Exodus 27 — The Altar of the Courtyard and the Enclosure of the Sanctuary

ועשית את המזבח עצי שטים חמש אמות ארך וחמש אמות רחב רבוע יהיה המזבח ושלש אמות קמתו
Καὶ ποιήσεις θυσιαστήριον ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων, πέντε πήχεων τὸ μῆκος καὶ πέντε πήχεων τὸ εὖρος – τετράγωνον ἔσται τὸ θυσιαστήριον – καὶ τριῶν πήχεων τὸ ὕψος αὐτοῦ.
And you shall make the altarⓘ of acacia woodⓘ: five cubits in length and five cubits in width — the altar shall be squareⓘ — and three cubits its height.

ועשית קרנתיו על ארבע פנתיו ממנו תהיין קרנתיו וצפית אתו נחשת
καὶ ποιήσεις τὰ κέρατα ἐπὶ τῶν τεσσάρων γωνιῶν· ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔσται τὰ κέρατα· καὶ καλύψεις αὐτὰ χαλκῷ.
You shall make its hornsⓘ on the four corners; of one piece with itⓘ shall the horns be; and you shall overlay it with bronzeⓘ.

ועשית סירתיו לדשנו ויעיו ומזרקתיו ומזלגתיו ומחתתיו לכל כליו תעשה נחשת
καὶ ποιήσεις στεφάνην τῷ θυσιαστηρίῳ καὶ τὸν καλυπτῆρα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς φιάλας αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς κρεάγρας αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ· καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ποιήσεις χαλκᾶ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——You shall make a rimⓘ for the altar, and its coverⓘ, and its bowls, and its flesh-hooksⓘ, and its brazierⓘ; and all its utensils you shall make of bronze.—— Masoretic (MT) ——You shall make its ash potsⓘ, the shovels, the basinsⓘ, the forks, and the fire-pansⓘ; all its utensils you shall make of bronze.

ועשית לו מכבר מעשה רשת נחשת ועשית על הרשת ארבע טבעת נחשת על ארבע קצותיו
καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῷ ἐσχάραν ἔργῳ δικτυωτῷ χαλκῆν· καὶ ποιήσεις τῇ ἐσχάρᾳ τέσσαρας δακτυλίους χαλκοῦς ἐπὶ τὰ τέσσαρα κλίτη.
You shall make for it a latticework gratingⓘ of bronze; and on the network you shall make four bronze rings at its four endsⓘ.

ונתתה אתה תחת כרכב המזבח מלמטה והיתה הרשת עד חצי המזבח
καὶ ὑποθήσεις αὐτοὺς ὑπὸ τὴν ἐσχάραν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου κάτωθεν· ἔσται δὲ ἡ ἐσχάρα ἕως τοῦ ἡμίσους τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And you shall set them beneath the grating of the altarⓘ, from below; and the grating shall reach up to the middle of the altar.—— Masoretic (MT) ——You shall set it beneath the ledge of the altarⓘ, from below; and the network shall reach up to the middle of the altar.

ועשית בדים למזבח בדי עצי שטים וצפית אתם נחשת
καὶ ποιήσεις τῷ θυσιαστηρίῳ φορεῖς ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ περιχαλκώσεις αὐτοὺς χαλκῷ.
You shall make polesⓘ for the altar, of acacia wood, and you shall overlay them with bronze.

והובא את בדיו בטבעת והיו הבדים על שתי צלעת המזבח בשאת אתו
καὶ εἰσάξεις τοὺς φορεῖς εἰς τοὺς δακτυλίους, καὶ ἔστωσαν οἱ φορεῖς κατὰ τὰ πλευρὰ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ἐν τῷ αἴρειν αὐτό.
The poles shall be inserted into the rings, and they shall be on the two sidesⓘ of the altar when it is carried.

נבוב לחת תעשה אתו כאשר הראה אתך בהר כן יעשו
κοῖλον σανιδωτὸν ποιήσεις αὐτό· κατὰ τὸ παραδειχθέν σοι ἐν τῷ ὄρει, οὕτως ποιήσεις αὐτό.
Hollow, of planksⓘ you shall make it: as it was shown to you on the mountainⓘ, so they shall make it.

ועשית את חצר המשכן לפאת נגב תימנה קלעים לחצר שש משזר מאה באמה ארך לפאה האחת
Καὶ ποιήσεις αὐλὴν τῇ σκηνῇ· εἰς τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς λίβα ἱστία τῆς αὐλῆς ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης, μῆκος ἑκατὸν πηχῶν τῷ ἑνὶ κλίτει·
And you shall make the courtyardⓘ of the sanctuaryⓘ: on the south side, toward the Negev, hangingsⓘ for the courtyard of twisted linenⓘ, a hundred cubits in length for the first side.

ועמדיו עשרים ואדניהם עשרים נחשת ווי העמדים וחשקיהם כסף
καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι χαλκαῖ, καὶ οἱ κρίκοι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ ψαλίδες αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ.
Its columns twenty and their basesⓘ twenty of bronze; the hooksⓘ of the columns and their bands of silver.

