אז ישיר משה ובני ישראל את השירה הזאת ליהוה ויאמרו לאמר אשירה ליהוה כי גאה גאה סוס ורכבו רמה בים
Τότε ᾖσεν Μωϋσῆς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὴν ᾠδὴν ταύτην τῷ θεῷ καὶ εἶπαν λέγοντες Ἄισωμεν τῷ κυρίῳ, ἐνδόξως γὰρ δεδόξασται· ἵππον καὶ ἀναβάτην ἔρριψεν εἰς θάλασσαν.
Then Moshehⓘ and the children of Israel sang this song to the Tetragrammatonⓘ and said: «I will sing to the Tetragrammaton, for he has been highly exaltedⓘ: the horse and its rider he has cast into the seaⓘ!».

עזי וזמרת יה ויהי לי לישועה זה אלי ואנוהו אלהי אבי וארממנהו
βοηθὸς καὶ σκεπαστὴς ἐγένετό μοι εἰς σωτηρίαν· οὗτός μου θεός, καὶ δοξάσω αὐτόν, θεὸς τοῦ πατρός μου, καὶ ὑψώσω αὐτόν.

מרכבת פרעה וחילו ירה בים ומבחר שלשיו טבעו בים סוף
ἅρματα Φαραω καὶ τὴν δύναμιν αὐτοῦ ἔρριψεν εἰς θάλασσαν, ἐπιλέκτους ἀναβάτας τριστάτας κατεπόντισεν ἐν ἐρυθρᾷ θαλάσσῃ.
The chariots of Pharaohⓘ and his army he cast into the sea; his chosen warriors were drowned in the Sea of Sufⓘ.

תהמת יכסימו ירדו במצולת כמו אבן
πόντῳ ἐκάλυψεν αὐτούς, κατέδυσαν εἰς βυθὸν ὡσεὶ λίθος.
The deepsⓘ covered them; they sank into the depths like a stone.

ימינך יהוה נאדרי בכח ימינך יהוה תרעץ אויב
ἡ δεξιά σου, κύριε, δεδόξασται ἐν ἰσχύι· ἡ δεξιά σου χείρ, κύριε, ἔθραυσεν ἐχθρούς.
Your right hand, Tetragrammatonⓘ, is magnificent in power; your right hand, Tetragrammatonⓘ, crushes the enemy.

וברב גאונך תהרס קמיך תשלח חרנך יאכלמו כקש
καὶ τῷ πλήθει τῆς δόξης σου συνέτριψας τοὺς ὑπεναντίους· ἀπέστειλας τὴν ὀργήν σου, καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτοὺς ὡς καλάμην.
In the greatness of your majesty you overthrow those who rise up against you; you send forth your burning wrath, which consumes them like stubbleⓘ.

וברוח אפיך נערמו מים נצבו כמו נד נזלים קפאו תהמת בלב ים
καὶ διὰ πνεύματος τοῦ θυμοῦ σου διέστη τὸ ὕδωρ· ἐπάγη ὡσεὶ τεῖχος τὰ ὕδατα, ἐπάγη τὰ κύματα ἐν μέσῳ τῆς θαλάσσης.
At the blast of your nostrilsⓘ the waters were heaped up, the floods stood erect like a dam, the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea.

אמר אויב ארדף אשיג אחלק שלל תמלאמו נפשי אריק חרבי תורישמו ידי
εἶπεν ὁ ἐχθρός Διώξας καταλήμψομαι, μεριῶ σκῦλα, ἐμπλήσω ψυχήν μου, ἀνελῶ τῇ μαχαίρῃ μου, κυριεύσει ἡ χείρ μου.
The enemy said: «I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil, my craving will be sated with them, I will draw the sword, my hand will dispossess them».

נשפת ברוחך כסמו ים צללו כעופרת במים אדירים
ἀπέστειλας τὸ πνεῦμά σου, ἐκάλυψεν αὐτοὺς θάλασσα· ἔδυσαν ὡσεὶ μόλιβος ἐν ὕδατι σφοδρῷ.
You blew with your blast: the sea covered them, they sank like leadⓘ in the mighty waters.

