ויהי בחצי הלילה ויהוה הכה כל בכור בארץ מצרים מבכר פרעה הישב על כסאו עד בכור השבי אשר בבית הבור וכל בכור בהמה
Ἐγενήθη δὲ μεσούσης τῆς νυκτὸς καὶ κύριος ἐπάταξεν πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ ἀπὸ πρωτοτόκου Φαραω τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου ἕως πρωτοτόκου τῆς αἰχμαλωτίδος τῆς ἐν τῷ λάκκῳ καὶ ἕως πρωτοτόκου παντὸς κτήνους.
And it came to pass at the middle of the nightⓘ that the Tetragrammaton struckⓘ every firstbornⓘ in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh seated on his throneⓘ to the firstborn of the captiveⓘ who was in the pitⓘ, and every firstborn of the cattle.

ויקם פרעה לילה הוא וכל עבדיו וכל מצרים ותהי צעקה גדלה במצרים כי אין בית אשר אין שם מת
καὶ ἀναστὰς Φαραω νυκτὸς καὶ πάντες οἱ θεράποντες αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι καὶ ἐγενήθη κραυγὴ μεγάλη ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ· οὐ γὰρ ἦν οἰκία, ἐν ᾗ οὐκ ἦν ἐν αὐτῇ τεθνηκώς.
Pharaoh rose by night, he and all his servants and all Egypt, and there was a great cryⓘ in Egypt, for there was no house in which there was not one deadⓘ.

ויקרא למשה ולאהרן לילה ויאמר קומו צאו מתוך עמי גם אתם גם בני ישראל ולכו עבדו את יהוה כדברכם
καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Φαραω Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων νυκτὸς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Ἀνάστητε καὶ ἐξέλθατε ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ μου καὶ ὑμεῖς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ· βαδίζετε καὶ λατρεύσατε κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ ὑμῶν, καθὰ λέγετε·
He called Moses and Aaron by night and said: Rise, go outⓘ from the midst of my people, both you and the children of Israel; go, serveⓘ the Tetragrammatonⓘ as you have said.

גם צאנכם גם בקרכם קחו כאשר דברתם ולכו וברכתם גם אתי
καὶ τὰ πρόβατα καὶ τοὺς βόας ὑμῶν ἀναλαβόντες πορεύεσθε, εὐλογήσατε δὲ κἀμέ.
Take also your flocks and your herds as you have said, and go; and bless me tooⓘ.
33
ותחזק מצרים על העם למהר לשלחם מן הארץ כי אמרו כלנו מתים
καὶ κατεβιάζοντο οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι τὸν λαὸν σπουδῇ ἐκβαλεῖν αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῆς γῆς· εἶπαν γὰρ ὅτι Πάντες ἡμεῖς ἀποθνῄσκομεν.
Egypt pressed hardⓘ upon the people to hasten their departure from the land, for they said: We are all deadⓘ.
34
וישא העם את בצקו טרם יחמץ משארתם צררת בשמלתם על שכמם
ἀνέλαβεν δὲ ὁ λαὸς τὸ σταῖς πρὸ τοῦ ζυμωθῆναι, τὰ φυράματα αὐτῶν ἐνδεδεμένα ἐν τοῖς ἱματίοις αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων.
The people carried off their doughⓘ before it leavenedⓘ, with their kneading-troughsⓘ bound up in their cloaks upon their shoulders.

ובני ישראל עשו כדבר משה וישאלו ממצרים כלי כסף וכלי זהב ושמלת
οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐποίησαν καθὰ συνέταξεν αὐτοῖς Μωϋσῆς, καὶ ᾔτησαν παρὰ τῶν Αἰγυπτίων σκεύη ἀργυρᾶ καὶ χρυσᾶ καὶ ἱματισμόν·
The children of Israel did according to the word of Moses and askedⓘ of the Egyptians objects of silver, objects of gold, and garmentsⓘ.

ויהוה נתן את חן העם בעיני מצרים וישאלום וינצלו את מצרים
καὶ κύριος ἔδωκεν τὴν χάριν τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ ἐναντίον τῶν Αἰγυπτίων, καὶ ἔχρησαν αὐτοῖς· καὶ ἐσκύλευσαν τοὺς Αἰγυπτίους.
And the Tetragrammatonⓘ had given the favorⓘ of the people in the eyes of Egypt, so that they lent to them; and thus they despoiledⓘ Egypt.
37
ויסעו בני ישראל מרעמסס סכתה כשש מאות אלף רגלי הגברים לבד מטף
Ἀπάραντες δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐκ Ραμεσση εἰς Σοκχωθα εἰς ἑξακοσίας χιλιάδας πεζῶν οἱ ἄνδρες πλὴν τῆς ἀποσκευῆς,
The children of Israel set out from Rameses toward Succothⓘ, about six hundred thousand on footⓘ, the men, besides the little onesⓘ.

וגם ערב רב עלה אתם וצאן ובקר מקנה כבד מאד
καὶ ἐπίμικτος πολὺς συνανέβη αὐτοῖς καὶ πρόβατα καὶ βόες καὶ κτήνη πολλὰ σφόδρα.
Also a mixed multitudeⓘ went up with them, and flocks and herds, very numerous cattle.
39
ויאפו את הבצק אשר הוציאו ממצרים עגת מצות כי לא חמץ כי גרשו ממצרים ולא יכלו להתמהמה וגם צדה לא עשו להם
καὶ ἔπεψαν τὸ σταῖς, ὃ ἐξήνεγκαν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, ἐγκρυφίας ἀζύμους· οὐ γὰρ ἐζυμώθη· ἐξέβαλον γὰρ αὐτοὺς οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ἐπιμεῖναι οὐδὲ ἐπισιτισμὸν ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς εἰς τὴν ὁδόν.
They baked the dough that they had brought out of Egypt into unleavened cakesⓘ, for it had not leavenedⓘ: they had been driven outⓘ from Egypt and could not lingerⓘ, nor had they prepared provisions for themselves.

