ויען משה ויאמר והן לא יאמינו לי ולא ישמעו בקלי כי יאמרו לא נראה אליך יהוה
ἀπεκρίθη δὲ Μωϋσῆς καὶ εἶπεν Ἐὰν οὖν μὴ πιστεύσωσίν μοι μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τῆς φωνῆς μου, ἐροῦσιν γὰρ ὅτι Οὐκ ὦπταί σοι ὁ θεός, τί ἐρῶ πρὸς αὐτούς;
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And ⓘ answered and said: «If then they will not believe me nor listen to my ⓘ, for they will say: «ⓘ has not appeared to you»; ⓘ»—— Masoretic (MT) ——And ⓘ answered and said: But if they will not believe me and will not listen to my ⓘ, and they say: «The ⓘ has not appeared to you»? ⓘ

ויאמר אליו יהוה מזה מה זה בידך ויאמר מטה
εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ κύριος Τί τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου; ὁ δὲ εἶπεν Ῥάβδος.
And the ⓘ said to him: What is this in your hand? And he said: A ⓘ.

ויאמר השליכהו ארצה וישליכהו ארצה ויהי לנחש וינס משה מפניו
καὶ εἶπεν Ῥῖψον αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν. καὶ ἔρριψεν αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν, καὶ ἐγένετο ὄφις· καὶ ἔφυγεν Μωϋσῆς ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ.
And he said: Cast it to the ground. He cast it to the ground, and it became a ⓘ; and Moshè fled before it.

ויאמר יהוה אל משה שלח ידך ואחז בזנבו וישלח ידו ויחזק בו ויהי למטה בכפו
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρα καὶ ἐπιλαβοῦ τῆς κέρκου· ἐκτείνας οὖν τὴν χεῖρα ἐπελάβετο τῆς κέρκου, καὶ ἐγένετο ῥάβδος ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ·
And the ⓘ said to Moshè: Stretch out your hand and take it by the ⓘ. He stretched out his hand, seized it, and it became a staff in his hand,

למען יאמינו כי נראה אליך יהוה אלהי אבתם אלהי אברהם אלהי יצחק ואלהי יעקב
ἵνα πιστεύσωσίν σοι ὅτι ὦπταί σοι κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν, θεὸς Αβρααμ καὶ θεὸς Ισαακ καὶ θεὸς Ιακωβ.
that they may believe that the ⓘ has appeared to you, the God of their fathers, the ⓘ of Avràm, the God of Yitzchàk and the God of Yaʿaqòv.

ויאמר יהוה לו עוד הבא נא ידך בחיקך ויבא ידו בחיקו ויוצאה והנה ידו מצרעת כשלג
εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ κύριος πάλιν Εἰσένεγκε τὴν χεῖρά σου εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου. καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν κόλπον αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐκ τοῦ κόλπου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐγενήθη ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ χιών.
And the ⓘ said to him again: Put, I pray you, your hand into your ⓘ. He put his hand into his bosom, then drew it out: and behold, his hand was ⓘ like snow.

ויאמר השב ידך אל חיקך וישב ידו אל חיקו ויוצאה מחיקו והנה שבה כבשרו
καὶ εἶπεν Πάλιν εἰσένεγκε τὴν χεῖρά σου εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου. καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν τὴν χεῖρα εἰς τὸν κόλπον αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν αὐτὴν ἐκ τοῦ κόλπου αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάλιν ἀπεκατέστη εἰς τὴν χρόαν τῆς σαρκὸς αὐτοῦ.
And he said: Put your hand back into your bosom. He put his hand back into his bosom, then drew it out from his bosom: and behold, it had ⓘ like his flesh.

והיה אם לא יאמינו לך ולא ישמעו לקל האת הראשון והאמינו לקל האת האחרון
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ πιστεύσωσίν σοι μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ σημείου τοῦ πρώτου, πιστεύσουσίν σοι τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ σημείου τοῦ ἐσχάτου.
And it shall come to pass: if they will not believe you and will not listen to the voice of the first ⓘ, they will believe the voice of the ⓘ.

