ואתה הקרב אליך את אהרן אחיך ואת בניו אתו מתוך בני ישראל לכהנו לי אהרן נדב ואביהוא אלעזר ואיתמר בני אהרן
Καὶ σὺ προσαγάγου πρὸς σεαυτὸν τόν τε Ααρων τὸν ἀδελφόν σου καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἱερατεύειν μοι, Ααρων καὶ Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ καὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ υἱοὺς Ααρων.
And you, bring near to yourself Aharòn your brother and his sons with him, from among the children of Israèl, that they may serve me as priestsⓘ: Aharòn, Nadàv and Avihù, Elʿazàr and Itamàr, sons of Aharòn.

ועשית בגדי קדש לאהרן אחיך לכבוד ולתפארת
καὶ ποιήσεις στολὴν ἁγίαν Ααρων τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου εἰς τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν.
And you shall make holy garmentsⓘ for Aharòn your brother, for glory and for splendorⓘ.

ואתה תדבר אל כל חכמי לב אשר מלאתיו רוח חכמה ועשו את בגדי אהרן לקדשו לכהנו לי
καὶ σὺ λάλησον πᾶσι τοῖς σοφοῖς τῇ διανοίᾳ, οὓς ἐνέπλησα πνεύματος αἰσθήσεως, καὶ ποιήσουσιν τὴν στολὴν τὴν ἁγίαν Ααρων εἰς τὸ ἅγιον, ἐν ᾗ ἱερατεύσει μοι.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And you, speak to all the wise in mindⓘ, whom I have filled with a spirit of perceptionⓘ, and they shall make the holy garment of Aharòn for the sanctuary, in which he shall serve me as priestⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And you shall speak to all the wise of heartⓘ, whom I have filled with a spirit of wisdomⓘ, and they shall make the garments of Aharòn to sanctify him, that he may serve me as priest.

ואלה הבגדים אשר יעשו חשן ואפוד ומעיל וכתנת תשבץ מצנפת ואבנט ועשו בגדי קדש לאהרן אחיך ולבניו לכהנו לי
καὶ αὗται αἱ στολαί, ἃς ποιήσουσιν· τὸ περιστήθιον καὶ τὴν ἐπωμίδα καὶ τὸν ποδήρη καὶ χιτῶνα κοσυμβωτὸν καὶ κίδαριν καὶ ζώνην· καὶ ποιήσουσιν στολὰς ἁγίας Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἱερατεύειν μοι.
And these are the garments which they shall make: the breastpieceⓘ, the efòdⓘ, the robeⓘ, the woven tunicⓘ, the turbanⓘ and the sashⓘ; and they shall make holy garments for Aharòn your brother and for his sons, that they may serve me as priests.

והם יקחו את הזהב ואת התכלת ואת הארגמן ואת תולעת השני ואת השש
καὶ αὐτοὶ λήμψονται τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὴν ὑάκινθον καὶ τὴν πορφύραν καὶ τὸ κόκκινον καὶ τὴν βύσσον. –
And they shall take the gold, the violet purpleⓘ, the red purpleⓘ, the scarlet of wormⓘ and the fine linenⓘ.

ועשו את האפד זהב תכלת וארגמן תולעת שני ושש משזר מעשה חשב
καὶ ποιήσουσιν τὴν ἐπωμίδα ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης, ἔργον ὑφαντὸν ποικιλτοῦ·
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And they shall make the efòdⓘ of twisted fine linenⓘ, the work of an embroiderer.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And they shall make the efòd of gold, of violet purple, of red purple, of scarletⓘ and of twisted fine linen, the work of a skilled artisan.

שתי כתפת חברת יהיה לו אל שני קצותיו וחבר
δύο ἐπωμίδες συνέχουσαι ἔσονται αὐτῷ ἑτέρα τὴν ἑτέραν, ἐπὶ τοῖς δυσὶ μέρεσιν ἐξηρτημέναι·
Two shoulder-pieces joined shall it have, at its two ends, and it shall be joined together.

וחשב אפדתו אשר עליו כמעשהו ממנו יהיה זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר
καὶ τὸ ὕφασμα τῶν ἐπωμίδων, ὅ ἐστιν ἐπ’ αὐτῷ, κατὰ τὴν ποίησιν ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔσται ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου διανενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης.
And the artistic band of the efòdⓘ which is upon it, shall be of the same workmanship, of one piece with it: gold, violet purple, red purple, scarlet and twisted fine linen.

ולקחת את שתי אבני שהם ופתחת עליהם שמות בני ישראל
καὶ λήμψῃ τοὺς δύο λίθους, λίθους σμαράγδου, καὶ γλύψεις ἐν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ,
And you shall take the two stones of onyxⓘ and engrave upon them the names of the children of Israèl:

ששה משמתם על האבן האחת ואת שמות הששה הנותרים על האבן השנית כתולדתם
ἓξ ὀνόματα ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα καὶ τὰ ἓξ ὀνόματα τὰ λοιπὰ ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν δεύτερον κατὰ τὰς γενέσεις αὐτῶν.
six of their names on one stone and the six remaining names on the second stone, according to the order of their generationsⓘ.