וכן לפאת צפון בארך קלעים מאה ארך ועמדו ועמודיו עשרים ואדניהם עשרים נחשת ווי העמדים וחשקיהם כסף
οὕτως τῷ κλίτει τῷ πρὸς ἀπηλιώτην ἱστία, ἑκατὸν πηχῶν μῆκος· καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι χαλκαῖ, καὶ οἱ κρίκοι καὶ αἱ ψαλίδες τῶν στύλων καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργύρῳ.

ורחב החצר לפאת ים קלעים חמשים אמה עמדיהם עשרה ואדניהם עשרה
τὸ δὲ εὖρος τῆς αὐλῆς τὸ κατὰ θάλασσαν ἱστία πεντήκοντα πηχῶν· στῦλοι αὐτῶν δέκα, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν δέκα.
The width of the courtyard on the west sideⓘ: hangings of fifty cubits; their columns ten and their bases ten.

ורחב החצר לפאת קדמה מזרחה חמשים אמה
καὶ εὖρος τῆς αὐλῆς τὸ πρὸς νότον ἱστία πεντήκοντα πήχεων· στῦλοι αὐτῶν δέκα, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν δέκα.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And the width of the courtyard on the side toward the southⓘ: hangings of fifty cubits; their columns ten, and their bases tenⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——The width of the courtyard on the east sideⓘ: fifty cubits.

וחמש עשרה אמה קלעים לכתף עמדיהם שלשה ואדניהם שלשה
καὶ πεντεκαίδεκα πήχεων τὸ ὕψος τῶν ἱστίων τῷ κλίτει τῷ ἑνί· στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς.
Fifteen cubits of hangings for one flankⓘ; their columns three and their bases three.

ולכתף השנית חמש עשרה קלעים עמדיהם שלשה ואדניהם שלשה
καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ δεύτερον, δέκα πέντε πηχῶν τῶν ἱστίων τὸ ὕψος· στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς.
For the second flank: fifteen cubits of hangings; their columns three and their bases three.

ולשער החצר מסך עשרים אמה תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר מעשה רקם עמדיהם ארבעה ואדניהם ארבעה
καὶ τῇ πύλῃ τῆς αὐλῆς κάλυμμα, εἴκοσι πηχῶν τὸ ὕψος, ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης τῇ ποικιλίᾳ τοῦ ῥαφιδευτοῦ· στῦλοι αὐτῶν τέσσαρες, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες.
For the gate of the courtyardⓘ a screenⓘ: twenty cubits, of violet purpleⓘ and red purple and crimsonⓘ and twisted linen, the work of the embroidererⓘ; their columns four and their bases four.

כל עמודי החצר סביב מחשקים כסף וויהם כסף ואדניהם נחשת
πάντες οἱ στῦλοι τῆς αὐλῆς κύκλῳ κατηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ, καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν χαλκαῖ.
All the columns of the courtyard round about banded with silverⓘ, their hooks of silver and their bases of bronze.

ארך החצר מאה באמה ורחב חמשים בחמשים וקמה חמש אמות שש משזר ואדניהם נחשת
τὸ δὲ μῆκος τῆς αὐλῆς ἑκατὸν ἐφ’ ἑκατόν, καὶ εὖρος πεντήκοντα ἐπὶ πεντήκοντα, καὶ ὕψος πέντε πηχῶν, ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν χαλκαῖ.

לכל כלי המשכן בכל עבדתו וכל יתדתיו וכל יתדת החצר נחשת
καὶ πᾶσα ἡ κατασκευὴ καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐργαλεῖα καὶ οἱ πάσσαλοι τῆς αὐλῆς χαλκοῖ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And all the constructionⓘ and all the implementsⓘ and the pegs of the courtyardⓘ: of bronze.—— Masoretic (MT) ——All the utensilsⓘ of the sanctuary for all its serviceⓘ, and all its pegsⓘ and all the pegs of the courtyard: of bronze.

ואתה תצוה את בני ישראל ויקחו אליך שמן זית זך כתית למאור להעלת נר תמיד
Καὶ σὺ σύνταξον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ λαβέτωσάν σοι ἔλαιον ἐξ ἐλαίων ἄτρυγον καθαρὸν κεκομμένον εἰς φῶς καῦσαι, ἵνα κάηται λύχνος διὰ παντός.
And you shall commandⓘ the children of Israel that they bring you pure olive oilⓘ, beatenⓘ, for the light, to make the lamp go upⓘ continuallyⓘ.

באהל מועד מחוץ לפרכת אשר על העדת יערך אתו אהרן ובניו מערב עד בקר לפני יהוה חקת עולם לדרתם מאת בני ישראל
ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἔξωθεν τοῦ καταπετάσματος τοῦ ἐπὶ τῆς διαθήκης καύσει αὐτὸ Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἀφ’ ἑσπέρας ἕως πρωῒ ἐναντίον κυρίου· νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ.
In the tent of meetingⓘ, outside the veilⓘ that is before the Testimonyⓘ, Aaron and his sons shall tend itⓘ from evening until morning before the Tetragrammatonⓘ: a perpetual statuteⓘ for their generations, on the part of the children of Israel.