והיה אם לא יאמינו גם לשני האתות האלה ולא ישמעון לקלך ולקחת ממימי היאר ושפכת היבשה והיו המים אשר תקח מן היאר והיו לדם ביבשת
καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν μὴ πιστεύσωσίν σοι τοῖς δυσὶ σημείοις τούτοις μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τῆς φωνῆς σου, λήμψῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ ποταμοῦ καὶ ἐκχεεῖς ἐπὶ τὸ ξηρόν, καὶ ἔσται τὸ ὕδωρ, ὃ ἐὰν λάβῃς ἀπὸ τοῦ ποταμοῦ, αἷμα ἐπὶ τοῦ ξηροῦ. –
And it shall come to pass: if they will not believe even these two signs and will not listen to your voice, you shall take some of the water of the ⓘ and pour it on the dry ground: and the water that you have taken from the Nile shall become ⓘ on the dry ground.

ויאמר משה אל יהוה בי אדני לא איש דברים אנכי גם מתמול גם משלשם גם מאז דברך אל עבדך כי כבד פה וכבד לשון אנכי
εἶπεν δὲ Μωϋσῆς πρὸς κύριον Δέομαι, κύριε, οὐχ ἱκανός εἰμι πρὸ τῆς ἐχθὲς οὐδὲ πρὸ τῆς τρίτης ἡμέρας οὐδὲ ἀφ’ οὗ ἤρξω λαλεῖν τῷ θεράποντί σου· ἰσχνόφωνος καὶ βραδύγλωσσος ἐγώ εἰμι.
And Moshè said to the ⓘ: I pray you, ⓘ, ⓘ, neither yesterday nor before yesterday nor since you have spoken to your servant: for I am ⓘ.

ויאמר יהוה אליו מי שם פה לאדם או מי ישום אלם או חרש או פקח או עור הלא אנכי יהוה
εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Τίς ἔδωκεν στόμα ἀνθρώπῳ, καὶ τίς ἐποίησεν δύσκωφον καὶ κωφόν, βλέποντα καὶ τυφλόν; οὐκ ἐγὼ ὁ θεός;
And the ⓘ said to him: Who has set the mouth in man? Or who makes the mute or the deaf, the seeing or the blind? Is it not I, the ⓘ?

ועתה לך ואנכי אהיה עם פיך והוריתיך אשר תדבר
καὶ νῦν πορεύου, καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνοίξω τὸ στόμα σου καὶ συμβιβάσω σε ὃ μέλλεις λαλῆσαι.
And now go, and I will be with your mouth and ⓘ what you are to say.

ויאמר בי אדני שלח נא ביד תשלח
καὶ εἶπεν Μωϋσῆς Δέομαι, κύριε, προχείρισαι δυνάμενον ἄλλον, ὃν ἀποστελεῖς.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And Moshè said: «I pray you, ⓘ, ⓘ».—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he said: I pray you, Lord, ⓘ.

ויחר אף יהוה במשה ויאמר הלא אהרן אחיך הלוי ידעתי כי דבר ידבר הוא וגם הנה הוא יצא לקראתך וראך ושמח בלבו
καὶ θυμωθεὶς ὀργῇ κύριος ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν εἶπεν Οὐκ ἰδοὺ Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου ὁ Λευίτης; ἐπίσταμαι ὅτι λαλῶν λαλήσει αὐτός σοι· καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐξελεύσεται εἰς συνάντησίν σοι καὶ ἰδών σε χαρήσεται ἐν ἑαυτῷ.
And the ⓘ of the ⓘ was kindled against Moshè, and he said: Is not Aharòn your brother, ⓘ? I know that he can speak well; and behold, he himself comes out to meet you, and seeing you he will rejoice in his heart.

ודברת אליו ושמת את הדברים בפיו ואנכי אהיה עם פיך ועם פיהו והוריתי אתכם את אשר תעשון
καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ δώσεις τὰ ῥήματά μου εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνοίξω τὸ στόμα σου καὶ τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ καὶ συμβιβάσω ὑμᾶς ἃ ποιήσετε.
You shall speak to him and put the ⓘ in his mouth; and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you are to do.