ומושב בני ישראל אשר ישבו במצרים שלשים שנה וארבע מאות שנה
ἡ δὲ κατοίκησις τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ, ἣν κατῴκησαν ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ ἐν γῇ Χανααν, ἔτη τετρακόσια τριάκοντα,
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Now the dwellingⓘ of the children of Israel, who dwelt in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaanⓘ, was four hundred and thirty yearsⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——The sojournⓘ of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egyptⓘ, was four hundred and thirty yearsⓘ.

ויהי מקץ שלשים שנה וארבע מאות שנה ויהי בעצם היום הזה יצאו כל צבאות יהוה מארץ מצרים
καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὰ τετρακόσια τριάκοντα ἔτη ἐξῆλθεν πᾶσα ἡ δύναμις κυρίου ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου.
And it came to pass, at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, on that very dayⓘ, that all the hostsⓘ of the Tetragrammatonⓘ went out from the land of Egypt.
42
ליל שמרים הוא ליהוה להוציאם מארץ מצרים הוא הלילה הזה ליהוה שמרים לכל בני ישראל לדרתם
νυκτὸς προφυλακή ἐστιν τῷ κυρίῳ ὥστε ἐξαγαγεῖν αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου· ἐκείνη ἡ νὺξ αὕτη προφυλακὴ κυρίῳ ὥστε πᾶσι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ εἶναι εἰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν.
A night of vigilⓘ it is for the Tetragrammatonⓘ, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; this is that night for the Tetragrammatonⓘ, a vigil for all the children of Israel throughout their generationsⓘ.
43
ויאמר יהוה אל משה ואהרן זאת חקת הפסח כל בן נכר לא יאכל בו
Εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων Οὗτος ὁ νόμος τοῦ πασχα· πᾶς ἀλλογενὴς οὐκ ἔδεται ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ·
And the Tetragrammatonⓘ said to Moses and Aaron: This is the statute of the Passoverⓘ: no son of a foreignerⓘ shall eat of it.
44
וכל עבד איש מקנת כסף ומלתה אתו אז יאכל בו
καὶ πᾶν οἰκέτην τινὸς ἢ ἀργυρώνητον περιτεμεῖς αὐτόν, καὶ τότε φάγεται ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ·
But every servant bought with money, after you have circumcisedⓘ him, then he shall eat of it.
45
תושב ושכיר לא יאכל בו
πάροικος ἢ μισθωτὸς οὐκ ἔδεται ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ.
The resident sojournerⓘ and the hired laborerⓘ shall not eat of it.
46
בבית אחד יאכל לא תוציא מן הבית מן הבשר חוצה ועצם לא תשברו בו
ἐν οἰκίᾳ μιᾷ βρωθήσεται, καὶ οὐκ ἐξοίσετε ἐκ τῆς οἰκίας τῶν κρεῶν ἔξω· καὶ ὀστοῦν οὐ συντρίψετε ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ.
In one single house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry outⓘ any of the flesh outside the house; and a bone you shall not breakⓘ in it.
47
כל עדת ישראל יעשו אתו
πᾶσα συναγωγὴ υἱῶν Ισραηλ ποιήσει αὐτό.
The whole congregation of Israelⓘ shall keep it.
48
וכי יגור אתך גר ועשה פסח ליהוה המול לו כל זכר ואז יקרב לעשתו והיה כאזרח הארץ וכל ערל לא יאכל בו
ἐὰν δέ τις προσέλθῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς προσήλυτος ποιῆσαι τὸ πασχα κυρίῳ, περιτεμεῖς αὐτοῦ πᾶν ἀρσενικόν, καὶ τότε προσελεύσεται ποιῆσαι αὐτὸ καὶ ἔσται ὥσπερ καὶ ὁ αὐτόχθων τῆς γῆς· πᾶς ἀπερίτμητος οὐκ ἔδεται ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ.
And if a resident alienⓘ sojourns with you and wishes to keep the Passover for the Tetragrammatonⓘ, let all his males be circumcised; then he may draw near to keep it and shall be as the native of the landⓘ; but no uncircumcised oneⓘ shall eat of it.
49
תורה אחת יהיה לאזרח ולגר הגר בתוככם
νόμος εἷς ἔσται τῷ ἐγχωρίῳ καὶ τῷ προσελθόντι προσηλύτῳ ἐν ὑμῖν.
One single lawⓘ shall be for the nativeⓘ and for the resident alienⓘ who sojourns in your midst.
50
ויעשו כל בני ישראל כאשר צוה יהוה את משה ואת אהרן כן עשו
καὶ ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καθὰ ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ καὶ Ααρων πρὸς αὐτούς, οὕτως ἐποίησαν. –
And all the children of Israel did as the Tetragrammaton had commandedⓘ Moses and Aaron; thus they did.
51
ויהי בעצם היום הזה הוציא יהוה את בני ישראל מארץ מצרים על צבאתם
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐξήγαγεν κύριος τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου σὺν δυνάμει αὐτῶν.
And it came to pass on that very dayⓘ that the Tetragrammatonⓘ brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, according to their hostsⓘ.