מי כמכה באלם יהוה מי כמכה נאדר בקדש נורא תהלת עשה פלא
τίς ὅμοιός σοι ἐν θεοῖς, κύριε; τίς ὅμοιός σοι, δεδοξασμένος ἐν ἁγίοις, θαυμαστὸς ἐν δόξαις, ποιῶν τέρατα;
Who is like you among the godsⓘ, Tetragrammatonⓘ? Who is like you, magnificent in holinessⓘ, terrible in praisesⓘ, worker of wondersⓘ?

נטית ימינך תבלעמו ארץ
ἐξέτεινας τὴν δεξιάν σου, κατέπιεν αὐτοὺς γῆ.
You stretched out your right hand: the earthⓘ swallowed them.
13
נחית בחסדך עם זו גאלת נהלת בעזך אל נוה קדשך
ὡδήγησας τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου τὸν λαόν σου τοῦτον, ὃν ἐλυτρώσω, παρεκάλεσας τῇ ἰσχύι σου εἰς κατάλυμα ἅγιόν σου.
You guided with your lovingkindnessⓘ the people you have redeemedⓘ, you led them with your strength toward your holy dwellingⓘ.

שמעו עמים ירגזון חיל אחז ישבי פלשת
ἤκουσαν ἔθνη καὶ ὠργίσθησαν· ὠδῖνες ἔλαβον κατοικοῦντας Φυλιστιιμ.
The peoples heard and trembled; anguish seized the inhabitants of Philistiaⓘ.

אז נבהלו אלופי אדום אילי מואב יאחזמו רעד נמגו כל ישבי כנען
τότε ἔσπευσαν ἡγεμόνες Εδωμ, καὶ ἄρχοντες Μωαβιτῶν, ἔλαβεν αὐτοὺς τρόμος, ἐτάκησαν πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες Χανααν.
Then the chiefs of Edòmⓘ were dismayed, the mighty of Moàvⓘ were seized with trembling, all the inhabitants of Kenàanⓘ melted away.

תפל עליהם אימתה ופחד בגדל זרועך ידמו כאבן עד יעבר עמך יהוה עד יעבר עם זו קנית
ἐπιπέσοι ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς φόβος καὶ τρόμος, μεγέθει βραχίονός σου ἀπολιθωθήτωσαν, ἕως ἂν παρέλθῃ ὁ λαός σου, κύριε, ἕως ἂν παρέλθῃ ὁ λαός σου οὗτος, ὃν ἐκτήσω.
Let dread and terror fall upon them; through the greatness of your arm let them be mute as a stone, until your people pass over, Tetragrammatonⓘ, until the people pass over whom you have purchasedⓘ.

תבאמו ותטעמו בהר נחלתך מכון לשבתך פעלת יהוה מקדש אדני כוננו ידיך
εἰσαγαγὼν καταφύτευσον αὐτοὺς εἰς ὄρος κληρονομίας σου, εἰς ἕτοιμον κατοικητήριόν σου, ὃ κατειργάσω, κύριε, ἁγίασμα, κύριε, ὃ ἡτοίμασαν αἱ χεῖρές σου.
You will bring them in and plantⓘ them on the mountain of your inheritance, the firm place of your dwelling that you have wrought, Tetragrammatonⓘ, the sanctuaryⓘ that your hands have founded.

יהוה ימלך לעלם ועד
κύριος βασιλεύων τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ἐπ’ αἰῶνα καὶ ἔτι.
The Tetragrammatonⓘ will reign forever and everⓘ.
19
כי בא סוס פרעה ברכבו ובפרשיו בים וישב יהוה עלהם את מי הים ובני ישראל הלכו ביבשה בתוך הים
Ὅτι εἰσῆλθεν ἵππος Φαραω σὺν ἅρμασιν καὶ ἀναβάταις εἰς θάλασσαν, καὶ ἐπήγαγεν ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς κύριος τὸ ὕδωρ τῆς θαλάσσης· οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐπορεύθησαν διὰ ξηρᾶς ἐν μέσῳ τῆς θαλάσσης.
For the horse of Pharaoh entered with his chariot and his horsemen into the sea, and the Tetragrammatonⓘ brought back upon them the waters of the sea, while the children of Israel walked on dry groundⓘ in the midst of the sea.