ודבר הוא לך אל העם והיה הוא יהיה לך לפה ואתה תהיה לו לאלהים
καὶ αὐτός σοι προσλαλήσει πρὸς τὸν λαόν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἔσται σου στόμα, σὺ δὲ αὐτῷ ἔσῃ τὰ πρὸς τὸν θεόν.
And he shall speak to the people for you: ⓘ.
17
ואת המטה הזה תקח בידך אשר תעשה בו את האתת
καὶ τὴν ῥάβδον ταύτην τὴν στραφεῖσαν εἰς ὄφιν λήμψῃ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου, ἐν ᾗ ποιήσεις ἐν αὐτῇ τὰ σημεῖα.
And this ⓘ you shall take in your hand, with which you shall do the ⓘ.

וילך משה וישב אל יתר חתנו ויאמר לו אלכה נא ואשובה אל אחי אשר במצרים ואראה העודם חיים ויאמר יתרו למשה לך לשלום
Ἐπορεύθη δὲ Μωϋσῆς καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν πρὸς Ιοθορ τὸν γαμβρὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ λέγει Πορεύσομαι καὶ ἀποστρέψω πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφούς μου τοὺς ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ ὄψομαι εἰ ἔτι ζῶσιν. καὶ εἶπεν Ιοθορ Μωυσῇ Βάδιζε ὑγιαίνων.
And Moshè departed and returned to ⓘ his father-in-law, and said to him: Let me go, I pray you, that I may return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive. And Yitrò said to Moshè: Go in peace.

ויאמר יהוה אל משה במדין לך שב מצרים כי מתו כל האנשים המבקשים את נפשך
μετὰ δὲ τὰς ἡμέρας τὰς πολλὰς ἐκείνας ἐτελεύτησεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου. εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐν Μαδιαμ Βάδιζε ἄπελθε εἰς Αἴγυπτον· τεθνήκασιν γὰρ πάντες οἱ ζητοῦντές σου τὴν ψυχήν.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——ⓘ And the ⓘ said to Moshè in ⓘ: «Go, depart to Egypt, for all those who sought your ⓘ are dead».—— Masoretic (MT) ——And the ⓘ said to Moshè in ⓘ: ⓘ, for all the men who sought your ⓘ are dead.

ויקח משה את אשתו ואת בניו וירכבם על החמר וישב ארצה מצרים ויקח משה את מטה האלהים בידו
ἀναλαβὼν δὲ Μωϋσῆς τὴν γυναῖκα καὶ τὰ παιδία ἀνεβίβασεν αὐτὰ ἐπὶ τὰ ὑποζύγια καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν εἰς Αἴγυπτον· ἔλαβεν δὲ Μωϋσῆς τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ.
And Moshè took his wife and his sons, set them ⓘ and returned toward the land of Egypt; and Moshè took in his hand the ⓘ.

ויאמר יהוה אל משה בלכתך לשוב מצרימה ראה כל המפתים אשר שמתי בידך ועשיתם לפני פרעה ואני אחזק את לבו ולא ישלח את העם
εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Πορευομένου σου καὶ ἀποστρέφοντος εἰς Αἴγυπτον ὅρα πάντα τὰ τέρατα, ἃ ἔδωκα ἐν ταῖς χερσίν σου, ποιήσεις αὐτὰ ἐναντίον Φαραω· ἐγὼ δὲ σκληρυνῶ τὴν καρδίαν αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξαποστείλῃ τὸν λαόν.
And the ⓘ said to Moshè: As you return to Egypt, see all the ⓘ that I have put in your hand, and do them before ⓘ; ⓘ, and he will not let the people go.
22
ואמרת אל פרעה כה אמר יהוה בני בכרי ישראל
σὺ δὲ ἐρεῖς τῷ Φαραω Τάδε λέγει κύριος Υἱὸς πρωτότοκός μου Ισραηλ·
And you shall say to Pharaoh: Thus says the ⓘ: ⓘ.
23
ואמר אליך שלח את בני ויעבדני ותמאן לשלחו הנה אנכי הרג את בנך בכרך
εἶπα δέ σοι Ἐξαπόστειλον τὸν λαόν μου, ἵνα μοι λατρεύσῃ· εἰ μὲν οὖν μὴ βούλει ἐξαποστεῖλαι αὐτούς, ὅρα οὖν ἐγὼ ἀποκτενῶ τὸν υἱόν σου τὸν πρωτότοκον.
And I say to you: Let my son go that he may ⓘ me; but if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will kill your son, your ⓘ.