מעשה חרש אבן פתוחי חתם תפתח את שתי האבנים על שמת בני ישראל מסבת משבצות זהב תעשה אתם
ἔργον λιθουργικῆς τέχνης, γλύμμα σφραγῖδος, διαγλύψεις τοὺς δύο λίθους ἐπὶ τοῖς ὀνόμασιν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ.
The work of a stone-engraverⓘ, the engraving of a seal, you shall engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israèl; you shall make them set in settings of goldⓘ.

ושמת את שתי האבנים על כתפת האפד אבני זכרן לבני ישראל ונשא אהרן את שמותם לפני יהוה על שתי כתפיו לזכרן
καὶ θήσεις τοὺς δύο λίθους ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων τῆς ἐπωμίδος· λίθοι μνημοσύνου εἰσὶν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ· καὶ ἀναλήμψεται Ααρων τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἔναντι κυρίου ἐπὶ τῶν δύο ὤμων αὐτοῦ, μνημόσυνον περὶ αὐτῶν.
And you shall set the two stones upon the shoulder-pieces of the efòd: stones of memorialⓘ for the children of Israèl; and Aharòn shall bear their names before the Tetragrammatonⓘ, upon his two shoulders, as a memorial.

ועשית משבצת זהב
καὶ ποιήσεις ἀσπιδίσκας ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ·
And you shall make settings of goldⓘ.
14
ושתי שרשרת זהב טהור מגבלת תעשה אתם מעשה עבת ונתתה את שרשרת העבתת על המשבצת
καὶ ποιήσεις δύο κροσσωτὰ ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ, καταμεμιγμένα ἐν ἄνθεσιν, ἔργον πλοκῆς· καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὰ κροσσωτὰ τὰ πεπλεγμένα ἐπὶ τὰς ἀσπιδίσκας κατὰ τὰς παρωμίδας αὐτῶν ἐκ τῶν ἐμπροσθίων. –
And two chains of pure gold, which you shall braid in the manner of a braidⓘ, braided work, and you shall fasten the braided chains upon the settings.

ועשית חשן משפט מעשה חשב כמעשה אפד תעשנו זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר תעשה אתו
καὶ ποιήσεις λογεῖον τῶν κρίσεων, ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ· κατὰ τὸν ῥυθμὸν τῆς ἐπωμίδος ποιήσεις αὐτό· ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ποιήσεις αὐτό.
And you shall make the breastpiece of judgmentⓘ, the work of a skilled artisan; like the workmanship of the efòd you shall make it: gold, violet purple, red purple, scarlet and twisted fine linen you shall make it.

רבוע יהיה כפול זרת ארכו וזרת רחבו
τετράγωνον ἔσται, διπλοῦν, σπιθαμῆς τὸ μῆκος καὶ σπιθαμῆς τὸ εὖρος.
Square shall it be, doubled, a spanⓘ its length and a span its width.
17
ומלאת בו מלאת אבן ארבעה טורים אבן טור אדם פטדה וברקת הטור האחד
καὶ καθυφανεῖς ἐν αὐτῷ ὕφασμα κατάλιθον τετράστιχον. στίχος λίθων ἔσται σάρδιον, τοπάζιον καὶ σμάραγδος, ὁ στίχος ὁ εἷς·
And you shall fill it with settings of stones, four rows of stone: a row of carnelianⓘ, topazⓘ and emeraldⓘ, the first row;

והטור השני נפך ספיר ויהלם
καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ δεύτερος ἄνθραξ καὶ σάπφειρος καὶ ἴασπις·
and the second row: carbuncleⓘ, sapphireⓘ and jasperⓘ;

והטור השלישי לשם שבו ואחלמה
καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ τρίτος λιγύριον, ἀχάτης καὶ ἀμέθυστος·
and the third row: jacinthⓘ, agateⓘ and amethystⓘ;
20
והטור הרביעי תרשיש ושהם וישפה משבצים זהב יהיו במלואתם
καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ τέταρτος χρυσόλιθος καὶ βηρύλλιον καὶ ὀνύχιον· περικεκαλυμμένα χρυσίῳ, συνδεδεμένα ἐν χρυσίῳ ἔστωσαν κατὰ στίχον αὐτῶν.
and the fourth row: chrysoliteⓘ, berylⓘ and jasperⓘ; they shall be set in gold in their settings.

והאבנים תהיין על שמת בני ישראל שתים עשרה על שמתם פתוחי חותם איש על שמו תהיין לשני עשר שבט
καὶ οἱ λίθοι ἔστωσαν ἐκ τῶν ὀνομάτων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ δέκα δύο κατὰ τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν· γλυφαὶ σφραγίδων, ἕκαστος κατὰ τὸ ὄνομα, ἔστωσαν εἰς δέκα δύο φυλάς.
And the stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israèl, twelve according to their names, engravings of a seal, each with its own proper name, for the twelve tribesⓘ.

ועשית על החשן שרשת גבלת מעשה עבת זהב טהור
καὶ ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λογεῖον κροσσοὺς συμπεπλεγμένους, ἔργον ἁλυσιδωτὸν ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ.
And you shall make upon the breastpiece chains at the endsⓘ, braided work in the manner of a braid, of pure gold.
