולילה
ὁ δὲ θεὸς ἡγεῖτο αὐτῶν, ἡμέρας μὲν ἐν στύλῳ νεφέλης δεῖξαι αὐτοῖς τὴν ὁδόν, τὴν δὲ νύκτα ἐν στύλῳ πυρός·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And ⓘ went before them: by day in a ⓘ to show them the way, and by night in a ⓘ; ⓘ—— Masoretic (MT) ——And the ⓘ went before them: by day in a ⓘ to guide them on the way, and by night in a ⓘ to give them light, that they might walk day and night.
22
לא ימיש עמוד הענן יומם ועמוד האש לילה לפני העם
οὐκ ἐξέλιπεν ὁ στῦλος τῆς νεφέλης ἡμέρας καὶ ὁ στῦλος τοῦ πυρὸς νυκτὸς ἐναντίον παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ.
The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night never withdrew ⓘ.