ויהי בדרך במלון ויפגשהו יהוה ויבקש המיתו
Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ ἐν τῷ καταλύματι συνήντησεν αὐτῷ ἄγγελος κυρίου καὶ ἐζήτει αὐτὸν ἀποκτεῖναι.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And it came to pass, on the way, at the ⓘ, that ⓘ met him and ⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And it came to pass, on the journey, at the ⓘ, that the ⓘ met him and sought to put him to death.

ותקח צפרה צר ותכרת את ערלת בנה ותגע לרגליו ותאמר כי חתן דמים אתה לי
καὶ λαβοῦσα Σεπφωρα ψῆφον περιέτεμεν τὴν ἀκροβυστίαν τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτῆς καὶ προσέπεσεν πρὸς τοὺς πόδας καὶ εἶπεν Ἔστη τὸ αἷμα τῆς περιτομῆς τοῦ παιδίου μου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And ⓘ, having taken a ⓘ, cut off the ⓘ of her son and ⓘ, and said: «ⓘ».—— Masoretic (MT) ——Then ⓘ took a ⓘ, cut off the ⓘ of her son and with it ⓘ, and said: ⓘ.

וירף ממנו אז אמרה חתן דמים למולת
καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ, διότι εἶπεν Ἔστη τὸ αἷμα τῆς περιτομῆς τοῦ παιδίου μου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And he withdrew from him, ⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——And he let him be; then she said «ⓘ» on account of the ⓘ.

ויאמר יהוה אל אהרן לך לקראת משה המדברה וילך ויפגשהו בהר האלהים וישק לו
Εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Ααρων Πορεύθητι εἰς συνάντησιν Μωυσεῖ εἰς τὴν ἔρημον· καὶ ἐπορεύθη καὶ συνήντησεν αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ ὄρει τοῦ θεοῦ, καὶ κατεφίλησαν ἀλλήλους.
And the ⓘ said to Aharòn: Go to meet Moshè in the ⓘ. And he went, met him at the ⓘ and kissed him.

ויגד משה לאהרן את כל דברי יהוה אשר שלחו ואת כל האתת אשר צוהו
καὶ ἀνήγγειλεν Μωϋσῆς τῷ Ααρων πάντας τοὺς λόγους κυρίου, οὓς ἀπέστειλεν, καὶ πάντα τὰ σημεῖα, ἃ ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ.
And Moshè reported to Aharòn all the ⓘ of the ⓘ who had sent him, and all the signs that he had commanded him.
29
וילך משה ואהרן ויאספו את כל זקני בני ישראל
ἐπορεύθη δὲ Μωϋσῆς καὶ Ααρων καὶ συνήγαγον τὴν γερουσίαν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ.
And Moshè and Aharòn went and gathered all the ⓘ of the children of Israel;
30
וידבר אהרן את כל הדברים אשר דבר יהוה אל משה ויעש האתת לעיני העם
καὶ ἐλάλησεν Ααρων πάντα τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα, ἃ ἐλάλησεν ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν, καὶ ἐποίησεν τὰ σημεῖα ἐναντίον τοῦ λαοῦ.
and Aharòn reported all the words that the ⓘ had said to Moshè, and did the signs before the eyes of the people.
31
ויאמן העם וישמעו כי פקד יהוה את בני ישראל וכי ראה את ענים ויקדו וישתחוו
καὶ ἐπίστευσεν ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἐχάρη, ὅτι ἐπεσκέψατο ὁ θεὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ, καὶ ὅτι εἶδεν αὐτῶν τὴν θλῖψιν· κύψας δὲ ὁ λαὸς προσεκύνησεν.
And the people ⓘ; and they heard that the ⓘ had ⓘ the children of Israel and that he had seen their ⓘ, and they bowed down and ⓘ.