ותקח מרים הנביאה אחות אהרן את התף בידה ותצאן כל הנשים אחריה בתפים ובמחלת
Λαβοῦσα δὲ Μαριαμ ἡ προφῆτις ἡ ἀδελφὴ Ααρων τὸ τύμπανον ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐξήλθοσαν πᾶσαι αἱ γυναῖκες ὀπίσω αὐτῆς μετὰ τυμπάνων καὶ χορῶν,
And Miryàm the prophetessⓘ, sister of Aharònⓘ, took the timbrelⓘ in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and dancesⓘ;

ותען להם מרים שירו ליהוה כי גאה גאה סוס ורכבו רמה בים
ἐξῆρχεν δὲ αὐτῶν Μαριαμ λέγουσα Ἄισωμεν τῷ κυρίῳ, ἐνδόξως γὰρ δεδόξασται· ἵππον καὶ ἀναβάτην ἔρριψεν εἰς θάλασσαν.
and Miryàm chanted to them: «Sing to the Tetragrammaton, for he has been highly exalted: the horse and its rider he has cast into the sea!».

ויסע משה את ישראל מים סוף ויצאו אל מדבר שור וילכו שלשת ימים במדבר ולא מצאו מים
Ἐξῆρεν δὲ Μωϋσῆς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ θαλάσσης ἐρυθρᾶς καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν ἔρημον Σουρ· καὶ ἐπορεύοντο τρεῖς ἡμέρας ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ οὐχ ηὕρισκον ὕδωρ ὥστε πιεῖν.
And Mosheh made Israel set out from the Sea of Suf toward the wilderness of Shurⓘ; they walked three days in the wilderness without finding water.

ויבאו מרתה ולא יכלו לשתת מים ממרה כי מרים הם על כן קרא שמה מרה
ἦλθον δὲ εἰς Μερρα καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο πιεῖν ἐκ Μερρας, πικρὸν γὰρ ἦν· διὰ τοῦτο ἐπωνομάσθη τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου Πικρία.
They came to Maràhⓘ, but they could not drink that water, for it was bitterⓘ— therefore that place was called Maràh, Bitternessⓘ.

וילנו העם על משה לאמר מה נשתה
καὶ διεγόγγυζεν ὁ λαὸς ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν λέγοντες Τί πιόμεθα;
And the people murmuredⓘ against Mosheh, saying: «What shall we drink?».
25
ויצעק אל יהוה ויורהו יהוה עץ וישלך אל המים וימתקו המים שם שם לו חק ומשפט ושם נסהו
ἐβόησεν δὲ Μωϋσῆς πρὸς κύριον· καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτῷ κύριος ξύλον, καὶ ἐνέβαλεν αὐτὸ εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ, καὶ ἐγλυκάνθη τὸ ὕδωρ. ἐκεῖ ἔθετο αὐτῷ δικαιώματα καὶ κρίσεις καὶ ἐκεῖ ἐπείρασεν αὐτὸν
Mosheh cried out to the Tetragrammatonⓘ, and the Tetragrammaton showed him a piece of woodⓘ; he cast it into the water, and the water was sweetened. There he gave him statute and ordinanceⓘ, and there he tested him.

ויאמר אם שמוע תשמע לקול יהוה אלהיך והישר בעיניו תעשה והאזנת למצותיו ושמרת כל חקיו כל המחלה אשר שמתי במצרים לא אשים עליך כי אני יהוה רפאך
καὶ εἶπεν Ἐὰν ἀκοῇ ἀκούσῃς τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου καὶ τὰ ἀρεστὰ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ ποιήσῃς καὶ ἐνωτίσῃ ταῖς ἐντολαῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ φυλάξῃς πάντα τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ, πᾶσαν νόσον, ἣν ἐπήγαγον τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις, οὐκ ἐπάξω ἐπὶ σέ· ἐγὼ γάρ εἰμι κύριος ὁ ἰώμενός σε.
And he said: «If you will truly listen to the voice of the Tetragrammatonⓘ your God, and will do what is right in his eyes, and will give ear to his commandments and keepⓘ all his statutes, none of the diseases that I inflicted on Egypt will I send upon you: for I am the Tetragrammaton who heals youⓘ».

ויבאו אילמה ושם שתים עשרה עינת מים ושבעים תמרים ויחנו שם על המים
Καὶ ἤλθοσαν εἰς Αιλιμ, καὶ ἦσαν ἐκεῖ δώδεκα πηγαὶ ὑδάτων καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα στελέχη φοινίκων· παρενέβαλον δὲ ἐκεῖ παρὰ τὰ ὕδατα.
And they came to Elìmⓘ, where there were twelve springsⓘ and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.
